HYATT house Scottsdale/Old Town - Scottsdale

We really enjoyed our stay, but were in the back towards a large parking lot/dance club. We could here people fighting, screaming and partying all night long. Even tho this wasn't ideal, we loved your place and would place to stay again, but next time request a room that isn't in the back. :)

need softer towels, feel like they are starched

This was a really good hotel and a good value. Only complaint was that the "hot" food on the breakfast buffet was barely lukewarm.

This Hyatt had everything we were looking for and more. We had only made reservations for one night as we wanted a place to lay our heads while we celebrated a birthday. To our surprise the room was large, full size bed (King), walk in closet, shower only no tub, which was not a problem. Living room with flat screen TV, sectional sofa, chair, coffee […] table. This was just like renting an efficently apartment with more room. The kitchen had a full size refrigerator, stove, cabinets which were fully stocked with dishes, coffee maker etc. Hyatt Summerfield which I believe has changed it's name is a great place to stay, walking distance to Old Towne and less than a 5 minute drive to Fashion Square. We did not stay for breakfast, ventured out and ate at Lo-Lo's had dinner at the Italian Grotto and was thoroughly satisfied with both places. The price of the hotel was well within our budget and well worth every penny. Les mer

We chose this hotel to celebrate an anniversary. It was centrally located, only blocks to 5th Avenue Shops, Old Town Scottsdale (including the Farmer's Market), and much more. The hotel was quiet, breakfast was good and plentiful. The room was clean, well stocked, and had lots of nice amenities. I did enjoy my stay. Everything was convenient. I would recommend it to everyone...I had a great experience.

Not a bad little spot. Friendly, clean. Parking right outside the room.

I stayed here after a night of partying in Scottsdale. It is a perfect location for that, but remember that if you get in before 2am you will hear the loud music from the clubs nearby. Looking for a quiet place? This isn't it. Looking for a great location for Old Town partying? Look no further for you have found it.

Very comfortable, large room, clean, walking distance to Old Town & great restaurants, safe neighborhood, although there was a bar next door where people were partying on an outdoor balcony. Excellent breakfast & staff was very friendly & helpful. We liked this place so much we cancelled a stay at another hotel so that we could come back here.

Nice pool just big enough for lap swimming and decent buffet breakfast complemented the room. Think hotel primarily used for longer stays but they were very pleasant re restaurant recommendations etc. for our one night stay at a quite reasonable rate considering the location close to downtown.

Very spacious. Stayed in a 2 room suite and had more than enough room to enjoy my stay. Also made cooking in the morning enjoyable!

We will definitely keep this hotel on the must stay again list when in Phoenix. Perfect for families. The split double king bedrooms provided privacy and the middle lounge/kitchen gave us all room to relax. Pool nice and breakfast exceeded expectations!

We only stayed one night but it was a great one. The hotel and luxuries were so beautiful and the breakfast buffet was divine. It was probably the best hotel stay we've ever had. Thank you so much for being so wonderful!

Stayed at this hotel for one night with my family of three. The room was very clean, bed and couch were comfortable, good shower/plumbing. We really enjoyed the hot breakfast! Convenient parking. ONLY ISSUE: no elevators, so you'll have to walk up the stairs to the third floor. But overall, very happy.

The hotel is decent and in a good location. Definitely clean, and seemed well-maintained. Didn't have any serious problems with the hotel. In fact, we didn't even need to do anything about the guests next to us playing loud techno music at 2am because the climate-control system was loud enough to drown it out. Ahh, blessed white noise. If I had to […] guess, I think the hotel put in "amenities" just to pump up its star rating. For instance, they have a "bar", if you count the open area where they could theoretically serve some wine. They have a "convenience store", but it's really just the single front desk clerk who also staffs the "store", which is nothing more than a fridge full of stuff for sale. I only point this out because, if you are thinking that you are getting a deal given the price vs. star rating, you might be disappointed. You are pretty much getting what you pay for here, which it's hard to complain about, but again, it's all about expectations. The hotel has great marketing material. Les mer

I gave this hotel an overall rating of 4 out of possible 5. We stayed two nights and did not receive any maid service after the first night. Only other issue was that the hot food at the morning breakfast buffet was barely luke warm. There was a very good selection, and it tasted fine, just not very warm. We ate late one morning and early the next […] so it was not a case of simply not having a chance to get warm once put out for consumption. Staff was quite courteous and helpful. This hotel is in a great location. Great little walk to Fashion Square mall & Old Town Scottsdale. The only issue I have is that I am a HYATT Gold member and when I booked through Hotels.com, I do not receive credit to my account.

Our stay was great. Really family friendly. Their breakfast was great beds were really comfy and the rooms were spotless. Highly recommend.

This hotel has suites that have great kitchens. Having a full size refrigerator is a real plus for feeding larger families. The room was spacious, recently renovated and clean. The WiFi worked perfectly and was easy to access. The flat screen High Definition TV's were a real plus. I would stay there again when traveling to Scottsdale.

If you are staying in Scottsdale, this is a great hotel to stay at. The front desk staff is very nice and accomodating. The location is excellent, lots of restraunt and bars within walking distance. We had 5 people in a suite and it was very roomy and comfortable. The pool was clean and stocked with towels and lots of chairs. I would definitely stay […] here again if I am ever in the area. If your traveling with a group of 4 or more you cannot beat this Hotel for price and location. Outstanding after 4 stays. Great Security in Scottsdale.

This hotel is conveniently located and within walking distance to most amenities. Would definitely stay there again and, the hotel is undergoing renovations which is another plus. This hotel was underconstruction!!! I stay at Hyatt often. We were not notified this hotel was under construction before arriving. Upon arrival, parking was limited due to construction (construction bins in our parking area, we had to walk a ways to get to room), we had a bathroom vanity right outside our doorway in a box, We were awakened with a forklift […] at 7am on a Sunday morning and workers yelling at eachother. This was not a fun stay. We also had several men staying upstairs smoking weed! Adding all of this up, made our stay and my guests unhappy! Les mer

We were very pleased with the location of the hotel but thats where my satisfaction ended. When we arrived there were only 2 towels in the bathroom so I called for more and we never received them. The next morning I called again and it took them over 20 minutes to get us the towels. When we returned to the hotel that evening we found our hotel room […] wasn't cleaned at all. We called the front desk and they informed us they didn't know why our room was missed but they couldnt clean our room because they don't have anyone at night to do it. We asked them to at least bring us new towels and sheets and we could change them ourselves, they didn't do that either. When we called back again that night the night manager were extremely rude and not willing to help us at all. Overall it was a very disappointing stay due to the lack of customer service we received at every corner. Les mer

Great room in a wonderfully maintained hotel in a terrific location. We enjoyed the pool, the complimentary breakfasts, the spacious room and the courteous and helpful staff. Definitely would stay there again if in the Phoenix area.

everything is acurate from the information i've read, the service, the space and most importantly that confor. this hotel is perfect for every body. i highlsy recoment this hotel to everyone no matter how long you will be staying in.

I wasn't looking forward to my trip to Scottsdale in the Summer, but my stay at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites made it tolerable, if not enjoyable. The AC worked great, the kitchen was a Godsend when we didn't want to venture out into the 112 heat and the complementary breakfasts and evening socials were well planned and presented, with plenty of food […] options. Easy walking distance to Old Town shops lots of nite-life and the Mall was a plus as well. Les mer

Hotel was newer and was in great condition. Pool was great, staff was friendly and willing to help with area attractions. The location was great for old town Scottsdale and an easy walk to most locations. We would stay again!

Hotel was better than expected, could not ask for better location. Walking distance to all major shopping and dining. Breakfast was good, however could of changed up meals a bit more or added more choices. Room was clean, only downside would be sofa bed average quality for fourth golf guy to sleep on. We had two rooms, a single King for my wife and I and the two bedroom Trio for our 3 adult children. We were all very impressed with our stay. The hotel staff was polite, the buffet breakfast was more than adequate and the environment was peaceful and quiet. We will definitely stay here again on any future visits to the Phoenix/Scottsdale are.

I was extremely satisfied with my hotel stay. The complimentary breakfast menu varied from day-to-day. The office and pool were easily accessible to the front desk and the pool. One minor point, a "sticking point" (so to speak) was that the front door to my suite never closed completely upon my arrival or departure. I would always have to double check […] to see if it was tightly secure. I must admit I tried this hotel for the attactive "summer rate". I would only return if there was a modest increase in the rate (as opposed to the peak rate) for the months of Sept-Oct-Nov, leading up to the Arizona peak months. Upon check-out, I spoke with the front desk personel and were receptive to speaking with me a month prior to my return to Scottsdale. No specifics rates were agreed upon. Les mer

On our first morning at this hotel, we were awakened by a gurgling toilet at 5 am. Despite 3-5 calls to the front desk, the maintenance man took 20 minutes to arrive. The results? Scrambling to save our property from getting soaked with toilet water - moving out of our room at 5:45 AM and not even an apology, rate adjustmen or a complimentary night […] stay. By the way, their delay in responding cause the 2 other rooms directly underneath us to vacate due to water damage as well. There are no elevators at this hotel abd there are 3 floors. The handrails were covered in bird excrement [poop]. Not a pleasant experience! Les mer
