We liked the convenience but the hotel is very worn and plain looking. The hotel does do an adequate job of making the rooms clean but overall the hotel looks plain and old. Nothing special at all.

It is what it is, a low cost place in waterville, maine. Wasn't expecting super and didn't get it, wasn't expecting a dump and didn't get it. Middle of the road hotel to stay at by the interstate. Adequate.

Very clean updated room ! year around swimming pool and arcade both entertaining for kids .Hotcakes were luscious and there was a variety of other choices3 for breakfast,

I'm originally from the area and 8 years ago my wife and I were married nearby. We booked the hotel for all the out of town guests. The reason at the time is everything seemed nice, well maintained, and fairly new. The continental brekfast was a nice touch and at the time well done. Since that time we've stayed several times when in town to vist family. […] Each time the hotel seems dramatically worse for wear. The hallways smell of old cigarette smoke so badly now its almost unbearable to leave the room. the finishes in the rooms are clearly worn significantly. the comforters on the bed had stains and dirty marks and yet were not replaced. Everything has a general feel of being worn and not very clean. The continental breakfast used to be quite nice and with a good selection. That selection has gotten less each year and now its not even worth eating. food was cold and waitstaff were rude and more interested in chit-chat with coworkers than helping patrons. At this point we will not be back. At this point the entire chain has lost our business. We used to stay at comfort inns specifically because of the good experience we used to have at this one location. Now we see that it appears to be spreading throughout the chain as well. Les mer

The room was comfy and had all the necessities we needed. The continental breakfast that was included was not only self-serve, but you could order a plate of warm food from a limited menu- delicious! It was in the right place at the right time for the right price...we'll be back!

Booked for a local College visit with my daughter. Hotel must have been updated since other reviews posted.Carpeting in hotel & room seemed new, bathroom had granite counter top, had flat screen TV, room size for a king bed and sofa was huge. Hotel staff was very nice and courteous. Location was perfect for my needs. Pillow and mattress were comfortable […] and I slept like a baby. Breakfast was served in the dining area and was good and 'free'. Coffee was also available in the lobby 24/7. I would definitely stay there again. Les mer

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The continental breakfast was impressive, made to order and self serve options. Right across the street from Tim hortons which is great for Canadian travellers!!

Given a room directly across from where construction work was ongoing through the night. As my wife was unable to sleep, we had to change rooms in the early hours. All this after I emphasized "peace and quiet" at check-in. The hotel itself is fine, and the breakfast very good.

Our stay was just ok, the few bad things were the dirty towel hanging in our bathroom and in my sons room it smelled moldy/musty. The pool had way too many chemicals in it. Might try another place next time I am in Waterville, Me.

The construction is cheap, linens very low end - and the walls paper thin so you hear everything on either side of you. The free breakfast is what you would expect, very marginal

It was a great surprise to find that we received a free, very nice hot breakfast in the morning. The beds were very comfortable and the room very clean. What more could you want?!? Very good value.

Just an overnight stay but was very pleased with everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the complimentary full breakfeast was a pleasant surpise.

This hotel is old. Our room had seen better days. Everything felt a bit sticky. The man who checked us in rolled his eyes when I asked if some parts of the motel were quieter than others. He put us next to a room that held two families with young children who ran around until after 11:00. I did nbot feel like I could ask for a different room. We wanted a place that was clean, and located in an area that allowed easy access to different cities for shopping. Waterville ME was the ideal as it's 45 min to 1 hr from Bangor, Augusta, Freeport and Portland. Located a couple of minutes from the I95 and next door to McDonalds with Tim Horton’s and Wendy’s is across the street as well a shopping complex […] with stores like JC Penny and such are either a minute drive or within walking distance of the hotel. The room provided 2 Queen beds vs the usual 2 Doubles found in most hotels as well it is clean and offers the basics such as HD Flat Screen TV, table and couple of chairs. The bathroom was also very clean and the only complaint was the shower drain was draining slowly so after a little time in the shower the water was building up around your feet otherwise all was very good. The hotel does have an indoor pool that looked clean and well maintained but we did not use it on this trip. Breakfast was included in the rate and instead of being a typical self serve breakfast area in the lobby they had a server who would take your order from 4 preset choices and deliver it to your table. You could choose the American Breakfast with 2 eggs done your choice, Home fries, Bacon or Sausage and toast; French toast; Pancakes or Waffle all served with bacon or sausage. The breakfast area also provided a self serve coffee/juice area along with a fridge with yogurt plus fresh pastries and single serve cereal boxes and fruit. Les mer

My son and I needed a room for one night since we had a weekend long class to take and we lived 2 1/2 hours away. My only complaint is the cost for the area and the accomodations was a little steep. Otherwise it was acceptable. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom clean.

Overall, this was a great stay. The staff was very attentive and polite, the room was clean and bright, and the free breakfast was fantastic. Would highly recommend this facility for it's value.

This is a basic hotel. Services are good. Free wi-fi. Made to order breakfast is good, my co-worker said. There is a Tim Horton's across the street and a McDonald's next door. A Hannaford's supermarket is a block away. Rooms have fridges so you can keep groceries in your room.

Close to all ammenities and tim horton's and wendy's across the road, and mcdonald's beside it. Nice pool and great buffet breakfast in the mornings.

The general appearance of the exterior of the hotel looked a little shabby. Also, the carpet at the entrance to the lobby and the lobby was very dirty looking. It was hard to find a parking spot. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Close to Unity 1/2 hour Decor is old and tired. Room and bathroom were clean. Quiet location, Slept like a baby. Breakfast was good, something for everyone - Included with the room. Easy stay for visiting MOFGA Fair in September Our 2nd time staying here

Enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn in Waterville to attend the Common Ground Fair in Unity, ME. Great to come back from a day at the fair and have a swim in the pooland go for dinner in town.Glad to see the hotel supports green efforts, just like the Common Ground Fair!

When booked by hotels.com I didn't get a suite. Breakfast was excellent but the condition of the hotel was pretty poor.

although the staff was very accomodating and tried to see to our comfort, the beds in two rooms, which included two queens, a king and pullout sofa were all horribly soft. I would greatly suggest getting new mattresses for the hotel.

It just a nothing special hotel, the internet never worked the whole time we were there, they had no answers, and really didn't care. We asked for some advice on places to walk and restaurants, and they just we not helpful, there are better places to stay in Waterville for around the same money.

The hotel is OK. It's clean and you even get a hot cooked breakfast in the deal, although what passes for bacon is concerning! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel could do with some updating with new carpets and wall paper. The gym has an excellent running machine but lacks other equipment needed for a good work out and is small […] . Les mer
