Støy fra 6 om morgenen til 11 på kvelden fra t-banen de bygger rett utenfor. Men New York er jo mye støy...Natten var stille. Sengene var så harde. Dbl sengen bare 120 bred. Men fantastisk å ha en hel leilighet i new york. Reiste med barn. Kjempegod komfort foruten de harde sengene. Moderne stil og nytt og fresht.

Fin beliggenhet, hyggelig personale. Frokosten var bra, varier veldig om det er fullt i spisesalen eller ikkes,avhenger av hva klokken er. Wifi på rommet,samt pc disponibel i fellesareal. Gratis kaffe og annen varm drikke 24/7. Hotellet har en slags turistinformasjon i lobbyen, hvor man kan få hjelp til det meste.

Ganske trivelig hotell til en fabelaktig pris. Badet var rent og pent, men tror det ble støvsuget mest på midten av det gamle teppegulvet... det lå igjen en tannpirker på gulvet ved sengen etter forrige gjest (eller han før der igjen, hva vet jeg). Lot den ligge for å se om den ble fjernet, men den lå der fremdeles da jeg dro etter en uke... måtte drepe to kakkerlakker på størrelse med et lite barn det første døgnet, men etter at jeg satte i badekarproppen forsvant problemet... helt greit hotell for den gjerrige gjest, rett ved Time's Square. Hotellrestauranten er dyr og dårlig, så jeg anbefaler å spise et annet sted.

"Staselig med flott beliggenhet"
Litt slitne møbler, men fin atmosfære og bra service. Veldig god plass, noe som er greit når man reiser med to tenåringer. Masse stash og kjøkken med kjøleskap og micro som er veldig kjekt. Det eneste som irriterte meg var en treg balkongdør. Anbefales, vi fikk en grei pris for suite med soverom. Veldig hyggelige personell som hjelper deg med alt. "Veldig fornøyd"
Lobbyen ser litt sliten ut, men rommet var helt fantastisk fint! Stor plass til kofferter og klær. Samt to store dobbeltsenger. Jeg reiste med en venninne, så vi syntes det var veldig greit med litt ekstra plass. AC bråkte, men av erfaring gjør det det på de fleste hoteller. Så ta med ørepropper til natten. Et stort pluss er taklounge/bar. Hvor du kan […] sitte ute spise frokost og nyte utsikten over manhattan- eller ta en drink på kvelden. De renoverte restauranten mens vi var der, men det gjorde ingenting da det var tre flotte restauranter i ypperste kvalitet rett ved hotellet. Anbefaler på det sterkeste at du prøver alle tre! For de som liker uteliv var det et populært utested, Nikki, som lå vegg i vegg med hotellet. Var ikke innom der selv, men så populært ut, var alltid lang kø utenfor. The Kimberly was a true pleasure. Everyone from the bellman to the manager at the desk was so kind. We stayed during a quiet time on a snowy weekend in January. The manager upgraded our two rooms to suites. The rooms had just been upgraded and the decor was absolutely lovely. The rooms were spacious. "Kimberly Hotel"
We were upgraded, so the very friendly receptionist told us! Anyway our room were just as we expected. We had problems the first night as the A/C did not function. We had no expectations and were prepared to change room. But, our complaint were dealt with immediately. When we came back after a long day at Manhattan, everything was fixed! Were we satisfied? […] Oh yes! In general the staff were friendly. did their best to meet our requests, in particular we would like to mention the concierge on duty 31Dec 2011. We asked for her assistance several times also on earlier days. She was friendly, always on alert, giving our questions her full attention. Would we recommend the Kimberly to our friends? The Kimberley is located two blocks behind the Waldorf Astoria, an easy walk to all of mid town. The staff was extremely friendly and actually seemed eager to be of assistance. The room was sparkling clean and made up promptly. I have only good things to say. Would definately stay here again.

After waiting 2 hours for my room to be ready, I was shown into a Deluxe King room which was depressing because it was somewhat dark, and the following pieces of furniture were missing: armchair, sofa, desk, and credenza. The windows were so dirty, I could hardly see through them. The staff was very helpful and offered me an upgrade for the last 2 nights. […] The hotel seems to be renovating certain rooms from which they have removed furniture while still selling the room. this is my 3rd visit to the Kimberly and it just keeps on getting better! The staff was very helpful and when I had an problem with the alarm clock someone was up to look at it within 5 minutes of my call, even though it was close to 11 PM. This is a very good hotel.

"The Kimberly Hotel New York"
The hotel is conveniently located midtown near restaurants, shops and a short walk to 5th Ave and Central park. Although the rooms are supposed to be cleaned everyday, only towels are changed and the room is very haphazardly cleaned. So dirty cups, dead flowers and a finished cigar in an ashtray on the balcony was not cleaned, till a call was made each […] time. The furnishing is very dated and I yearned for some nice, clean lines, contemporary and uncluttered furnishings. I was promised a 1 bedroom suite with a kitchenette , instead I got a 1 bedroom suite with 2 full bathrooms!! I was 1 person staying in the room what do I need 2 full bathrooms for? I also stayed for 10 days without the promised kitchenette. It was most inconvenient. The wait for the elevators is long and the front desk is under renovation so it doesn't help with the crazy busy lobby. The roof top is very pretty with a bar and overlooking Manhattan. "Great location, but..."
We had a room that had only 2 straight back chairs and was at the front. I've never stayed in a hotel that didn't have a small sofa or a couple of easy chairs. This was not comfortable for end-of-day or pre-dinner relaxation. They told me that the "guest rooms" didn't have easy chairs for comfortable sitting. Sorry, I thought all rooms in a hotel were […] guest rooms. Also, being a the front overlooking the street - we heard sirens from police cars all night. Poor glazing on the windows? Apparently there is a police station nearby. I did complain about comfort sitting and the sound and in the end they changed us to a luxury suite which was comfortable, quiet and extremely nice. Don't stay in this hotel in their basic room (guest room) if you need to put your feet up. Also, sink didn't drain and outlet for the coffee pot was not working. I put the pot on the floor to plug it in somewhere else. Bathroom tiny - the cord that lights the mirror had to be stretched on a diagonal across the lid of the toilet to plug in. Their "basic" is very basic. Pick a better room if you stay here. One big plus for us - we drove and a parking garage is directly across the street. Les mer

I have stayed in New York City five times within the last 4 Years and I will say The Kimberly was the nicest hotel we have stayed in. Our next trip to NYC I will be staying at The Kimberly.
The suite was very spacious and decorated nicely. Very comfortable for a family of 4. Staff was attentive. The diner next door was very convenient. I would definitely go back.

The rooms were comfortable and the location was convenient, but there was no free wi-fi, the bathroom was cramped and had no counterspace, the airconditioning couldn't keep up with the heat and the maid who brought us ice was rude and disgruntled. Be sure to ask for room off street side! Terribly noisy all night. Sleeper sofa for extra person very uncomfortable and needs a foam topper. Otherwise a good hotel stay.
"One night stay"
My family and i stayed at the Kimberly for a night and the girls loved the room. They are eight and hotels are trheir thing. The doormen are great and the concierge very knowledgeable. Great stay at a great hotel. When I can afford it again and I'm in NYC it is my choice.

"Kimberly Hotel NYC-great if traveling with kids"
The Kimerbly Hotel in New York City is right in the heart of mid town Manhattan on E. 50th x Lexington. It offers very large rooms and suites, with kitchenettes and decks. I travel to New York City on business twice a year, generally stay at least 4-5 days and always stay at the Kimberly when I bring along my family. We also enjoy the gratis health […] club priviledges. In the suites, the bedrooms are separated from the living room/kitchen and the unit is actually better then two separate hotel rooms -more like a one bedroom apartment. Our suite had three very large closets as well. The beds are very comfortable with feather pillows and good matresses and bedding. The hotel itself is very quiet, especially on the higher floors, and even in the rooms facing the street. The sofa bed in the living room was fairly uncomfortable, but there is more than enough space for a roll away in the living room and those are more comfortable. The one bathroom in the suite is small and could use remodeling, but there is lots of storage space in the bathroom and great water pressure. The Hotel, although very comfortable and clean, is a little tired. The electric outlet in the bathroom was temperamental, and the televisons were old and not that great. Some of the rooms have been refurbished, and they plan to refurbish all the rooms eventually. Our room was next in line to be upgraded. The service is also very good. Every special request we made, was instantly met. The roof top bar is also fun and interesting, although on some nights (Thursdays and weekends) it was filled with 20 somethings and very noisy. "The Kimberly Suite Hotel-excellent stay!"
The location of this hotel was perfect! Walking distance to Rockefeller plaza, central park, Times Square and the Chrysler building. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! We stayed in the deluxe suite and it was perfect! It had a kitchenette, separate living room area and the king size bedroom was very comfortable. At first I wasn't too sure about staying in midtown but once we arrived we were glad we did. It is in a much quieter area, but still convenient to everything. There is a great little deli next door and plenty of pubs within a couple of blocks. But now for the truth about the stay. The room was incredibly spacious and clean. The elevators were down the […] first night but the hotel management more than made up in gesture. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. It is the first time in a long time I have stopped by the lobby after checking out to shake the staff's hand and say thank you for the hospitality. The Kimberly Hotel is located in an area convenient for business and leisure. The rooms are well appointed. I travel frequently and the Kimberly offered one of the most comfortable hotel stays I've experienced in years.

"Close to the U.N."
We were only there one night but the staff treated us like long stays. Valet parking was a plus and very affordable. Very beautiful room with comfortable beds with lots of pillows and nice linens and lovely duvet cover. Left the cable to my digital camera behind. I called housekeeping the next day and they mailed it to me.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were amazing- They were friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped. The only complaint we had was the hide a bed needs replacement. Other than that we were very happy.

I have stayed at the Kimberly a few times now. This is the first time the hotel struck me as a little run-down. A handle from the shower had come off and was resting on the edge of the bath, and the toilet paper holder was broken. The toilet paper issue is trivial, but hey, how difficult can it be to keep that maintained properly? I didn't realize the […] shower handle would be an issue until I took a shower & had trouble getting the handle to work at all. Eventually succeeded, but was getting a little nervous, esp. as I had to get to work and this was a delay. I like the hotel - and like the spacious rooms/suites and it is generally clean. But I will keep an eye on the maintenance issue in the future. I told the staff about the issues on the way out. Hoping that the room condition is better next time. Les mer
