Aqua Beach Inn - Myrtle Beach

IT WAS GREAT

We had a good time. The service and staff was great. Small cold pool. Slow elevator. Some areas need updating. Stayed during spring break, was up all night due to noisy strip.

The room was clean, but room is small, air conditioning not working, kitchen is a joke , lots of noise and we are non smoking people, there was a couple next door smoking and cigarette smoke getting to our room, so if you are no smoker, keep out!!

I absolutly loveeee this hotel! It was our first time at Myrtle Beach and had no idea what hotel to choose but ohh was I glad a booked this one! Great location close to all must see atractions! The view from our room was amazing! When it says "ocean view" they really mean it! Even though is not on the main street, it doesn't have any tall buildings […] in front of it so you are directly looking at the beach and the Sky Wheel is so close that you feel like you can touch it! (Not realy but is really close so you can only imagine the view at night). I was so happy with the room! Very clean bathroom (wich is so important to me), new kitchen appliances, flat screen tv, clean carpets and beds, sitting area and private balcony. The only bad thing about this hotel is that I notice they don't have much secury on who comes in and out of the hotel and that scared me a little (I saw random people just coming into the lobby to use the bathroom so who knows who goes upstairs) plus when there regular parking gets full there extra parking lot is in a street behind the hotel with no security and not much light. So get there early, park and don't move your car (you really dnt need to move it cause everythin is walking distance). But don't let this discourage you, is a great new hotel, with an awesome awesome location, great rooms and friendly staff. Next time I'm @ Myrtle Beach I will def stay at Aqua Beach Inn, I loved it! We could not get a working coffee maker after we had to ask for it to begin with, and the room had only one chair untill we asked for another one. The elevater was always occupied with the cleaning crew. Our room was beside the laundry room which made it difficult to enter and exit. Our room was not cleaned the entire weekend we were there. We had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely book there again. Good location, nice view and great for people watching near all the action. Hotel was clean and recently renovated. Staff was very friendly.

We enjoyed our stay here. The beds were comfy, we were so close to boardwalk and were able to walk to many attractions. The Internet was not great though. The rooms were not too bad. Not the best, but clean. Price was reasonable.

This hotel was for the most part very good, especially for the price. However, one issue really seemed tacky to me. They charge a resort fee daily. This is meant to cover parking, property wide wifi and hot tub/pool. The only problem is the wifi was so weak it didn't even function in the lobby, the hot tub and pool were closed, and at this time of year […] on street parking is free and abundant. I'm not a fan of being told I'm paying for a non existent service. Also cleanliness could be improved somewhat. We found sunflower seed shells on the floor, and none of us had sunflower seeds. Central location, one block away from ocean/beach. Very clean; excellent price for location of hotel. Recommend for adult travelers. Would return again.

Room was clean,staff was very friendly.View was ok too many tall hotels around,but view was good of the ocean.Close to things we wanted to do and I would stay there again.

A pleasant surprise. Right in the middle of all the Myrtle Beach activity. Great ocean views from every room, though it's two blocks off the beach. Easy access to some great restaurants.I stayed there at a quiet time of year(Feb) and wonder how noisy Ocean Blvd. may be in the summertime at night. I would definitely stay there again

Stay was pleasant enough, however the Ocean was two blocks away, but perfect view of dumpster. Staff was friendly and accomidating. Not a full oven in room only two electric burners. no dvd player, no desk.

Veru clean and friendly staff. Walls were thin and we woke up to no hot water which staff was aware of and got repaired promptly. They were courteous and allowed late checkout. Nice view of sky wheel.

I was a little disappointed that it was not ocean from because the pictures was a little misleading but overall I was pleased.. it was close to the beach, I could see the ocean on my side... but if I was one room over my view would have been blocked...but for the price it was fine

This is a very nice hotel. The ease of access is a plus. I am not a fan of large hotels with parking decks and Aqua Beach Inn fits the ticket. The trip was for a girls shopping excursion and the location is great. I will definitely return!

One of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. Comfortable beds. Great view of ferris wheel from 7th floor. Full size coffee maker in room and kitchenette. Nice TV and towels. Would definitely stay again. No breakfast, but short walk to friendly cafe.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were modern. The bed was also really comfortable, and the ocean view was great out over the balcony. Overall for the price, the room and hotel were great. I would definitely stay again.

Easy access to hotel off 17S about 2 blocks from beach. Every room faces to beach w/unrestricted view of ocean and shoreline. Lobby and decor is cool and clean. Staff was very helpful with recommendations for dining and local discounts. room was clean and well furnished with plenty of room and small kitchenette. Air conditioner was noisy and WIFI signal […] difficult to lock in so room for improvement here. Otherwise, execellent stay and would recommend to others. Les mer

Great location, great staff. Couldn't have been more pleased.

One of the best vacations I have had, all the employees where very friendly. The room was clean, convenience was great, THE BEDS WERE WELL I WANTED TO BRING THEM HOME WITH ME BEST SLEEP I HAVE HAD IN A LONG LONG TIME.

I didn't know what to expect. My room was clean and when I opened the sliding glass door the atlantic ocean was right there. I will stay again. Rates were very good.

Very clean not tacky decor. Beds were really comfortable and sheets didn't feel like paper. It had a kitchen with sink, fridge, and stove. So cute and nice! I'm a local, I live about 55min away and decided to stay the night for a small weekend vacay and I will go back there again next time. Best deal for the money!

This was a very nice hotel at a great price. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean and there was a grill for guests to use. Staff was very nice and friendly, free wifi, all of the rooms had kitchen areas with pots pans and anything you would need to cook or eat.

I was pleasantly surprised by this small hotel that is only one block from the beach. It has recently and completely been remodeled and all furnishings are new. The only thing they did not remodel was the elevator and I was told that it too will undergo refurbishing very soon. My room had a small balcony with a great view of the beach and there are […] restaurants within easy walking distance from the hotel. Aqua Beach Inn was very clean. The Staff was EXTREMELY helpful and the room had a great view of the ocean. Will be staying there on a return trip next year...

Everything was very clean and up dated, all the staff was very helpful and very nice. When I'm in myrtle beach this is the place I will stay.

All the rooms face the Ocean. Ice machine on 4th and 8th floors. Noisy on those floors--perfect if you use a lot of ice. Nice flat screen TV. Rooms have balcony with 2 chairs and table, apt refr, microwave, dishes and stove. Mini-apartment like. Very private pool too. Parking is on-site unlike most Hotels on the beach. Will highly recommend.

Check in was great. No parking deck. Had to park in lot. The room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. However, my room had a horrible urine odor. I sprayed and sprayed the entire two days I stayed there, but the odor would not leave; must have been in the carpet. The first night, I slept with the balcony door open. The second night, bugs […] started coming in; so I had to endure the odor. I would stay in this hotel again; but not with the odor. Les mer

We decided to hit Myrtle beach at the last minute after a very long week!. We liked the hotel: 1. All the rooms are sea facing!. Eventhough the hotel is not at the beach front, there are no buildings that block the views from the rooms. 2. For an overnight stay, we were not too choosy about the line up of TV channels or lack of a dishwasher in the […] room!. 3. You just have to cross the road to hit the sands! 4. Walking distance to the Ocean Blvd and surrounding shops/eateries. Minus Points: 1. Only 1 elevator, so you are basically stuck waiting for it. 2. Parking seems full all the time!. But it din't matter to us much as everything we wanted was in walking distance 2. It can be a little noisy, from the slingshot ride next door! Overall, this is a decent place to spend the night at!. And, at that price, i will definitely be coming back. Les mer

My wife and I had a room on the 8th floor, with a great view of the ocean. The room was very clean and in a prime location.

I found this hotel because the one we normally stay at had nothing available. My husband and I wanted to get away so I looked the day of the trip and found this gem. The pictures don't do it justice. It is the cleanest hotel at Myrtle Beach that I have ever stayed at. The pool area and lobby were immaculately maintained. The staff were friendly which […] is what go us here to begin with. I always read what the reviews are. So glad we made the Aqua Beach Inn reservation. I would stay here every time I come to Myrtle. So close to everything! and such a quiet hotel. We only heard the elevator when someone came off, but no noise from the other rooms. So amazing It was a jem of a hotel. I hope someone reads this and takes my advice. 100% satisfied! Les mer

Absolutely excellent place to stay . I loved it . I ll stay here every time I come over . Every thing was great, staff was really friendly.

So my weekend getaway was absolutely amazing… Check-in could have been a little more prepared. We apparently were the last check in of the night and we did have to wait a bit but the receptionist was as quick as he could be. There was housekeeping service daily as well. They also have wireless internet. The Aqua Beach Inn is amazingly close to everything […] especially the beach. If you want to be close to the beach, Broadway, restaurants, and supermarkets and shops, The Aqua Beach Inn is the place to be. I have already told all my friends and family and we are planning to come back really soon… The only con is that the towels were a bit stained however that will not stop us from returning. My hotel stay was GREAT!!! The room was clean and the kitchen in our rom was wonderful!! the location of this hotel is within walking distance to everything, we didn't use the car. The pool area is clean and comfortable. The only bummer is there's only one elevator Other the that it's great!

This was my first trip to the beach ever. The aqua beach in was an awesome hotel. The ocean view from my hotel was my favorite part. The hotel is also close to alot of stores and the amusement rides, you could see the ferris wheel from my balcony. The pool and hottub was a nice way to end the day.

I left my make up bag at the hotel and the housekeeper brought down to the manager and let them know I left it. I was able to call and inquire if they had found it and they had. They then arranged to have it sent to my house. It was a relief to me that she turned it in b/c it was very expensive make up. So kudos to the staff at Aqua Beach Inn for the […] extra effort they gave me. Matt and I enjoyed our stay very much and would like to look into staying there again in the fall. thanks, Joy Les mer

The hotel was nice, clean rooms, newly renovated, granite countertops full fridge/freezer, utensils, the beds slept SOO good, me and my husband both slept like a baby! The only downfalls would be the balcony was a little small, and in our room (506) there was a LOUD noise sounded like pipes clanking together above the bathroom, seemed when the water […] pressure was used the clanking happened.. The staff was wonderful!! the front desk and the housekeeping ladies and gentlemen and maintance were so friendly and welcoming! Les mer

This hotel was in a perfect location... just one street away from the beach and a short walk from the boardwalk and tourist attractions. Small kitchen is ideal for a longer stay if you don't want to eat at restaurants for every meal. Rooms are clean and updated. Hotel pool is well maintained with plenty of loungers. My only complaint would be that there's […] not a lot of storage space (i.e., drawers) to store your clothes. It's the kind of room you want to come back to after a long day at the beach. Les mer

The Good Staff at front desk amazing, very helpful. Hotel in good proximity to beach,restaurants and attractions. Area seemed to have a solid police presence. Pool and Lobby in good repair and clean. Room was good, kitchen was good to have. The Bad Cleaning staff inconsistent, some days we got cleaning some days no. Wi Fi connection weak. All in all, […] good value. We would come back again. We stayed at the Aqua Beach Inn for 5 days in late July / early August. Our room was surprisingly big. It had 2 queen beds (which I think were more like double beds) and a pull-out couch in another sitting room area. There was a 2-burner stove, microwave, and a modern refrigerator. The balcony was nice, and we had a good view of the ocean and the new […] SkyWheel. The only real downside we experienced was a flood light from the Beach House parking lot which seemed to shine directly up onto our hotel. It wasn't a huge problem, as the black-out curtains kept the light out. Also, the hotel had only 1 elevator for its 11 floors, which was only a minor inconvenience. Although the hotel is not quite oceanfront, there was no real trouble accessing the beach in less than a 2 minute walk. If the price is right, I wouldn't mind staying here again. Others might be a little bothered by the street noise from Ocean Blvd., but I am only 26, so I didn't have a problem being kept up until midnight or 1 a.m. Les mer

We stayed 5 nights in MB at the Aqua Inn. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were in room 306 and still had a good ocean view. We heard some outside noise from cars passing and people screaming from the sling shot ride but nothing that kept us up at night. There was also outside light from the SkyWheel that would peek through the curtain but again, […] nothing to keep you up at night. The main issues we had was 1) the housekeeping kept knocking on the door to clean the room. There is a door tag to put on the door for service but the HK kept coming and knocking on the door to see if we were "ready" for service. 2) They left our door open! twice! The front desk was friendly and nice and again the location was great! We walked to the beach, resteraunts, shops, attractions- everything! Les mer

The hotel is newly renovated and pretty nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. Close to everything which is good since you won't have to take your car, you'll void the problem of having your car tow! Don't expect to be to quiet in summer season, you're in the heart of everything! Only downside: they have only one elevator but I'm sure they'll be working […] on it soon! Les mer
