Westgate Flamingo Bay at Las Vegas - Las Vegas

I love staying here. Very clean and modern - quiet - but close to things to do. My only complaint is the mattress on the fold out couch! Everything else is great!!

We loved it, it was close to the casinos but not to close. Took advantage of the shuttle bus to and from the casinos. I would highly recommend West Flamingo to family and friends.

It was a last minute, we didn't get there until late but boy were we pleasently supprised. It was extremely clean, comfortable, and accommodating. All we ask for in our hote l stays. I'll be back!

We loved it very comfortable for a family of 4 even 6. Our kids felt right at home with the small kitchen, they were able to have their favorite snacks at any time. Great customer service by all of their employees. We would for sure stay there again. I only wish they had extra curtains for those of us that need some extra sleep during vacations.

This is a hidding gem!!! Far enough from the madness of the strip. But yet still close enough to be in the mix. Almost like being at home with the full kitchen. And I LOVE the gated entry and 24 hour security........

Convienient location & ample room in the unit for 6 people. Quiet property Kitchen amenities were sparce - No serving utensils, bowls or baking dishes. Salt & pepper would have been nice.

Immaculate facilities, friendly staff, free and convenient shuttle, clean comfortable and well appointed suite, fair price, what else can you ask for?

This is an apartment style resort. The rooms has a lot of floor space. We got the two room villa which was perfect for the 6 adults we were traveling with. Not to far down the road is the Palms and the Rio casinos. You get a place setting for 4 but that just suited us just fine. You get one free coffee packet and if you want more it's a dollar a packet. […] I found this convenient for us since we weren't in the room most of the day and didn't want to buy a can of coffee and filters. Just down the road is a large food store if you wanted to cook your meals (but since we were in Vegas, that didn't happen with us - we ate out a lot). Overall I will be coming back again, it's was just too convenient and comfortable for our group. Les mer

I only use the hotel to sleep after a few crazy nights on the Vegas strip.. The rooms were really nice and clean and the hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Close to the strip without the hassles of the strip. The shuttle service was confenient and reliable. The two bedroom suite was perfect for six people. Pool and exercise room are small.

What a wonderful option for a family experience in Las Vegas. You have the luxury of a resort with a fully stocked kitchen, jacuzzi bath right in the the bedroom, Full dinning room, Queen pullout sofa, and a pool that your don't have to pay to use. Now that's a bonus for Vegas' standards. The adults were able to hang-out on the stripe and enjoy the […] night life. The family was also able to experience Vegas during the day with its many family friendly options (i.e., dinning, shopping, and live/free shows). I particularly enjoyed the option of "doing The Strip", then returning to a resort style environment away from the "HUSTLE". The outlet off Interstate 15 south is a nice option as well. Be sure to eat at the Japanese buffet near the Adidas store. The food is delicious and affordable. It was recommended by a world traveler that lives in Japan, and suggest that the food is one of the better he's had. He was right! Fantastically large sushi + options including American fares and desert all reasonably priced. The family took a day trip to Hover Dam, then the Grand Canyon (West Rim). What an experience! From the strip, the journey is a mere 1 1/2 hour to the local route to the canyons. There's a wonderful trading posts with traditional Indian relics that is so wonderfully nostalgic. What a treat! However, the local drive from the main highway to the canyons can be a little challenging because of the 15, 25, 15, speed limit that makes a possible 37 mile journey about an additional 1 1/2 hour long. Watch out for that lone officer that warns you of the speed limit because so many animals crossing the roads have been killed. Moving at 45 miles per hour, we didn't realize that the limit had changed to 15mph by the little signage obscurely positioned by the side of the road. He did allow us to continue enjoying our vacation with a signed warning. This 4 day, 3 night experience at Flamingo Bay Westgate was absolutely wonderful! After a long trip from LA to the Grand Canyon and from the GC to Vegas, all I wanted to do was relax and enjoy the rest of the vacation. This spot was perfect because I felt I was home. Very courteous staff, beautiful grounds, on-site security... This is a must-stay place if you don't mind that you are not right on the strip, yet have all the conveniences (regular shuttle service).

The condo was awesome. Beautifully furnished and totally equiped. Very comfy and made me feel at home. On thing to watch out: when check in they will try to allure you with "free" gifts for timeshare sales presentation. Just ask for your keys and leave if you don't want to waste ur time with it.

my stay was very comfortable and the staff was very friendy, always had a smile and spoke when seen or when asked to do something.

All in all, a good experience. Nice room, well landscaped grounds and very convienient to all area attractions and the airport.

Had a wonderful stay at this resort/hotel. Awesome customer service, clean, nice, room, nice full kitchen, jacuzzi tub in room was nice. Only issues were: very early checkout at 10a.m! Could not sleep in...Also walls are pretty thin, had a rowdy bunch next door and friday night and could not sleep till they went out for the night.

This stay was awesome for a low price! I also got it on short notice. Our room was like an apartment. The best part about it was the tub next to our bed! We used that every night! I have stayed at the Westgate Flamingo Bay on at least 3 occasion, beginning in NOV 2010. The rooms and grounds are always clean and well-maintained. The staff is very courteous and pleasant. It's great having a full kitchen to cut costs while visiting Vegas, as I did last week, while attending a conference. There is also on-site security and the facility […] is gated, preventing any riff-raff from wandering onto the grounds. I did have occasion to contact security due to some late night revelry going on outside my villa, which was addressed quicky and professionally. Additionally, there is the convenience of supermarkets, restaurants and gas stations, nearby. The Westgate is also closeby (about 3 miles) from the strip. Les mer

Went to Vegas for the weekend. Had 6 adults in my group. We had a 2 bedroom, top floor unit. I was nice and roomy all six had space. Master bath has a crazy big tub. @ bathrooms much needed. Fridge has ice maker. Had the pool and hot tub to ourselves the 2nd night. Shuttle service was awesome. Dropped off at the Planet Hollywood. Great place, great people, and great location. only few minutes from the strip and close to palms. Only thing wrong was we found a 2" scorpion coming out of the jacuzzi drain, which is a great jacuzzi in the master bedroom!!!

Better than I expected. Nice and spacious. Bed was good but furnace and A/C were very LOUD! Great pool,- workout room is tiny. Good peaceful place to stay close to strip, but not on it!

This was one of my all-time favorite hotels to stay in, in fact it’s not a hotel at all it is much more. From the moment that drove onto the property the place was absolutely beautiful and well keep. My accommodation was a huge condo with a full kitchen, living room, dining room, washer and dryer and much more. The front desk is truly customer service […] orientated. This is very much like the timeshare suites that cost hundreds, beautiiful room, large jacuzzi tub, separate dining and common areas.Just a few miles from the strip. Great experience, I'll stay here when I come to Las Vegas.

I had an overnight stay at this facility. Although older, I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room, which included a complete kitchen, king-sized bed---had to laugh about the mirrors on the wall behind the headboard, nice jacuzzi in the roon, as well. The facility was gated, with security personnel monitoring all access. I was able to park […] relatively close to my building and car-ports were available. There was also adequate shopping nearby to buy groceries and gas (reasonable prices for both---considering it was Vegas). It would be a great place to stay off the strip where you could cut costs by cooking a few meals. My only complaint--I had a ground unit and the people above me were up at 4 A.M. walking around wearing what sounded like horse shoes, so get an upper unit. By the way, the room price was great! The location of the hotel is grteat. Rooms are clean, very nice swimming pool and good asistance of all the staff. We rented an apartment with kitchen,tho bedrooms, chimney and nice living. Yes we recomend this hotel.

Hotel dans un cadre magnifique (palmiers fontaines, fleurs, rivière et piscine) A 5min en voiture du strip. Appartement avec 2 chambres bien séparées dont une avec spa et lit King size, l'autre avec 2 lits Queen size. Sdb avec douche et WC pour chaque chambre. 3 télévisions. Grand séjour tout équipé et cuisine également équipé (lave-vaisselle, etc , […] tout en grand, normal c'est ça les states) Caché dans un placard Une grande machine à laver et un seche linge. Une dose de lessive offerte. A signaler : petit déjeuner gratuit dans une grande salle à coté de la réception (à partir de 8h00). Le plus belle hotel de notre circuit. Les mer

Estuvimos comodamente instalados en un condominio ideal para quienes quieren descansar despues del paseo y desveladas de Las Vegas, este cuenta con todo lo que necesitas. Los inconvenientes son para nuestro gusto el area de la alberca. podria estar mas atractiva. El paquete de bienvenida que se nos ofrecio con cupones no era apropiado para nuestras […] necesidades ya que ivamos con menores de 21 y eso lo saben a la hora de que se reserva, en ese detalle pueden mejorar tambien adaptandolo para que en realidad lo usen sus huespedes. A nosotros no se nos dio el servicio de limpieza ningun dia de los que estuvimos (cambio de toallas o sabanas, limpiar pisos) pero no sabemos si tienen costo adicional. Les mer

Sehr schön ausgestattete Zimmer:wie ein kleine Wohnung. Die Anlage ist eine grüne, ruhige Oase in Las Vegas mit einem Pool. Leider hat es mit dem Shuttlebus nicht so geklappt, so dass wir dann doch mit dem Auto fahren mußten. Leider gab es auch kein Frühstück. Gleich bei unserer Ankunft wurden uns an der Rezeption gratis Musical Karten angeboten. Die Anlage liegt etwas abseits und dadurch wunderschön ruhig; mit einem hoteleigenen Shuttelbus erreicht man den Strip in wenigen Minuten. Sehr gepflegte Anlage, in der man den Aufenthalt - besonders nach einer anstrengenden Rundreise - genießen kann. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Eine echte Alternative zu den Motelburgen am Strip.
