This is a basic hotel. Services are good. Free wi-fi. Made to order breakfast is good, my co-worker said. There is a Tim Horton's across the street and a McDonald's next door. A Hannaford's supermarket is a block away. Rooms have fridges so you can keep groceries in your room.

"Generally OK"
The general appearance of the exterior of the hotel looked a little shabby. Also, the carpet at the entrance to the lobby and the lobby was very dirty looking. It was hard to find a parking spot. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

"The Comfort Inn of Waterville--close to everything"
Enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn in Waterville to attend the Common Ground Fair in Unity, ME. Great to come back from a day at the fair and have a swim in the pooland go for dinner in town.Glad to see the hotel supports green efforts, just like the Common Ground Fair!

When booked by hotels.com I didn't get a suite. Breakfast was excellent but the condition of the hotel was pretty poor.

although the staff was very accomodating and tried to see to our comfort, the beds in two rooms, which included two queens, a king and pullout sofa were all horribly soft. I would greatly suggest getting new mattresses for the hotel.

"Kinda dirty for the amount of money"
I was disappointed because of the price. It was slightly dirty, and the rooms smelt VERY BAD! I had to go purchase air fresheners!

All I ask is for a clean room/bathroom and a comfortable bed and that's exactly what I got. Friendly staff was a value-added extra!

It just a nothing special hotel, the internet never worked the whole time we were there, they had no answers, and really didn't care. We asked for some advice on places to walk and restaurants, and they just we not helpful, there are better places to stay in Waterville for around the same money.

The hotel is OK. It's clean and you even get a hot cooked breakfast in the deal, although what passes for bacon is concerning! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable, convenient. Good breakfast with hot food selections. Decor nothing special but perfectly adequate. My husband, daughter and I stayed here while visiting Colby College.
"Grimy and poor service"
The breakfast buffet was good. Otherwise this hotel was unpleasant. The first floor reeked of pool chlorine and some other undefinable odor. I had to enter and exit my fourth floor room through that. The carpets are dirty. My first room was not made up. I won't return.

"Disappointed - Don't book if you want to use pool!"
We booked this hotel for an overnight stay because it was convenient to the I-95 and had a pool (we were travelling with a child and the pool is a necessity for us). The good: The people who work here were great: especially Barbara at the front desk who was very pleasant and helpful. The complimentary hot breakfast buffet was a nice touch - not five-star […] dining but, hey, it was free! The rooms were decent and clean, if a wee bit small. The bad: The condition of this hotel was very disappointing. The common areas were very worn and dated, and not very clean. The layout of the hotel was very strange, you check in and then go back to your car and drive around to a second set of doors to go to your room. The biggest dissapointment, however, was the pool. It was not usable. The water was cloudy and murky, and the entire pool area was dingy. I would not get in it myself or let my four-year old in it. Without a usable pool, this hotel was not a good value for what we paid and I would not return. Unless you plan to eat your body weight in scrambled eggs at the buffet, you are better off to book at another hotel without a pool - you will get a nicer place to stay for the same price. We stayed in four different hotels at a similar price point during this trip, and this hotel was not a good value in comparison to the other places we stayed. Les mer
"Great Hotel for a Night's Stay"
Located just off I-95, the hotel was easy to access and close to breakfast places and a KMart, should anything forgotten be replaced. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Room was in great condition.
Only complaint was tiny pillows on a king sized bed!
Convenient to Colby College, less than five minutes away.
"Not that bad..."
Room was as expected, hotel is dated and needs a face lift. The bed was very uncomfortable, saggy in the middle, hard springs on the edges. The saving grace was the breakfast - food was good, real eggs not powdered; and although the hotel was booked to capacity there was no problem getting a seat or having enough to eat.

This hotel is worth the money, not only is it clean and comfortable, you get a great breakfast served by a very nice waitress in the morning.. and it's included. The room was $40 cheaper than the other local hotel which didn't offer breakfast. Easy decision for me.

I was pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Comfort Inn. Our low price ($20 cheaper than through another travel site) included a free buffet breakfast. The breakfast included eggs, sausage, pancakes, homefries, assorted cereals, toast, and pastry. For a family of four, we couldn't have beat the convenience or the price! older hotel with low ceilings? Mold in halls and bathroom. Overall not happy with conditions and size of room.
