Store rene og flotte rom med god temperatur. Døgnåpen informasjonensdesk med veldig god service. God beliggenhet med gåavstand, samt taxi tilgjengelig til enhver tid. Lekker frokostbuffet! Spesielt godt fornøyd med lobby og barområdet hvor vi kunne samles et par timer på kvelden før vi gikk til hvert vårt rom!:):)

Hotellet lå svært sentralt, bare 150 meter fra Sheaperds Bush stasjonen, som ligger på Central line (den røde undergrunnen). Ved stasjonen ligger også Westfield, et stort, nytt handlesenter. Jeg hadde bestillt rom med to enkelsenger og da de ikke hadde det, fikk jeg oppgradering til et rom med kingsize seng. Rommet var stort og flott, nydelige badehåndklær og badekåper.

We stayed at the Sofitel London St. James the weekend of the Royal wedding (timing just worked out that way after a 2 week cruise). The hotel was fabulous. From the moment we arrived we felt like VIPs. The customer service was phenomenal. The manager, front desk staff, bell staff and bar staff all made us feel extra special and went out of their way […] to make sure we were well taken care of. Some local friends of ours met us at the bar for pre-dinner drinks and commented on the excelent service. The room was a good size and quiet. The hotel location was superb for tourist attractions and West End shows. We will defintely stay at this Sofitel again. Les mer
"Going the extra mile"
Their was a bit of a mixup with our room. This was brought to the attention of the Asst. FO Mananger who promptly corrected thhe mistake and when he found out it was our 20th anniverary provided us with a excellent complimentary bottle of bubbly. The location was great the hotel was immaculate and the service was terrific. the concierge was very helpful […] with his recomendation and securing a reservation at a top sea food restaurent . We stayed in the Sofitel St James for 3 nights. We had asked for a quiet room which we got and the doors are the quietest in any hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff are all delightful, and Louise in the bar was particularly friendly and helpful. The spa and the gym are both good. The expresso machine in your room on request is a realy nice touch. Excellent location close to 2 min walk from Picadilly & Trafalger Square. The staff were couteous and friendly and the hotel was very well maintained and decorated. I would like to stay here again and would recommend it to any body else.

I was without my husband visiting a business friend. As soon as I entered my room, I said I couldn't wait to come back with my husband. The staff was super...the room was luxurious....any help needed was there....and the gym was SUPER!! Didn't get to use the spa, but it was gorgeous and I hope the next time! Extremely quiet and luxuriously comfortable! […] If anywhere in your price range, I HIGHLY recommend!!!! I thoroughly recomend this hotel- it exceeded our expectations in every way. Location was great very close to Regent St, Oxford St and all the shows. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the concierge were excellent! Our room was small but most of London! is! This hotel was wonderful! The rooms are very well decorated and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and recommended great restaurants in the area. We never had to use the underground, we felt that we were close enough to all the major sites and walked. I would highly recommend this hotel!
The softies St. James, London, is so ideally located specially to West End. The bed is the best in all the 5 stars I have stayed.

Excellent hotel and the staff were extremely helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable - especially the beds. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel but it I had to complain about anything it would be that the room was to have a street view but I was actually looking into a small and dark inner courtyard.

Everybody works hard to ensure you're getting what you need and what you want. The location couldn't be better, and I've stayed in various neighborhoods. I was in transit for a few days and walked just about everywhere. Lots of restaurants nearby, of all ranges. Free internet, always a plus. Absolutely lovely staff. And frankly, a deal. Best service ever - hands down. Terrific location in the middle of everything. Gorgeous hotel. I can't say enough great things about this gem. And while I've experience terrific service at other hotels in the past, nothing rivals the service of the Sofitel St James. As an example, my wife and I went to a Mozart symphony one evening, and happened to […] leave a symphony flyer on the bed as we left. When we came back later that evening our room had been turned down (I believe for the second time that day) and the television was turned on to a Mozart music channel. This was this first time we returned to have our TV on, so it was obviously an incredible attention to detail by the hotel staff, and not a happy coincidence. "Very good service, excellent location"
Just returned from a four night stay in the Sofitel St. James. Overall the level of service was very good. The staff was attentitive, kind, and helpful. The location is superb and within easy walking distance of Buckingham Palace, the surrounding parks, Trafalgar Square, The National Gallery, China Town, The West End, and the shopping along Regent […] and Oxford Streets. Piccadilly Circus tube station is a two minute walk from the hotel. One cautionary note. My brother was given a room across the hall from a room with several rotating body guards who constantly had their door open and glared at us every time we visited him. They had a chair stationed sideways in the entry of their room where they could straddle it and look down the hallway. The front desk thought we should be happy to have body guards around us. I am not sure if I would want to be in proximity of a person who need that much protection. Les mer

"Comfortable But a Bit Pricey"
The room we stayed in was overpriced for the decor displayed. Other than that, the bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, waterflow was very good for the shower...and important for female travelers: the hairdryer worked great!

First time staying at a Sofitel and we were very pleased. Staff was top notch. Beds were extremely comfortable. Carpet in our two rooms could stand to be replaced. All new carpet in hallways. Very clean. Even the Bartenders were wonderful and helpful. Concierge was 5 star. HD tv. Complementary internet for emails/charge for high speed. Good neighborhood.
