Fantastisk beliggenhet. Flott service. Fine fasiliteter. Fikk også frokost innkludert selv om bestilling sa noe annet. Rommet var veldig slitt og luktet kjemisk vasket.. Litt problemer med 1 av 3 heiser som medførte litt venting. Hadde rom på baksiden rett over A/C. Var en jevn dur som på et fly. Neste gang ville vi oppgradert til strandutsikt.

Fint hotell, men må kjøre i ca 25 minutter for å komme til den sørlige delen der det er noe å se.

We stayed here for four nights, and couldn't sleep the first two nights, because the room (325) was right above the air condition machinery. It ruined our stay completely, because you can only have so much fun when you haven't slept in several days. Also, the internet only worked from the lobby, because the connection was so bad elsewhere.

God service og fin beliggenhet ved Miami Beach. Fint hotell for kortere opphold.

Direkte på stranden. Stor kaotisk lobby. Ok mottagelse. Hotellet er sterkt preget av manglende vedlikehold. Mugg på veggene. Ac,dryppet ned i sengen. Dør til veranda rustet fast. Teppe på gulv flekket skittent. Vond muggen lukt på rom og korridorer. Basseng skittent,gikk ikke ann å se til bunn,fløt hår. Vil aldri anbefale dette hotellet for noen.

STORT KAOS når vi kom, fikk ikke rommet vårt, klokken var 16:30 og rommet var ikke klart!!!! var veldig sliten etter en lang kjøretur også fikk vi ikke rommet vårt måtte vente i 30 min i resepsjonen.! Hvist dere bestiller dobbeltrom med 2 senger så er det en seng + en liggesofa. kostet også en FORMUE og parkere bilen.,var dorleg med renhold,/sløvt renhold. […] Vi fikk visst den "nyoppussa" delen i hotellet.Hva dei mener som nyoppussa hotellrom er tydligvis og henge en 32"lcd tv på veggen ,vips så var det "nyoppussa",visst di ikke bare har pusset rommene opp med gamle tepper og møbler på "fretex" ?.senga var i det minste ren.det positive med hotellet var : fint / nytt treningsrom.-rett utforbi var jo stranda hvor du fikk låne gratis håndkle og strandstol.+ det var leker for ungene hver dag. Reiste i følge med et vennepar av oss når vi sjekket inn på dette hotellet. Vi fikk rom i første etasje, de i tiende. Bra for dem.... Rommet vårt var skikkelig 80-talls, med grell innredning, crt-tv og værst av alt: Det var støv overalt. Bedre gikk det med de i tiende etasje. De fikk et nyoppusset rom som var helt rent, 42 tommer plasma og et vesentlig […] penere bad. De forsøkte seg også med å hevde at vi kun hadde bestilt ett rom, og ville dytte oss alle sammen inn i første etasje, men han måtte motvillig hoste opp et rom til da vi viste han utskriften av bookingen vår. Så et kjempefint hotell om man havner oppover i etasjene, som ellers har bra restaurant, bar, basseng og strandlinje å by på. Les mer

Great place if you just want access to a beach in a quiet area on North beach Far away from south beach so dont go here if you want to be in the middle og the action Taxi to South beach 40 dollars To airport 52 dollars Clean room good beach and pool area

We found the hotel very nice with good part sea views from the room. The car parking system works well with 24 hr security. The beach towels are very small but you can have six per day per room. breakfast was ok and quite a bit of choice from. Do not take the bus to South Beach it only costs $2 but it takes forever, take you car and park #10 - $12.The […] beach is good and the chairs are at no cost the rest for your confort costs. Our air conditioner leaked a puddle on the floor, the toilet wouldn't flush, the shower pressure was horrible. Neither room telephone worked. When we pulled out the sofa bed, there were cigarette burn holes and pen marks on it. And even though we requested rooms next to each other, that was not granted. Overall the customer service wasn't that great. […] It was not in walking distance to many things, but it was about a 20 minute ride to south beach. Les mer

Excellent late availability rate, very spacious room did not too enjoy the outside balcony space as the chairs were very dirty and old.

Locationa great, beach was wonderful, rooms a tad outdated, but didn't affect our stay. Food was good and great family environment

Very happy with hotel. Wasn't sure based on reviews, but really a great place. Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. Would have loved to have had a balcony, but room was great anyway. Clean, big and very comfortable. I had a few, small complaints, but they were minor; pool and pool grill close too early, need to get to beach or pool early as they run out of […] towels. Do replenish as day goes on. Not a ton of stuff for teens to do at night. Beach gets very crowded also. I would definitely go back though. Surrounding area nice. Store and restaurants within short walking distance. Les mer

Everything was fine, except the elevators. When I was checking out, I waited for 10 minutes for an elevator that would take me down with my suitcase! At last, a fairly empty elevator stopped on its way up (I was at floor 3) and I went all the way up to go down 1 floor.

Beautifful setting, well located, rooms are dated but clean. The 305 restaurant although was good it was the worst service I have ever had, no service for a half hour after being seated. We got our drinks and then no food for an hour, my plate sat waitng for the server for 25 min. before my wifes came hot of the grill. We noticed the chef and other […] servers pointing at our table but our server was no where in site, the manager finally brought the food to our table. The server did apologize when getting our bill but took another half hour to return. Les mer

The staff was very accommodating. The location was excellent, how ever the hotel is in a middle of renovation and near a construction area (lots of noise from early morning till late in the afternoon) Not restful!

Could not check in until 5 p.m., I asked if I could check in early the lady told me no at 2 p.m. When it was time I had to wait and another lady said the room was waited as she looked down no eye contact, the maid threw away my paper and plastic bags. She only came one day to clean the room out of 3.

Their were some good things to say about this resort, but a lot of bad things as well. I would NOT recommend family or friends to stay here. Room renovation, pier renovation, horrible service, VIP / time sharing selling are some disadvantages of staying at this resort Got in early, was told rooms available at 12:30pm. Got our room at 1:30pm. Took 20-30 […] minutes to get into elevator--Resort only has three of them. Got to our floor and went to find it, couldn't because our room number wasn't on door. Room to left and right of us had room numbers but ours didn't. Went inside and room was big. Two bedrooms with LCD TV's and another TV right by front door. Turned them on, one of bedroom TV didn't work. Looked for phone, but it was hidden in the night table. Went downstairs (again waiting for elevators for 10-15 minutes). Lobby crowded with people trying to check in and out. Only two agents working the reservations check in/out, When I told them of missing room number and TV not working, the woman told me our room was being renovated?! If it was being renovated why did they give us this room in first place!!! Hungry, found that the Kitchen 305 onsite restaurant wasn't open, however, the cafe was open for buffet for $12 pp+tips+tax. We wanted to eat outside, but saw that the Pier restaurant was under construction, part of the wooden pier was missing. The Tiki Bar had some selection. Ordered two virgin 2 mango pina colada, 1 coconut water, 1 fish and chips, 2 Mahi Mahi sandwiches. WHAT WE GOT --1 regular pina colada, 2 mango daiquiri, 1 fish and chips, and 2 cajun chicken sandwiches. How can one the bar / waitress mix up the order this much is beyond me! Back up the normal 10-15 minute elevator wait time, and back in room. Examining room further, the tiles on the counters were cracked but beds were clean and comforter fluffy. Took a nap. Constantly hearing knocking and drill noises of some room being taken apart. Checkout is at noon but housekeeping knocked on door at 9 Les mer

Hotel was just OK. Only one restaurant. We did eat dinner there and it was excellent. Hotel was very busy. Only 3 elevators which had a hard time taking care of everyone. Long waits. We asked why so busy and were told by desk clerk that the hotel participates in time sharing.

A nice hotel just on the beach. The view is fantastic. Nice breakfast - all though not free. We got a free voucher at arrival for the first morning. The bathroom was a bit rundown, but clean. Parking is 18 $ a day for valet, and 15 $ across the street. We were travelling with a baby and they asked if we wanted a crib brought up (free), which was were […] nice. The neighborhood is okay. Shops are nearby, but not a really interesting place to go for a walk. (except the fantastic beach of course). Really good value for the money! Les mer

We were a party of three booked for a one bedroom suite. When we arrived about 3pm the room was not available but we were treated very well by Claudia at the front desk who arranged for two rooms at the same price. Our rooms were oceanfront, on the main floor, no elevators needed. Some people might not have liked them because we were near pool entrance […] but we thought they were great and not at all noisy, far from the night club area. The lobby is a great people watching area. The valet parking was $18 per day but it was worth it to me since the lot was across the street and a tricky turnaround area. I left my phone in the car and the staff retrieved it for me. They were all very pleasant and helpful. The housekeeping staff were also very nice. The room wasn't always made up until the afternoon but that was ok with us. We walked to shopping and restaurants on Collins Avenue several times. We sat on the beach in the morning. In the afternoon the taller hotels around us block the sun, this hotel is not as tall so I think we got a little more sun than them. The pier next door is still being rebuilt but we were not bothered by the construction. We could not get wi-fi in our room, that was one drawback if you really need that. Noisy at all hours of the night specially after 1 o'clock people talking in the pool areas in the halls. Construction going on in the early mornings. The accommadation is horrible by the beach area. You need to buy umbrella and pull the chairs . there no body to bring the chairs to you. Chairs are collected at 5

Also this particular hotel, we stayed in last yr, and this time i think the valet parking guys was more human, just didnt stand there expecting u to tip" them everytime they bought u car from the parking area, did enjoy that, hotel looks good from outside and also lobby area, but that bout it, the hotel rooms could need a renovation very soon, actually […] entering the room it really looks like crap" sorry the expression, nothin like from the outside face" weird but true, but location wise vey close to everything incl Aventura mall which is roughly 10 min. drive and Miami Beach just located a few steps from lobby. safety box, fridge, oh yea forgot coffea maker, "but do remember to tell them in reception" if its not in room, its complimentary :o) our room was 204, facing the beach pretty nice, with an balcony as well, and comp, wireless. The accomodations are nice; some additional updating is needed in the rooms however, they are by no means, terrible. Make sure you eat at the hotel restaurant, the food is excellent. The Pier that is in the hotel picture is not useable. The beach is very nice, pool in good condition, spa excellent. Overall a very positive expereince.

We were sent up to our room with a key, opened the door and other guests were in the room! We were then supposed to get an upgraded room, but that wasn't ready, so we ended up with the third room, which was ok. Hallways smell, a bit dated, but big, comfortable rooms with a good beach and atmosphere.

Pretty good hotel. Nothing to blow you away, but nothing too bad either. I got one of the beach front views and balconies for the extra money. Very nice views. Staff was pretty good. I booked it because the price was very low for what you got. I'd stay again if the prices were good.

Carpets dirty, no service at all, no coffee in room(even in chip motels it is coffee), Cafeteria on the first floor smells like in 70 Th, Not good, would not recommend!!!!!

Love the location right on the beach! Pool and beach area nice and clean. The hotel is old and some things like furniture in the lobby could be in better shape. We had a room on the 11th floor and it was nice and clean. Within walking distance there's quite a few shops and a supermarket, Starbucks and some restaurants. Room has a fridge and microwave […] if you feel like self-catering. Bus to South Beach and Aventura Mall is right outside the hotel making it easy to move around without a car. Hotel is nice for families, this is a quiet area. I liked it and will most likely return to this hotel on my next visit. Les mer

The best thing about this hotel is the location - beachfront. But beyond that; it's a very ordinary hotel. The elevators were slow, and there always seemed to be a crowd waiting. The rooms itself was supposedly recently remodeled, but the bathroom floor had dark stains in a few spots, and the tile around the bathtub/shower had what looked like dark […] red stains in some areas. On two occasions, housekeeping had forgotten fresh facecloths. The hotel lobby always seemed crowded lending a somewhat hectic, chaotic atmosphere. On the pooldeck was a covered protected area that had brown couches that looked well past their service life. Sit on them at your own risk. ..Overall, despite the location and reasonable price, I don't think I'd go back. Les mer

I've stayed at this hotel twice now. Once in Nov and again in December. I'll start with the guest elevators not working properly throughout our stay. We were never stuck for more than an minute or so but it scared the bejeezers out of my daughters. Our room had holes in the ceiling around the light fixture. A hotel employee hit on me. That was nice […] until he started to sell me something. The service in the restaurant was somewhat rude and the breakfast buffet was overpriced for the quality of good. The Front Desk service was hit or miss. One employee was customer service oriented and was professional. One time I walked through the lobby and he started a conversation with my name. That was a nice touch. I was impressed. However another employee (upon check out) told me that a taxi ride would be the least expensive way to get to the Ft. Lauderdale airport and quoted a price. Once I arrived at the airport via taxi, I was really surprised to find out from the taxi driver that the price was DOUBLE! Les mer

After reading some bad reviews, went to the Newport, not knowing what to expect. Turned out great, hotel on the beach, good service, lively pool and bar. Not too noisy. Would go back

Hotel was good value for what we paid (great sale rate), but not worth full rate in my opinion. The traffic to and from Miami was terrible and expensive in a cab. And there was a daily "resort fee" that wasn't clearly indicated until we got there. Not really sure what the resort fee covered. It took quite a bit of time from arrival to actually get in […] the room and the next day they pressure you to attend a time share tour. The beach was nice and the room was good. Les mer

Pool was nice.Just know the pier in the picture is broken so you cannot walk out on to it. That was a disappointment to us because the pictures lead one to believe it is functional and ready for you to enjoy. Room was large, but kind of dated. I think they are in the process of updating the hotel so make sure to ask for an updated room.

If rate it by its convenience, it's incredible. Just walk down the hotel, you reach the beach.. The beach is long, nice, just a very good place to stay if you are a beach lover! Yet, dont expect much in the room! It's the oldest hotel room I have ever been.. The coach drops when you sit, the little table shake when you work on it. Towels are hard, […] not soft... Fridge isn't work. That's about what I felt during my last stay.. Les mer
