Advantage Vacation Homes - Kissimmee

I was told that I would have a 4 bedroom upgraded private pool home, however when I arrived the house was old, run down comforters on the bed, and looked like someone's personal home that they rented for the weekend. A Mess!!!!

The reservation process us pricy but smooth. A couple of day before the check-in date I was called and told that the house was not available and I had to downgrade to another house. I did not agree, then they told me that there was a "cleaning charge" that had to be paid in advance. The stay was fine even though we did not expend much time in the house […] (went to all the parks), when we wanted to use the pool we were told that we did not pay to warm-up the pool, so we did not use it. At check-out, we were abruptly thrown away by some people that presented themselves as the owners of the house. Finally, my credit card was charged another $100.00 unauthorized three days later. This was an ok hotel. A good bargain for the cost. A room, a stone throw from the beach which across the street, with bkfast. I that is what you have in mind, this is your place. If you r looking for a place with a view and spa look somewhere else. I have to say the staff was quite friendly and helpful.

The vacation home was located not in a very good area , the home we stayed in was dirty the towels smelled bad and the pillows that were left in the closet were discussting . The pool located in the home was dirty n the fence around the home was broken. It was the worst experience I've had staying in a vacation home.

The place was great easy access to malls, parks, restaurants and everything! my family love it the rooms were really nice and on top of it mmine had a hot tub!!! the other rooms really comfortable, the pool was brutally nice!! I'm already planning my next summer vacation and I will use the same house if possible. We got satellite, wifi and everything […] we needed!!! Before booking please confirm with the advantage homes directly because the pictures shown are not what's available to you. They show you the best properties they offer and when you arrive its a total different situation. Even the main business office that hotels.com shows for this property is a lie. The main office is in a old shabby building and the […] staff was nice but lacked professionalism. There were also hidden fees which hotels.com do not inform you of like the and additonal $75 dollar cleaning fee and also a $300 hold on your credit card which you can't access until after your vacation. We try and vacation and have a good time but also budget as well so by them adding the hidden fees and holding $300 on my card we had to eliminate alot of the plans we had for our family because that was the money we planned to use for our leisure during our stay! Very disappointed and I will never use hotels.com for a vacation rental property AGAIN!! Maybe that's why its called HOTELS.COM! A very painful and disappointing lesson learned............ Les mer

With the exception of the cleaning lady striping the bed from under my tired body at 10am when I thought check out was noon it was perfect.

We ended up with a very nice home but that was after we spent one night at a different home. The first home had a broken refridgerator, air conditioning but was very pretty. We called about the problems and were moved the next day. They told us that they had many similiar complaints about the original location. My question is, "why did you put us there?" […] The move was not easy. We had 8 people with us and had already unpacked everything for the week. The second home's air conditioning was also not working well. We are from Texas, so we know a little bit about what to look at. We open up the filters and they had not been changed in a least 6 months. They were so filled they were bent in half. Maintenance needs to be better on these homes. Les mer

Fully furnished including kitchen, private pool, very clean home. Quiet neighborhood. Close to Disney parks. Our stay here was much more enjoyable than cramped in a one room hotel. Convenience of having full kitchen and laundry facilty a huge plus. Highly recommend.

Our House had alot of space for the money. We had access to the pool from the living room, family room, and the master bedroom. The pool was clean and a nice size for the family. The kitchen had an ample amount of space to cook, and store food. It would have been nice if trash bags, and toliet paper were provided. We had a full size washer and dryer […] which was very nice. The only thing that concerned me was I feel the pool cleaner should have knocked on the front door before going to the back yard to cleaning the pool. Les mer

This was my second come that I rented from hotels.com. However, the first was great. This come was pretty. However, I did not expect to seee Christmas decoration all through the house in the month of June. Next, the pool was not clean. It was indicated that it had been service. However, it was not. I did call the leasing office and was told someone […] would come out the next day. They never came out. The pool was too filty for anyone to get it. I had three children and 6 adults. The worst thing was the air conditioner. I had to have manintance come out twice to fix it. It took up alot of time out of our vacation to have to deal with it. The maintance crew was nice I have to say, but the expense that I had to deal with was not a pleasant one. My family got tired of coming back to a HOT HOUSE! Les mer

The house was absolutely gorgeous. It exceeded my expectation. It was exactly what I ask for. My only complaint was the unexpected $250.00 security deposit due at check-in and refundable until 14-28 days after check-out.

Our stay in this vacation home was particularly comfortable and enjoyable. One thing to consider however is that your mileage may vary based on the owner of the home. Each of these vacation homes has an owner and the Advantage Vacation Homes company simply rents them out when that owner is not using it. Unfortunately I can't give this hotel top ratings because of all the extra charges I ended up paying. After it was all said and done I ended up paying double the list price. First the taxes and surcharges are higher for this location because it is a vacation home, so expect to pay approximately 50% more than listed after those are included... then there is a hefty "clean up" fee I had to pay and further to that a deposit in the hundreds of dollars range (sorry, specific rates not allowed per the review rules). That deposit still has not been credited to my account a few days after my vacation. When you are checking in there is a form you fill out with multiple options like insurance/etc. Be careful what you choose because each option will add on to the price of your stay, you could essentially end up paying 3-4x list price for a couple nights stay... Yo he viajado varias veces a Orlando con motivo de vacaciones, y lamentablemente mi estadía en Advantage Vacation Homes ha sido mi experiencia menos agradable que he tenido debido a los motivos que voy a describir a continuación: - La cerca de madera que rodea la casa estaba rota en algunas partes. - Mientras estábamos nadando en la piscina, entraron […] personas desconocidas al área de la piscina sin aviso alguno; resultó ser personal de mantenimiento del hotel que comenzó a arreglar la cerca de la casa. Más tarde, cuando fuimos a quejarnos a la oficina principal de Advantage Vacation Homes, personal del hotel nos informó que ellos suelen hacer este tipo de reparaciones mientras los huespedes están hospedados en la casa; algo que nos pareció muy incómodo e inapropiado. - Algunos colchones de las camas estaban muy viejos, se sentían los resortes y era muy incómodo para dormir. - La casa que me asignaron estaba ubicada muy lejos de la Oficina Central (la misma que muestran en el mapa en la página web); esta casa estaba a unos 10 minutos en auto, hacia el lado contrario de Disney. - En la descripción de la casa decía que había un sofá-cama, pero no hubo. - Muchas de las persianas de las ventanas de la casa estaban dañadas y no funcionaban. - Dentro de la casa encontramos un par de cucarachas. Dejligt privatejet hus på alm. villavej. Alt var superpænt og velholdt. Havde valgt hus med tre soveværelser. Dejligt med egen pool, hvor hele terrassen og pool var overdækket med stort myggenet. Kan helt klart anbefales.
