As a business person that travels to Bozeman regularly, I have to say that Microtel is the best value in the area! Clean, comfortable, and cozy rooms. Friendly staff and a great breakfast are additional pluses.

The hotel was nice and clean. The desk in the room made working out of town easy. The wireless internet worked well. Room temp was easy to control. We would stay there again.

Great little hotel and convenient location. I only have 2 complaints. The first being the bathroom fan either next door or above us was so loud I could not really get to sleep until they finally turned it off about 1 am:( So I will bring ear plugs next time. Also, the pool & hot tub water needs to be changed out more often! I stayed here years before […] and the same problem. I got chlorine burns from the hot tub. The water is green:( If you don't plan on swimming or soaking I guess it's not a problem. Les mer

"OK....but...."
We had a tolerable two-night stay. The facility is about 10 years old and is in need of some renovation....hall carpets are shabby, paint chipped etc.. When we arrived, one of the beds looked as if someone had taken a nap on it...body impression on the bed....we got a new room with no problem. The halls needed to be vacuumed. On the second night, the […] shower hadn't been cleaned and bed was hastily made with what looked like the previous day's sheets. I guess that's what you get with a high school boy doing the housekeeping. One side of the building faced the freeway, but we still couldn't get a room on the "quiet side" even though they were far from full on either night. I guess we'll check deeper next time. Les mer

This hotel is at great loctation. Just right off the highway I90. The room was clean and the staff was so helpful. I would stay again. My grandchildern had fun in the pool even thow it was small. That it is what counts the Kids... Thanks for the clean room and good staff.

Affordable rates, comfortable rooms. Sparse but adequate continental breakfast. The only complaint I have is that the swimming pool was in desperate need of a good cleaning.

The price was hard to beat, however, on the second night I noticed that the sheets had yellow stains on them which was very disturbing. The walls are very thin, but in a safe area and the staff was very nice.

This was a very comfortable hotel, especially for an overnight stay. My one criticism is that the remote control for the TV was missing, and it was annoying have to stand at the TV and change the channels and the volume.

Initially I was only going to stay here two nights, ended up staying 5 nights. The hotel is very safe, great location, love the hot tub. Being a female in my 20s it's always a concern to travel solo but I felt very safe.

I am always happy when there is a Microtel in a city I will driving through, as they typically offer a clean and comfortable low frills room at a decent price. The room and property in Bozeman was clean and convenient. However the noisiness was uncommon for a Microtel. I could hear every conversation in the rooms surrounding me, the bathroom fans sounded […] like broken airplane engines, I was woken up when someone came in the hotel at 3:30 in the morning and someone else took a shower at 5:30 in the morning - could hear every shower, sink, flush in fact. I could even hear when someone turned on the fluorescent light in the room next door! I think someone forgot to put insulation in the (plastic?) walls of this property... Les mer

The website tells you amenities that aren't there I.e. microwave, coffee pot. Of couse youcan go down and use the one in the breakfast bar. Nothing but starches for breakfast. And 2 of the 3 days we were there, the room didn't get cleaned. I had to ask for clean towels and was told it was because the Do Not Disturb sign was out. Which it was but only […] till 9 AM. Guess you have to advertise your room is empty and use the Maid Service sign and take your chances on getting robbed. Les mer
"Not as micro as other Microtels"
Maybe it's just that Montana has a lot of space, but this Microtel isn't nearly as micro as others that I've stayed in. The rooms aren't big, but you're not jammed up against the wall, either. And the rooms come with these cozy little window seats with cushions (next to windows that open!). It's a cozy little spot to rest in. The hotel is located right […] off the highway. If you're industrious, you can walk into town. The downtown area is maybe a mile. Or, you can drive (although parking on Main St. in Bozeman is a pain). There's a Wal-Mart within spitting distance, and a few gas stations, too. There's also a couple of eateries nearby: two BBQ places, a McDonald's, a Chinese buffet, and an Arby's. There's also a Holiday Inn and a Best Western within 1/4 mile. They both have restaurants and bars. The decor of the rooms reminds me of Ikea. It's plain but functional. Les mer

The front desk staff was very accomodating and helpful. The problem is that the hotel has little noise dampening. We were there three nights and the first night we had people playing games above us to 1:30 in the morning. The second night we had people come home next door at $;30 AM and continued to party. "A little noisy"
This hotel was very clean and had a great rate but the walls are really thin. As you walk down the halls by the doors you can here very clearly into the rooms. We had the misfortune of being next to the ice machine and when someone used it, it sounded like it was in our bathroom! VERY noisy. Other than that it was fine. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, they have a small indoor pool and hot tub. The rooms are pretty small, we had two adults and a six yr old and it was cramped with all our gear. Even though the hotel has suffered recent major hail damage to the exterior the hotel was very clean and comfortable on the inside. The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. The only thing I can downgrade them on is lack of iron in the rooms. However, when we asked for one, they got us one right away.

"Just passing through"
We just stayed one night while passing through. The room was small but clean. The pool and breakfast were great.

We stayed 2 nights for a visit to Montana State Univ, and were pleased with the value. Close to the interstate for travel, and easy to get to the university. Beds very comfortable, large room, decent breakfast display.

Room was clean, bed was great and comfortable. No iron, ironing board in the room had to go get it from the front desk. No coffee pot in room.

Just stayed one night as we were travelling. Convenient to highway, friendly staff and very clean and comfortable room. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Breakfast room was very cramped. Rooms were comfortable. Exterior room doors slam shut, so don't expect to get to sleep in. The neighbors will wake you.
