Imperial Hotel and Suites - Niagara Falls

The room was clean, comfortable, great view of the falls from the 10th floor. The wallpaper seems a little bland and outdated, but it was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were kind, courteous, and professional. Our room was very nice and comfortable. My only complaint was that the windows did not open and that there were no towel bars by the sink to hang up your towel and washcloths. Other than that we were very satisfied.

The hotel was somewhat outdated but our stay was quite comfortable. The location was very convenient and within walking distance to all the main sights, including both casinos. The room was clean and spacious but could use a bit of a makeover. Customer service was excellent. The Imperial Hotel & Suites" offers great value for the money. nice place to stay

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Imperial Hotel and Suites in Niagara Falls Canada. It was clean and comfortable. It was close to Clifton Hill and surrounded by many affordable food places and lots of entertainment. Golden Griddle was downstairs and the food was good. The staff were really friendly, and we were greeted warmly and sincerely. The room was basic and outdated, but quite spacious. One of the power outlets randomly stoppped working and we received electric shocks from them a couple of times. The fridge froze our carton of milk, and one of the bed matresses was sunken in the middle. The bed sheets were […] thin and scratchy, as were the pillows. I think the sink outside the bathroom is a good idea, and the lighting around the mirror is good but there are no lights at all in the ceiling, only 2 lamps so lighting isn't great in the rest of the room. I wouldn't recommend it just because there are slightly nicer hotels in the same street for roughly the same price. So you may as well book there instead. Les mer

The room was OK - barely. The fuzzy, dusty crust on the ceiling was a nice touch. My girlfriend coughed and wheezed all night. She says I'm not allowed to book rooms online anymore. Maybe if we had paid cash to upgrade the cheap online room it would have been better. What we got was a cheap online room on short notice. Emphasis on cheap. DB

This hotel was in the perfect location and was a great price, The only complaint I had was that there were smoking rooms on the same floor as the non smoking room and our room smelled like smoke. We told the front desk and they dealt with it while we were out for the evening when we came back it was fine.

Not exactly a three-star hotel. I expected more than the bare bones room we stayed in. This really didn't bother me however, since we spent most of our time enjoying the Falls. It was at checkout that I got upset. That's when they hit us for the $10 per day parking charge. At no time before checkout was a parking fee mentioned. At check in they gave […] us a parking permit. They never offered this as an option. They just said fill this out with your automobile information. Here's your permit. Naturally, we assumed parking was included with our room charge. It was not. It wasn't just us either. After we checked out, I witnessed the manager chasing another customer out the door demanding he pay the parking bill. Stay at the Howard Johnson's 2 doors down. I am originally from the Falls, so I already knew where I was staying and how busy the area is at night, That being said, the hotel room, although you could tell it was an update of an older room, was clean and spacious and had a great view. The location was excellent, I should of known better when I booked for the low price what to expect. The smell was awefull the Tv colour was pretty much gone but i did enjoy the duct tape that was on the controller holding the batteries in! My stay at the Imperial Hotel in Niagara Falls Canada was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The pool and spa were clean. There is only one complaint that I had about the room and that was they only had a few channels on the television.

we conyacted yhe hotel by email and they told us there was no vacancy on the dates we wanted. when we contacted hotel .com ther wa lots of space. the parking lot was empty all the time we were there for two days and they insisted we pay for parking even though all surrounding hotels offered free parking. we feel we were charged too much.

Quite comfortable stay, clean and pretty decent for the price. EXCELLENT location though! Would stay again in the future.

Convenient location and friendly service will ensure our return to this hotel on future visits to Niagara. The room was comfortable and best of all affordable, giving us te opportunity to do so many other things and see so many attractions because all of our money wasn't tied up in hotel fees. I would highly recommend this hotel. It's conveniently located within walking distance to the Falls, casino's and all the tourist attractions around the falls. Clean, Friendly and great Location at a reasonable cost.

My spouse and I were looking for an inexpensive weekend getaway. The hotel was discounted for the month of January and it was the cheapest with the nicest ratings. The hot tub was a bit murky but then again it was the slow season of January. The pool was nice. The staff was friendly. As long as you remember that you are not staying at the Hilton, it's […] a great little hotel at a reasonable rate. It is walking distance to the falls and Clifton Hill (where all the fun stuff is!). We were room 407 and the view was of the Ferris wheel (not too close, but a nice view) It's lit up at night which I thought was neat. The room was a nice size. I liked the full size mirror on the bathroom door. The shower was small. We were happy staying there, although, we are easy going and low-maintenance. As I said before... it's not the Hilton.... but it was a nice place to stay for a weekend away. Les mer

the staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a sitting area that made it convient and less crowded than others we have stayed in. Quite enjoyed the pool and hot tub..the kids enjoyed the game and arcade room..I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet,clean and reasonably priced hotel. The hotel was inexpensive, clean and close to Clifton Hill. The Front Desk gave us free parking as well which was $10. Indoor pool was warm and had a hot tub. The hotel may be little outdated compared to Fallsview hotels and it had an old school TV, but it had Treehouse for the kids.

We stayed there during the week on a Wednesday night, overall staff was friendly, anfd hotel room was great for the price we paid..the only thing that was not ok was the people beside us, causing a disturbance around 330 am being roudy in bed. Sure you guys are on vacation and like to be intimate, but keep the noise level down completely..maybe the […] hotel could space out people in the rooms/floors, because clearly the falls hotels are NOT busy in the winter.. We were not explained regarding the parking and they charge us for two parkings spot and we also paid for the child's breakfast. The hotel was smelling like a cigarette.

We checked into our room and then the dog barking and whining started. Best hotel staff would do is call the room or get us an inferior room. They told us that it was a pet friendly hotel. We came back after supper and another dog started barking, whinning and scratching the door. Owners went for supper and left the dog alone. We got up early and again […] the dogs started. Owners left the dogs to go to breakfast. Must have been a puppy. No problem with pets as we left our dogs at a kennel or sometimes with friends. Pet owners should respect the need for quiet and enjoyment of other hotel guests as well as the dog's needs. Les mer

Everyone that worked that day at the hotel were very nice and friendly, do anything to make your visit better. Breakfast was good it was at the golden griddle, we just had to pay for our kids...very nice and clean. We will stay there again...

I booked a one night stay through Hotels.com. I also requested a 1 p.m. check-in time and a microwave, both of which I got with no problem. We got to the hotel and the front desk guy was out front smoking, which didn't seem that professional to me, seeing as he was the only one there. Check-in was quick. We got a king sized bed with a view of the street/Falls/Clifton […] Hill, which I thought was pretty nice. By my standards, the room was pretty big and clean. The only "dirty" thing I saw was that there was some old coffee at the bottom of the coffee pot in the room. Besides that, everything else was OK. The decor was a bit outdated. One thing I thought was weird was that there was no overhead light, so the room had to be lit by light coming from the window or the lamps in the room. The alarm clock radio didn't work, so we hoped we woke up on time. There were only three full sized towels for two people. I slept on the pull out sofa bed - my back was shot the next day, please don't do it. I would've slept on the floor if I knew my back would feel so bad. There were only two pillows on the bed, but the bed was comfortable. There was a nice sitting area (with a couch, table and chairs) which would be nice ig someone had to do work. The shower was OK - had an anti-slip bottom and handle. There was a nice full length mirror on the bathroom door. The location was really good - near some places to eat, Clifton Hill, the Falls etc. The view was really cool. For the price, I'd stay at this place again. Les mer

I have to say I wasn't expecting much from this hotel because of the price but I was in search of a smoking facility and my choices were limited. First off I have to say that the staff is amazing and very friendly. The hotel lobby itself is very dark and not eye catching. I booked 2 rooms for myself and my guests and both rooms were not clean. There […] was stuff on the floor in my room and my guest complained of used soap and shampoo in their room. Also their carpet was dirty. The rooms are a little dated and the t.v. didn't offer much choice in channels. Overall however we enjoyed ourselves. A room after all is just for sleeping and these rooms for fine for that purpose. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were kind of shabby. I would have liked firmer pillows. You had both a mini fridge and a microwave which I found convenient. I never got a chance to check out the pool so I can't comment on that. I would stay here again because despite the overall condition of the room it was affordable and served it's purpose. Les mer

Great hotel, not the nicest but definitely a good time, super comfy beds and pillows and the size of the room is great, Niagara was a little empty when we went but still had tons of fun

I do not recommend this hotel, the beds were dirty, the pool had algee growing, the cleaning staff didnt know where clean sheets were, the front desk was no help with people making to much noise after 11pm Extremely disappointed

Booked for the location and price. Very pleasantly surprised at cleanliness, ammenities, and room for the price. Staff was very friendly. In Niagara often, will definitely stay here again.

Honestly, this hotel is not amazing, its not even horrible...its just not worth it. Could find the exact same pricing for a better hotel, by far. Only good thing is location is convenient. The service staff are very rude, not helpful or informative in the least...and yeah if they tell you parking is 10$ for the trip, they mean for each day. Pretty sure […] i even got charged extra for the toilet paper holder that was hanging off the wall....when i GOT there. But hey, that 2 dollar holder is definately worth them charging me 50 dollars for needing to put two new holes into the thing. Not to mention the unexplainable constant tapping coming from beside our room...which sounded like people tapping, but were next to elevators. Save yourself the annoyance and go elsewhere. Les mer

We picked this hotel because of the price, and were impressed with what we got. The street isn't the best, but it's close to everything, including the falls. The room was comfy and large with a nice view. Excellent value, and one of the least expensive hotels that we could find in the area. Would definitely return.
