"Good Value"
We stayed here as an inexpensive alternative to Sunrise Resort. Only con is the maybe 30 minute drive we had to make to the ski area (more maybe when climate was adverse). Otherwise, everything I was pleased with this hotel. Good price. With a microwave and mini-fridge, and grocery within walking distance, we could be super frugal. Even has indoor pool […] and mini exercise room, plus a basic continental breakfast. Help was friendly. Absolutely no complaint with hotel. Excellent value. Les mer

"Super 8 in Pinetop"
We've stayed here before and were very pleased with the hotel and the service during this visit. A few minor issues arose during our stay but the management resolved all issues in a timely manner and they were very nice and polite. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Just Fine"
Expectations weren't high as I was looking for something affordable and with a convenient location and this fit both requirements. Staff was pleasant, room was clean and the location was perfect for easy access to lakes/fishing as well as local eateries and the casino. Only complaint was the bagels and muffins were a bit stale.

I enjoyed the stay, location etc. The room I had needed attention in the bathroom. The shower curtain rod was about to detach from the wall and the stopper in the lavatory was missing. The continental breakfast time was too short and not too much selection.

In all the hotel was OK the bed spread needed washing and the toilet seat was broke it kept falloing off the toilet the hotel employees were very helpful. The morning breakfast was kind of lame but in all a nice one night stay.
Checked in, took a long time, other customer came down 3 times and interrupted that his keys were not working to open door. Got to our room and one key not working. Got ready and left right away for an event. Returned around midnight to find our room smelled so bad and when we turned water on to brush teeth it was leaking heavily onto carpet below sink. […] We put a trashcan underneath, but the carpet was soaked and smelled so bad in there, the office was closed so we were forced to sleep there. They did switch rooms for us next day, but we noticed they just cleaned it and possibly didn't make any repairs in there. I suspect mold as it was probably leaking for some time. Went to another event and our keys for new room were not working again and this time had to wake the office staff to get into our room. Both rooms had ironing boards that were broken too. Both rooms had toilets that the wax ring was missing and stained at base of toilet. Les mer

The over all hotel was okay, but our room was dirty. The walls had what appeared to be dirt and possibly blood on the walls in both the room and the bathroom. Items were falling off the walls. The bathroom smelled like they used a sour rag to wipe it down. Shower curtain was filthy. Claims to be a hot breakfast and all that was hot was instant oatmeal, […] and the coffee. Les mer

Just fine for what we needed only one night passing through town. About what I expected for Pinetop and a Super 8 and this price. They did include have breakfast which was a nice addition.

we were impressed, It was very clean. Problems were solve immediately. It was not far from where we were interested in going. Had a great time. would deffinately recommend Super 8 at Pinetop, AZ
"Typical Budget Hotel"
Nothing special here, no frills or extras. The good: Clean room, TV with many channel choices, fridge. The bad: The desk clerk made a joke about a $10.00 charge for a 2nd key, (couldn't tell if he was kidding) and at checkout was holding his child. Good size hole in the bathtub covered with plastic. Worse towels you will ever find in a hotel.

Nobody at Super 8 is watching this place. Bed terrible. Lobby smelled awful, room smelled perfumed to the point it nauseated me.
"Pillows"
Our room was a bit shabby. The furniture was well worn and had a hole in the sofa. The bed sagged in places, however, it was the pillows that were killers. They were small and worn out. Our advise is to bring you own pillows from home. Other than that, the room was clean and the TV worked great.

Nice little hotel, Bathtub could be cleaner. TV remote didn't work. Place was quiet, looked good, Breakfast was good. All in all, for the money it was a good deal. Lots of good food close by.

"Super 8 Motel - Pinetop"
First the good: The hotel was clean. Continental breakfast was satisfactory. The bad: Upon check-in, only one set of hand/bath towels were available in the room. We requested additional towels from the front desk, yet they had ran out. Also, the hotel did not have enough additional keys to issue. The hotel brochures and sign stated, "Check out is […] at 11 am". We kept getting calls from the front office asking us when we were leaving. The "Do Not Disturb" signs were not enough. After explaining to them check-out is not until 11 o'clock, the hotel requested we call & let them know when we were leaving. If you like hotels w/ lack of towels, additional keys, & being bothered to check-out, then this is the hotel for you. We have additional trips to Pinetop in the near future, but we have already made reservations at a different hotel. Les mer

I enjoyed my stay very much! I was suprised that there was a pool and jacuzzi. The room was nice and spacious and the breakfast was ok. I would stay again.

"Great experience for budget lodging"
We were in town for one night and really only needed a place to sleep after a full day of sight-seeing. There was nothing special about the room - typical budget lodging. But the hotel staff was friendly and helpful in advising us on restaurant choices in the area. Also, the breakfast (6-9 AM) served was great. Last minute trip & few rooms available. Read some bad reviews on the Super 8, but decided to book anyhow. We were pleasantly surprised by location,staff & the room. Located w/in walking distance of a great steakhouse, staff on property 24/7. The hotel is on the highway, but the room was not noisy, even with the window open. The room was clean, the air […] conditioner worked, microwave,small fridge & coffee maker & coffee service provided. The bedding was not new, but the king sized bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water, although the shower adjustment was very touchy! Towels seemed small, but new.Hair dryer was provided. The indoor pool was scaffolded & being refinished, but that area was large, well lit & looked inviting. The lobby was large & clean. Two of the negative reviews mentioned a bad odor in the lobby & the rooms, but we did not experience odors in either place. We would stay here again. Les mer
It was clearly stated on a sign at the front desk there were not pets allowed but there was a dog barking in the room next to ours and despite several complaints to the front desk it continued barking most of the night.

Checked into only two rooms out of three reserved rooms, Mng. said he would refund for mistake and still charged us. Very dishonest people, would never recommend this tired rundown old motel. When you call to try and resolve Mng. is never in to take calls.

This is an older hotel that is very clean and pretty well-maintained. Continental breakfast was fresh with enough variety to enjoy a couple days in a row. My family really enjoyed the indoor, heated pool and spa - very relaxing after a day exploring the natural beauty of Pinetop/Lakeside/Showlow. For the money, this hotel is a very good deal.

"Nice getaway"
Close to the end of town about three miles from the casino if that's your thing. We had dinner at Charlie Clark's which is within walking distance...not cheap but the portions are massive. Good service. Room had microwave and refrigerator so you can heat up leftovers.

"Pinetop, AZ"
Our toilet overflowed twice which we took care of ourselves. We were only there for 12 hours and knew we'd be out of there early. Did try to let front desk know when we left but no one ever answered to the buzzer. We were to have 2 queens and got 2 doubles instead. Wasn't worth hassling over but will probably not stay there again.

"Bed bugs"
I was very disappointed in this hotel. It was dirty, so dirty that people had etched grafitti into the dark scum around the edge of the pool that was green and sickeningly warm. I found a bed bug in our room the second night. I showed it to the manager and said that I would not be staying the third night of my scheduled stay. I was still charged because […] of a "24 hour cancellation policy." I will not stay in hotels with bed bugs and I should not have been charged. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. "Great Place at a Great Price"
For a Super 8 (aka lower budget hotel) - the Super 8 in Pinetop was a great place for a great price. Our room, a King Suite, had a mini frig, microwave, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, free internet, love seat and table and chairs. There was also a free continental breakfast in the lobby. Our room looked like it had been "spruced up" […] in the recent past (new paint, etc.) The location of the hotel, in the pines of Pinetop, was great. My husband and I don't like to spend a lot on a hotel when we travel, because we're out all day hiking or sight seeing - we don't see the point in spending a lot for a place to sleep and shower. The one complaint is that the bed was hard - which is how every single hotel bed I've ever slept in has been - so that's life! We've driven by some Super 8's over the years that were in cruddy locations or looked run down, but not this Super 8. We searched the hotel address on Google Earth and got a street view so we had a good idea of what it looked like before we made our reservations (I recommend this step for all hotel reservations, by the way!) I would recommned this Super 8 to anyone. Les mer
