Hotellet var meget bra til å være 21/2 stjerne, med en enkel grei frokost inkludert i prisen. Stort godt rom i 2. etg. med romslig king size seng for 2 personer. Vennlige, hjelpsomme og hyggelig betjening. Litt avstand til sentrum - ca 2-3blocks, men for en som er vant til å ta en spassertur, var det helt greit. Føltes trygt å gå. Taxi kostet ca $4-5 hver veg til sentrum. Kan absolutt anbefale stedet. Ellen-M

They need to remake their maps for this resort. Things are really not where they say they are on the maps. It was a great place with great pools just not that easy to find them for the first time.

If you plan to stay here because the price is right - buyer beware. Our room was so very small, you could barely move around in the "studio." The layout was horrible. The appliances and cabinets were really cheap and it felt very unclean. When we went to check-in, the front desk staff was clueless. The woman actually told us we have the "cheapest and […] smallest room." That set the tone. When they finally gave us a room, it was dirty and somebody was still staying there. The first room they tried to give us was right across the hall from the Ski service so it was loud. There was no way we could have slept through all of the noise. It would be very tough for a family of 4 to stay in a "studio." You would be on top of each other. When asking questions of the staff they were rude and not helpful at all. Perhaps the only bright spot was the pool area. The staff there was friendly and they had lots of activities for kids. Les mer

The westgate has a fab location on the mountain and wonderful pool and work out facilities but service is geared to condo owners: not hotel guests. We waited 45 minutes in the hallway for our room to be cleaned upon arrival (hours after check in) The building is a confusing maze. We saw more people lost and frustrated, looking for their rooms. From a business traveler's standpoint, the facility is a bit too widespread... Getting to and from locations around the property is a bit of a hassle swapping elevators and walking stairs... The only problem we had was that someone else was in our room when we got to it. The front desk was very nice and quickly found us another identical room. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. There weren't any parking spots in the garage so we had to park in a separate outdoor lot, but it was okay. The room was perfectly clean with very […] high-end details--granite, stainless steel, rain shower-head, two flat-screen tvs. Pool and hot tub were very big and nice, but should have stayed open later (closed at ten). "Nice looking rooms, but the worst Customer Service"
The rooms were nice rooms and should be for the price, But, the parking garage was awful, the washer/dryer didn't work, the ice maker didn't work, you couldn't order anything from their Pizza Hut after 8pm (use the one in Park CIty, they were better, faster and better menu), can't check in until 4pm, even though the rooms are ready, have to check out […] at 10am (there will be someone at your door at 10am with a clipboard telling you to get out), the people who work there complain about guests (a bell hop, spoke about guests in the winter being demanding and act like they are owed something), all employees feel put out, they don't smile, they are rude, and you should just go to the hotels next door. We visited those and just visiting them we received more service than the hotel I paid for. Beware of this place and when you stay there and things like this happen to you, don't say you weren't warned. Good luck. Les mer

The Facilities were top notch, absolutely beautiful. Rooms have all new furniture, TV's, pool was large with covered and open. THe staff seemed a bit understaffed. Often would have to wait in line for check in and check out.

Parking was bad, Bed was really uncomfortable and the check out time is 10:00 am and they won't extend for a later checkout time. I would not recommend this hotel.
"Bad service"
My wife and I spent 1 night at this location for our first Anniversary. We were excited to stay at a resort hotel but shortly after arriving, we realized that it wasn't going to go well. Check-in went smoothly but when I asked where we need to park, we were told to park clear on the other side of the resort from our room. We were told this a couple […] times from the same person. Took us 30 minutes to get to our room after checking in because they kept pointing us in the wrong direction. We later on just figured out on our own what the nearest parking was. After getting to our room, we open the door and the room was TINY. Smaller than a regular hotel room for sure. We go lay our stuff down by the bed and very quickly realize that this room has a Queen bed and not a King that we had booked. We called down to the front desk and asked them about it and they told us that all rooms in that building have Kings. This bed was most certainly a queen. So we went down to the front desk to talk to someone in person and talked to the same person that checked us in. We told him the situation and basically their response was that there was nothing they could do. We politely explained that we had booked a room with a king bed and their response was once again that there was nothing they could do. This became very frustrating that they were not willing to do anything to remedy the situation. We weren't looking for anything free or anything like that and were very kind while talking to them. We just wanted the room that we booked that should have had a King bed. In the end, they gave us a comment card to complain on if we wanted which we didn't fill out because it would make no difference and would just be a waste of time. We ended up just going back to our room and tried to make the best of this tiny room we had. In the morning, we were getting ready to be out by the already early 10:00am checkout time and an employee knocked on our door at 9:00am asking us when we would be out by. The Les mer
"Fun Getaway for the family"
We had a fabulous time at this hotel. The facilities were nice and the staff was friendly. The only problem was the 10:00 a.m. check-out time. That does not give you much time to sleep in especially on a Sunday morning.
I read the comments when I booked and disregarded a lot of the comments about service. The rooms were great but when we checked in it took them 45 minutes to get us in a room. The front desk manager was busy on the phones and when she was off she complained about spending her weekend dealing with the complaints. They gave us our keys but never did check […] us in so we could not use the internet until the next day. I then went to see if I could stay and extra night and they told me no. They did not look at my room or ask my name, There were several rooms available on line but they told me they were sold out. On the day we checked out we got a knock on our door at 9:55 am (check out is 10 am). The maid then told me that I had to leave right then. I did not believe the review when I read it but my husband and I laughed when it happened to us. Les mer

The Resort was Great. But being that was our destination not just our hotel for the night , not being able to check in until 4:00 p.m. and having to check out by 10:00 a.m. the next morning was not acceptable. I probably wouldn't choose to go there again because it was to rushed and not enough time for the money you are putting out to be there!

"Great ski in/ski out for Canyons"
This hotel has a lot of potential if the stafff has any sort of customer service. We have stayed there for the past few years. My kids love the indoor pool after a day of skiing. However the service was less than desirable this year. If you are not an owner of a place there they all but ignore you.

"Westage Tight Suites and Requires Some Maintnance"
The Westage could be very good for families with its game room, pool area and proximity to skiing. Parking is excellent. However, the "B Suite" King rooms with pullout couch and kitchenette rooms (versus "A Suites") were the smallest and tightest we have seen in years -- no room to even place luggage or ski gear and the older buildings rooms require […] some maintenance. Cannot recommend unless you are willing to pay much more more for "A Suite." Les mer
"Hit and miss"
Our first stay was pleasant enough. The restaurant was out of chicken though, so we left for one in town. Our second stay would've been fine if they wouldn't have pestered us 3 times to try and get a welcome packet to us, which they never did.

"small and overpriced, but good for a ski vacation"
pros: great for skiing at the canyons. fresh chocolate chip cookies in the lobby! the steam shower was awesome. cons: the linens were so cheap and starched they felt more like paper than fabric! the studio suite was efficient, but very cramped if you're using the fold-out sofa. we had to walk a loooong way through confusing hallways to get to our room […] from the parking garage. no free internet, even in the lobby. Our room was a lot smaller than we expected and the floor wasn't very clean. the tile had pieces of gravel and dust all over it! The dishwaasher was so loud that we couldn't here each other talk. The DVD player wasn't connected and my husband had to connect it to the tv and adjust it to work. The dishes were so high up in a cupboard that we needed to […] climb on a counter to get them down. The bathroom wall had a lot of dirt on it and really needed a good deep clean. The sheets were clean to at a glance but as we pulled the blankets all the way down there was a stain on the fitted sheet that could only be explained as black grease! Not happy! Les mer

"Westgate hotel park city Utah"
Checkout is1000 am no late check out available!! It wasn't even full. House keepers knocking on the door at 955 am!!! No free transportation from downtown to hotel after 1030 pm.. Bad service!!!
The hotel was excellent. Unfortunately we got there very late due to traffic and had to leave early the next morning so we did not get to enjoy anything at the hotel. I would definitely go back. Parking and getting to your room was difficult.
"Home away from home"
I took my finance here for a surprise to just have a little getaway weekend. We were both really impressed with the room and the resort. It really fit our needs. The room was cozy and even had a kitchen. The staff here was awesome! We will definately be coming up there again!

Stayed in a grand suite - a nice room. Front desk did not remember to remove down and feathers from the room as I requested and were accusatory of me when I got to the room and had to call and ask again. Put us in very nice suite right next to family with many kids that were exceptionally noisy - could hear them as we got off elevator and down the hall, […] as well as through our lock off door. Was told by the front desk, "Well it isn't our fault that the people next to you are noisy." As I paid for the room as a birthday getaway for my husband (and was paying a sitter for 48 hours of child care) I didn't think that I needed to listen to other people's kids in my room. The treatment that I rec'd from the desk staff was very upsetting to me. The room was comfortable and spacious. Housekeeping did not replenish toiletries and our clean, brand new room had used shampoo and lotions, etc. I like the hotel, but would think twice about staying there after our three interactions with the rude staff. "Great Place"
I wish we were there longer than a day. We had tons of room and the grounds were amazing. We could not figure out how to work the steam shower so the Maintenance came up and showed us. Everyone there was extreamly helpful. Loved it.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very small...so don't expect a very large room unless you get one with several rooms..those looked very nice with full kitchens, etc. Ours had a small kitchen with a table that folded out of the wall. I would imagine it to be absolutely beautiful in the winter! We had an awesome view of the mountain and the pool...we […] stayed in July. The spa is really nice and lots of fun. I liked the adult only sauna, hottub and relaxation pool..I could never find the indoor/outdoor pool, but I also went to the outdoor hot tub and pool...it is only 3' deep, but it was nice. I love the coloring and the beauty of it all. It was a relaxing weekend...my husband thought the bed was way too hard, but the pillows (we agreed) we great and it was very clean. Our DVD player stopped working, and it took a while for an engineer to come up and fix it, but they did and it worked out. We were celebrating our anniversary. Oh the shower had a steam shower and 2 heads, and it was beautiful, but small bathroom overall. No tub. Les mer

Great Place to stay! One suggestion though: There are 3 lodges/buildings to stay in. Our room was nice, but a little awkward on the set up. I'd suggest that you upgrade to the larger room or request the smaller room in the Bison or Bear Lodges. The hotel is well worth staying at though. "Beautiful and helpful staff"
This hotel is close to so many attractions and beautiful drives in the mountains. The hotel staff was very accommodating and gave great dinner and venue recommendations complete with coupons for eating establishments from the local paper.

Great place, awesome rooms,- my only complaint is that the vents in the Master Bedroom blow on you all night while you are trying to sleep and there is no way to turn them off. It makes the air very dry and uncomfortable. Also, the sheets are very stiff and starchy.

It was a beautiful location just below the Canyon Resort Skit Resort. I would have liked to have had Complimentary Wireless Service. I would think with the price of the room that would have been included.

Our room was awesome, with a great full-size modern kitchen, steam shower, comfortable king bed, and a full-size jacuzzi in view of the flat screen near the bed. "Free breakfast buffet" turned-out to be a voucher for one of three menu items. The food was great, but there wasn't much of it (I'm pregnant, so my huge appetite could have been the problem).
