Man kan vel si at det er ok i forhold til pris. Ligger nokså sentralt, men er verdt å sette seg inn i t-bane systemet for man orker nok ikke å gå ned til sentrum hver dag.Gå avstand til Sacre Coeur. Det som trekker mest ned er at gaten det ligger i er trafikkert og man hører lyden av mopedene fra rommet, gjennom hele natten. Du får det du betaler for, ingenting mer. Om hotellet bare er et sted du vil sove, er dette helt greit. Noe trangt rom og mjuk seng.

Helt greit hotell, hadde ikke forventet det store. Ok frokost, croissanter, frokostblanding kaffe og te. Minus for liten heis når man har tunge kofferter.. Når vi var der drev de og å pusset opp, så det var mye hamring og saging tidlig om morgenen. En kveld vi kom hjem var det en meget sur portier(som lå å sov på jobb) som åpnet døren, men bortsett […] fra han var personalet hyggelige :-) Hotellet ligger i gangavstand fra Moulin Rouge og mange hyggelige restauranter og morsomme butikker. Godt fornøyd med hotellet

Billig tostjerners hotell,Sentralt i Montmartre. Lett å komme til store deler av Paris. Små rom, men alt nødvendig. GOD FROKOST. Dette kan anbefales!

Typical, old hotel with its miniscule lift and spiralling stairs. Sometimes there wasn't any light on the landing, which could be a problem, but that is really my only negative experience. This hotel was quite good and rates were cheap. Only inconveniences were no wi-fi (had to queue downstairs for common computer), no remote control for TV and a small cute mouse who ran from bathroom to the room. Regardless of these we would gladly recommend this hotel for a cheap and convenient stay in Paris.

This is your typical inner-Paris hotel, with a surprisingly good value, considering the price. Not too far from the Gare St Lazare or the Grands Magasins, it is on a typical popular Parisian street, where you will find all the convenient shops, bakery, butcher, etc.. my room was rather small, as expected, so are the stairs and the elevator but clean […] and cosy. The hotel is not very near to Metro and u need to take around 15-20 minus to walk, it is not convenient when you are taking a big luggage. Hotel's life is the smallest one that I'd never seen, it just can accomodate 1 person, if you take a big luggage u cannot use it.

An older hotel, it is very quaint, and in a quaint neighborhood. We loved the fact that you could open the windows and look up and down the street, watching the passersby. We loved it!! Clean and comfortable--we wished we could have booked it for our entire stay. Desk staff was kind, although we did not need them for anything. There was street noise […] till about 10 pm, but we loved it. The metro stop is around the block, a little confusing at first, but we managed okay. We walked to Gare du Nord train station, but only once (a little longer than you expect from the map). I will remember this hotel as the best of our stay. If you need the elevator, be advised that it holds one person and one piece of luggage at a time. Other than that--stay here and begin to love a real Paris neighborhood!! Les mer

The location of the hotel was great! very easy to get everywhere...we didn't have to rush to get to central paris for example. The hotel staff is friendly. We could see Sacre Cour from the hotel, loads of restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets nearby. Despite being a small room, was very confortable and cute. Go for it!

Hotel Clauzel was located ina wonderful street and neighbourhood - the street has a bakery, supermarket, cafes and a terrific atmosphere the moment you stepped outside. The metro station was just a 4minute walk. The hotel didnt have twin beds available (wich was our preference when booking) and we wernt told this until we arrived which was very frustrating. […] the room was also incredily small but I believe most paris/european accomodation is the same. For value for money I would recommend Hotel Clauzel, particulary as the location was amazing. Les mer

Staff was friendly -arrived very early and were able to leave our bags before wechecked in. Given access to a room where we could change and leave bags. Hotel is in a lovely neighborhood. easy access to metro - cant wait to return - three in a room was not as bad as i thought it might be. Clauzel is a no frills hotel. Its location is superb located just below Sacre-Coeur on Rue des Martyrs which has every type of shop and eatery one could require. The main thing is that it is a short walking distance to 3 METRO stations: Pigale Line 2, Notre Dame de Lorette Line 12 and Le Peletier line 5. close to Metro and within walking distance of many attractions. Some excellent restaurants close by.

hotel was clean, carpet on stairs well used but ok place was very quiet so good to sleep at night. night clerk a little odd wanted me to speak in french(even though he spoke perfect english) but was ok .. breakfast was good when they had everything the first day we had pasteries and bread put in front of us and we helped ourselves to yoghurt /juice/cereal […] and coffee was made in a very loud machine and brought to us. second day same on offer but no yoghurt even though we arrived at breakfast in the first 45mins ... but over all this place was ok and i could stay there again, it was also a good size bedroom even if bathroom was tiny. The Hotel Clauzel in Paris- room was clean but shaby. Shower and bathroom were awful! shower wand would not stay in place, no where to put soap, shampoo except on floor of shower and the batroom was very poorly lit so as not to show the mold on the grout lines in the shower!!! Expected small but could not even close the door if you were sitting on the […] toilet! Night staff were all different folks and the morning on day of departure I went to the lobby to check flight departure times on the computer for guest use (no WIFI either!!!) when I was told at 0640 I could not use the computer until they opened at 0700 or be in the lobby as they were closed until then! No one else was there! breakfast was not available until 08 while other area hotels were available at 07 or 0730. would not book again for the full five days as there were other hotels in the area that we viewed which were cleaner , more accomodating and the bathrooms also small but certainly cleaner for sure! As well the other nicer ones in the same are were 20 - 25 Euros cheaper per night when we inquired and also the rates were posted! On a positive 1 young fellow helped us contact the Canadian Consulate when our passports were stolen and the manager booked a shuttle for us at a good rate the day before we left. Les mer

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Clauzel. The staff were helpfull and friendly. The surrounding area was enjoyable. Some attractions were withing walking distance and the metro stations were reasonably close with the metro easy to use. the rates were reasonable. We would stay there again.

for the price, it was a good deal. we spent only one night there since we were transiting through paris. it is far from tourist attractions but has two metro stations close by. very cute neighbourhood.

Hotel is situated in a very good place. There is a metro station just few minutes from the hotel. The neighbourhood is full with places to eat. Moulen rouge is just 15 min away from the hotel. The rooms were not very big but clean and comfortable with big TV. All day there was a hot water, the towels were clean. The hotel is close to multiple metro stops and is a decent choice. The room was clean and relatively spacious (save a miniscule shower). My main complaint was that the bed was not the most comfortable, although I was usually so tired that it was not a problem. I would recommend the hotel for the price and great location (10 minute walk to Montmartre, […] 15 minute walk to the Louvre and the Seine) in a neighborhood not overrun by tourists (even in August). This hotel is not a 3 star maybe 1 yes maybe 1 no ac, cucarachas in the bathroom yes about 3 or 4, elevator is very small only 2 people will fit yes 2 not 3 or 4 but the location is good that's it.

The hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance from Monmartre; 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro station. The room was small and a bit dark with a tiny bathroom, but it was clean. It is a good place if you need just a bed for a couple of nights.

The hotel is within walking distance of the subway and bus lines. It is in a cute little neighborhood with small shops around and plenty of restaurants. The Hotel Clauzel has breakfast for a reasonable amount each morning, with great variety. A good value hotel that is relatively close to all of the major sights Paris has to offer.

I travel quite a bit and I have seen many type of hotels but this one is by far the most disgusting: My wife and I had a room on the 5th floor with: - dozens of ants walking around - no AC - a missing remote control. Even though I asked for one, the reception desk constantly "forgot" about my request - a disgusting smell coming from the sink Plus do […] not expect the room service to properly clean your room... Do NOT go there if you want to enjoy your stay in Paris ps: I forgot to mention...breakfast is served at 8am. Which hotel serves breakfast this late? Les mer

This hotel is in a vibrant neighborhood with lots of shops, bakeries, delis, and bars to keep you happy no matter what time you head out. Centrally located between three metro stops it gives you choices for lines that you need, but a few minutes walk to all of them. No issues with the hotel. Free internet in the lobby, wireless for a fee. Skip the breakfast […] and enjoy a cafe on the street for the same or better price. Les mer

The bathroom has strong smell of mildew that gave me allergy during my stay. Unless you don't mind the smell, do not stay there.

5mins walk (with case) from the Metro station 'Notre-Dame-De-Lorette' (Green 12 line) Very old hotel, but clean bed/shower/toilet, & pleasant breakfast altho basic (cereal/toast etc) Lovely area, plenty of cafe/restaurant places if you do not want to venture into the heart of Paris. Local markets selling fruit/veg, plenty to see & do, & also a great […] spot just 2 stops away from the heart of the city (therefore a little cheaper :-)) Hotel was a little creeky on the floorboards above, & late night guests who leave doors to swing shut with a bang are a shame! The lift accomodates one person (of average size!) & one bag...2 persons if you are lovers or family!!!! Lovely, v welcoming staff with a smile (unusual for most of Paris!) were happy to help & even kept bags for us whilst we made the most of our last day. Can recommend red bus tour within Paris, we took the yellow 4 district bus tour, which wasnt really necessary, the red bus tour would have surficed & cheaper! Les mer

Loved position - we love Montmartre at night, and were able to stay out late at night and walk 'home' safely - a little man who had a shett laid out on a sofa (bless") answered the doorbell and had our key ready. Very basic room e.g. no kettle or fridge - so take your own drink in! It is a perfect place if you are looking for something inexpensive with its own charm. It is within a walking distance of all the landmarks (Notre Dam, Eiffel Tower, Grand Palais and etc.), plus it is situated at a street with amazing bakeries, cafes and confectioners'. I definitely recommend this place if you like to see a real Paris.

The Hotel was good for 2 stars, but in summer is imposible to stay there, no air condition or fan,the temperature inside the room can be around 40C.

The hotel Clauzel was easy to find from the train station. The hotel did not have air conditioning and we stayed in July, so it was very hot. The room had one window which was partially blocked by a wardrobe and no fans were provided. The window would have been sufficient to provide a breeze, unfortunately, the hotel is adjacent to apartments and there […] was a tenant who decided to smoke until midnight on our second night. The breakfast food and service nearly made up for the warm room. If you are going to spend most of your time sightseeing, this room is sufficient. Les mer

The property is old, but is kept clean and the staff was friendly. The location is very good, especially because the metro station is about two blocks away. The breakfast was ok; nothing to brag about. The only drawback is that the hotel advertises Internet available, but that is not necesarily the case. Internet is only available in the lobby, they […] only have one terminal, so if there is a line of people, the wait can be long. Plus, it is usually slow and/or down. Most properties provide internet; so I wished this one did too. I would like to see that Hotels.com encourages the properties they list to provide directions and how to get to the hotels. This would make things a lot easier for travelers who are not familiar with the area to find the properties they have booked. Les mer

The Hotel is situated in an area surrounded by shops and restaurants within reach of public transport, Metro/Buses, and all the attractions of Paris, the only drawback I found was the lift in the Hotel, it's very small and noisy, (like being launched in a space shuttle) I found it good value for the money and the staff were very helpful

We stayed a week in a quad room while seeing the sights of Paris and Hotel Clauzel served us well. The quad room was tiny and just fit two adults, two kids and the bags but it served the purpose. The street below wasn't noisy, there was a life, the room was clean, breakfast was fine and the staff very helpful. A computer with internet access for […] guests in the lobby was a bonus. The location was great as we walked to Gare du Nord on the last morning to catch our train. St Georges metro station was only a few minutes walk away and there were lots of restaurants close by, as well as a laundromatte, banks etc. A great no frills, value for money hotel. Les mer

The hotel location was good, in general wherever you stay in Paris is good because of the great public transportation they have, in all of europe as a matter of fact. For the price, the hotel was not good at all, horrible and dark halls, the smell of cigarettes took over the whole place. The lady in charge was not very helpful when it came to help us […] calling a taxi at 530 in the morning, she claimed that is Paris finding a taxi at those hours was impossible and I thought that the most visited city in the world must be use to having tourist traveling at all times of the night and day and she was just bullshitting making me almost missing my flight when taxis where going by the hotel every minute. The person in charge should also be more tolerant with people coming from other places and at least try to speak their language( specially english and she spoke very well whenever she fell like it), I am not fluent in french and I went out of my way to speak the language and make myself more welcome. Aside from these inconveniences, Paris is a must for any city, culture lover. Les mer

nous étions chambre 36 matelas défoncé, prises qui ne fonctionnent pas ou avec faux contact, porte de douche rouillée, moisissure dans les joints de la douche, chasse d'eau qui fuie en permanence et odeurs de cigarettes (venant des chambres voisines?) a part ca, plutot calme et quartier tres sympa.

Tout près d'une sortie métro, proche de Montmartre et à la fois dans une rue tranquille. Accueil très convivial. A recommander.
