Nice hotel for the price. Very close to the beach. Breakfast was only until 9 am, but we only stayed here for one night, so it was okay.

Bygget virker litt slitt fra inngangssiden, samme med gangene og trapper, og luktet av urin noen steder. Inne i rommet luktet det urin av teppe, rommene var slitt, det var også badet. beliggenheten til hotellet mot stranda var fantastisk. Ute område mot stranda var veldig bra vedlikehold, samme med badebasengene.

Dette var min families favoritthotell da Alt har tidligere vaert helt topp. Det eneste har vaert beliggenheten som ikke er den beste men hotellet gjoer opp for det paa alle mulige maater. Desverre i aar ble vi moett med et par ansatte med en ubehagelig holdning. En i valet og ei ansatt Ved uteomraadet. Vi bestilte bla fire menyer da vi var fire pers og hun kom med to. Da vi spurte hvor De Andre to ble av, nektet hun for og begynte aa krangle. Dette var kjempe ekkelt for oss som helst vi ha en stille og rolig fam. Ferie uten intriger. Dette var synd, og det ble nok siste gang for oss paa dette hotellet, selvfolgelig ogsaa av Andre personlige grunner. Passer best til familier med barn overbto aar. Vaar var ti mnd. Ellers ett luksus sted som. Generellt er veldig flott.

"Excellent place to stay in Daytona Beach"
I had a very nice oceanfront suite with a sitting area as well as a bedroom, both with TVs. The only maintenance request i made was resolved in less than ten minutes. It is less than a mile to Ocean Walk and the Ocean Center, and you can walk it either on the beach or on the sidewalk.
"Last minute bike week decision!"
We decided last minute to stay overnight the last Saturday of bike week. This hotel had rooms available, but pricey. Due to the events no doubt. I was apprehensive, but I must say we were pleasantly surprised. Hotel was clean, as was our room. The room was nicer and larger than I expected as well. We had a balcony facing the ocean which was a really […] nice feature as we are smokers, but don't care to do so indoors. (they do not have ANY smoking rooms, contrary to what is listed in this site) Room had a coffee maker, bar area and refrigerator. We had a king size bed, also had a sofa, living room area, as well as desk. The room was very spacious. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was pre-paid as we booked via this site, but they did require a credit card to allow for incidentals, however, i don't recall the dollar amount. They had motorcycle only parking provided on site, and a parking lot directly across the street for vehicles. The restaurant on site had outdoor seating, which we prefer, overlooking the pool and beach. Food was ok, basically your typical barfood, with a full service bar. Although it was hot, and delivered to us timely. Combined with the convenience of it being on site, overall decent. The servers were friendly and attentive. In the morning, you could purchase coffee to go, but there wasn't any available complimentary. (Aside from the coffeemaker in the rooms i suppose.) also in the morning, they had a buffet or full menu for purchase in the restaurant. There is room service available, however, we did not order. There was loud music coming from an adjacent bar, but didn't hear it when the sliding door to balcony was closed. We kept the doors open, as for us it contributed to our mindset of our weekend! But I imagine it could put some people off. We usually stay at a different hotel when in Daytona, but would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Les mer
"Gorgeous Newly Renovated"
The hotel was recently renovated and was very clean- pretty and pristine. Very enjoyable stay and the people were fabulous. Just don't ask for a smoking room - they don't have them anymore. And if you buy the breakfast don't forget to print your coupons.

It was actually not bad considering the surrounding hotel choices. Our room smelled like fried fish, which we could only assume was from the last guest. The room was exceptionally clean and the food in the restaurant was good for what it was. IF you want a hotel on the beach, and don't mind the lack of luxuries from a larger and more expensive resort, […] this is the hotel for you. The staff were helpful and the room was always clean. Was nervous about hotels in Daytona Beach but was pleasantly surprised. With the ocean view, clean pool, nice pool area and restaurant we did not have to leave. The beach area was not crowded as we were far enough away from the crowded pier. Would suggest to friends. Will stay there again.
"Would not stay on this hotel again"
Even thou the person at the front desk was really friendly, they gave me the keys to a room that was locked from the inside, I had to go back downstairs with all my luggage to get a new room. The room really smell bad, and there was none "Do not disturb" signs in the room, so I had to make my own. The next day when I went downstairs for breakfast, I […] received the worst, and I really mean the worst service on a hotel restaurant, starting with the hostess, who never sat me, I actually had to go and take a table myself after 15 minutes of wait, was not given a menu, had to get up and look for one myself, and the waitress did not come to my table until after a long time me waiting there and actually asking if I was ever going to get service. My order was wrong, but I was not about to ask them to correct it, at this point, I just wanted to get out of there. And finally, my bill was wrong, they end up charging me over $169 more, which then they just apologized and fixed. Nope, vacations should be to get relaxed, not stressed and aggravated. "Hair in "sanitized" cups"
I found an actual hair inside a cup that was wrapped in plastic, one on the bathroom counter and another one on the bathroom floor. Disgusting, and what an embarrassment to Holiday Inn. The front desk guy was a little snotty, but our waitress for breakfast was the bomb!

We were very pleased with our stay at the Holday Inn. The room was very clean, and nicely decorated. We had a ocean front room on the 4th floor. The beds were a little hard, but slept better the second nigtht there. There was some noise from other rooms, but not enough to keep me awake. House keeping was very friendly, and did a good job with keeping […] the room clean. Breakfast at the resturant at the hotel was surprisingly good. A little high priced, but not out of line. "Daytona Beach Holiday inn"
It had been a long time since I was in daytona Beach. THe hotel was fine and the outdoor areas very clean. Beach access great. The hotel was a bit older and in need of some updating. But the room was very comfortable and the stay pleasent. I would stay there again.

I haven't been to Daytona in a few years and by the way the description of the hotel was portrayed, I thought it had been upgraded. Not only was it not upgraded but after the first night when it was cleaned, I found a used razor in the shower and someone's underwear sitting on the bed. Holiday Inn & Suites Daytona Beach on the Ocean was a great place on the beach in Daytona. The service was friendly,rooms were very clean. Parking was an issue one night as a High School Reunion was held at the hotel one evening, but the staff was very helpful in assisting as spaces became available. I was greeted as I entered the door with a smile by a friendly desk clerk. Ceck in was quick and simple. The room was actually pretty big and clean. Nice beds and2 types of pillow made it one of the best hotel stays I have had.

"Good overall, but more staffing is needed."
The only complaint I have is with the lounge crew. My wife and I had planned to spend the evening relaxing in the lounge, eating a light meal and watching our Florida Gators on the TV. But that plan was dashed when we could not get served because the staffed was overwhelmed by a group (about 25-30 people) that unexpectedly came in for dining room service. […] The lounge staff had to cover this event because the dining room was woefully understaffed. This was our 3rd stay. We were graciously taken care of by the staff..as always. A beautiful view from our room!!! The room was clean and comfortable..we will stay at this hotel again!!

For the past 4 years I've been going to biketoberfest and never have found a descent hotel close by main street. This Holiday Inn has very comfy rooms, clean, friendly employees and conveniently close by all the main attraccions of Daytona Beach.

"Biketoberfest"
The hotel was great for Biketoberfest. We were a mile or so from Main St. We walked the first day but the parking of bikes is down to a science and we rode the next day and paid $5 to park. The beach was nice and not crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

A newly renovated hotel with updated rooms and lobby/restaurant area. Friendly staff, with restaurant and bar and outdoor seating. Pool with access to the beach and a poolside waiter for food and drink orders. Could use a few more chairs near the pool when busy but its not their fault as people tend to stake claims and not use the chairs. Could also […] use a TV for the outside bar area.
