Hotel Sempione - Firenze

Good hotel. Perfect combination of price and comfort. Just one thing... I had a room on the 1-st floor just beside the brekfast room. So from 7 o clock in the morning I was woke up by loud and joyful italian laughter and conversations... Jus tbe aware of this one!

Great location for a walking trip of Florance as you are close to the train station and a short walk from the Duomo. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

This hotel is older than expected. Very noisy if you live on 2nd or 3rd floor. The neighbourhood seems unsafe, you could hear yelling and screaming at night. You'd find beggers just outside the door. Won't recommend this if you are girls travelling alone. The only good thing is that it's close to the main train station.

Hotel is in a busy part of town, so you can expect night marauders. Staff were wonderful and very helpful.

Hotel is great but the service is horrible including the front desk, the restaurant bartender, and the crew that sets up the breakfast buffet. The Spanish guy that is there all night doing a little of everything is very helpfull.

My grandson and I spent 5 nights at the hotel. The staff was always polite, friendly and helpful. Being close to SMN station made it easy and did not need a taxi. Have already recommended the hotel.

Considering my experiences in Venice and Rome, this hotel room was a sheer delight. The room had a double bed and two night tables, and every facility needed to make your stay comfortable. There was actually room to put your basic necessaries and I did not have to put shaving stuff etc., in the suitcase after every use. The only problem was that in order to use the free internet, you have to go to the hotel lobby because the signal was not strong enough for the second floor. The hotel's location cannot be beat. I was there only one night. My one recommendation - avoid the first floor - that is where breakfast is served and they start very early in the morning and it can be a bit noisy. Aside from that, everything was great.

This hotel is located a short two minute walk from the train station (only one turn) and five minutes from the center of the sight-seeing action. Don't expect a huge room or all the whistles and bells, this place is where you go AFTER visiting all the sights. The room was clean and tidy when we arrived exhausted every evening. My family had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We encounter the staff to be polite and friendly. The room was large with a window view. There are serveral shops and restaurants nearby. There is also and ATM about 1 block away. We had an amazing meal at a charming place accross the street called Trattoria Atichi Cancelli. The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were helpful. The rooms are small. The location is in the heart of Florence a short walk to attractions and railway station. Ask for a room away from the street, as the the front rooms can be noisy. For the location it is a good place to stay.

Located is very convenient to train station! Only 5 mins from Train Station! Next to the local market! Lots of shop!! Room is really tiny, might try another hotel next time..

The hotel was very nice - clean and comfortable. All hotel rooms in Italy are small and the hotel was a bit expensive, but Florence is expensive so I think it was good value for money. It is close to the station so access to the various sights is easy. The staff were very friendly and it was an enjoyable stay.

This hotel is just a stone's throw from Florence train station. From the hotel, you can walk to the famous tourist sites and the leather goods market is just across the road. Hotel location is very good that close to main station and surrounded by restaurant and shop. Even Florence is not a big city that you can take a walk.

The neighbourhood is a littke run down as is the hotel however it is ok value for money and is well located. Waking distance to all sites and numerous restaurants.

Very near the train station n to town. Staff were helpful and there was free wifi. For the price, this was the best hotel I stayed in. Downer would be i booked a double bed but got two singles put together. There are plenty of hotels to choose from in florence but this is def worth going

We only had one night in Florence but the ease of access to the hotel (5 mins from the Central Train Station) and central location made seeing Florence very easy and convenient. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had a nice view of the city and was small but not unusual for Italy. Everything was close. The hotel was as we expected. It was near the train station, the room was fine, breakfast was good. We had minor complaints because of the uncomfortable pillows and the wireless internet not working. The big problem was there was some sewage problem at the hotel and the lobby/staircase had a distinctive odor to it. To cover this up, they used copious […] quantities of some perfume. The combination of the two made it smell like old cat litter. The room didn't have that same smell (although the bathroom smelled of sewage before we had even used it). It was a normal hotel and by normal I mean good. It had everything that I expected: a TV with international channels also, a safe and all other basic things. It also had a list with all the touristic things, their address, timetable and prices. So overall was a good problem. A wonderful hotel! It has incredibly clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. We stayed for 4 nights (extended our stay because we were so happy with the facilities). The hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating. They helped us find a restaurant, get a good map, find the bus station, and even offered to book a tour. The only problem I had with the room was the double bed was two twins pushed together, so I had some trouble sleeping. Otherwise, it was great!

Hotel is close to the train station, extremely clean with good showers. Staff was helpful in all aspects of our trip, breakfast included with hot and cold selections. Easy walk to main sites in Florence not to mention great little places to eat. We would return without hesitation.

Good central location. Garage nearby but expensive but guess this is the norm for Florence. Room was small but very clean and more than adequate for our needs. Would recommend with friendly staff and simple and good breakfast included in the room rate.

This hotel is located very close to the train and bus stations, which makes it ideal for day trips out of Florence. Room is decent but nothing fancy. Double bed is actually two twins pushed together - which is pretty common in Italy.

The hotel itself was clean but after a hot August day, it would have been nice to have air conditioning. We had to sleep with the window open and the street noise was very loud. The breakfast offering was quite small as well.

My daughter and I were looking forward to our first trip to Florence but leary of our choice of hotels, until we arrived and saw our room. The hotel and room exceeded our expectations. The location is two blocks from the main bus and train station among the bustling area where you can find everything for your needs. Close by were little stores where one could buy food and beverages; internet shops; restaurants; clothing; a laundromat; and of course souvenirs. Close by and easy to find is the "main market place" At the bus station buy bus passes that will enable you to hop on and off the buses all over town. Make sure you get a but map and schedule. From Hotel Sempione to the left across the street on the corner is a bus stop. Having a great place to stay at the end of the day after walking and touring the city is very important and Hotel Sempione gave us that. Les mer

Very clean, fairly spartan, nice breakfast, a couple blocks from the train station and sites. This is to my mind what a vacation hotel should be: A fine place to land and shower after a long day of walking or travel, while not paying for the niceties of a room in a upscale hotel since you won't be using the hotel for much more than sleeping!

abbiamo soggiornato all'hotel sempione per il fine settimana di pasqua e devo dire che la scelta è stata praticamente perfetta. il punto di forza dell'hotel è sicuramente la posizione, davvero centrale, in dieci minuti a piedi si arriva in piazza del duomo , mentre San Lorenzo e Santa Maria Novella sono ancora + vicini. l'unica critca che mi sento di […] fare riguarda la dimensione della camenra, davvero piccolina, ma alla fine firenze è talmente bella che in camera ci siamo stati così poco. quindi a chi , come noi, vuole un albergo in centro, con personale gentilissimo, pulito e connessione wi fi gratuita e veloce, l'hotel sempione fa al vostro caso! La gente del Hotel tubo muy buena atención y dispoción, lamentablemente nos dieron una habitación en el segundo piso al lado del ascensor, se escuchaban todos los timbres del telefono de la recepción y la pasada de todos los pasajeros que tomaban el ascensor lo cual hizo imposible descansar bien durante la noche.

距离smn火车站较近，附近商店、饭店丰富。适合步行游览者。职员服务周到，房间暖气充足，洗浴间整洁完备，早餐令人满意。缺点:房间wifi信号极差，无法使用。不推荐此家酒店。

Loque uno quiere es llegar al hotel a dejar las maletas y este hotel esta cerca de la estaciond e tren asi que es muy practico el desayuno bueno en general bien.

Centralt prisvärt hotell.

Lage: unmittelbar im Zentrum! (sehr gut) Die Zimmer sind eher klein. Für Familien mit Kindern nur bedingt geeignet. Für Paare, die sich ein oder zwei Tage in Florenz aufhalten wollen optimal!
