Hotel is off the "beaten path" but very clean and comnfortable inside. The staff was very nice and accomodating.
we requested 2 rooms on the first floor ns. we got 1 on the first floor, smoking room and the second room on the second floor. don't know if Hotels.com messed up or Super8. Staff was very helpful with this problem.
"Super 8, just OK"
It seems hard to find a nice hotel near Winamac Indiana. The staff was nice, the breakfast was OK. The shower curtain smelled moldy, the vanity light was slow to turn on, and the carpet was very grimy and almost seemed greasy. The LCD TV was nice. I would not have wanted to stay at the Super 8 with my girlfriend, but for me it was OK. I will keep looking […] for a nicer hotel. Les mer
"good hotel"
It was a pretty good hotel. the only problem we had was that we booked a non smoking room. and when we got their they didnt have one for us.
"Friendly Staff and Dirty Hotel"
Let me start by saying that the staff was great, but the hotel was dirty and broken down. When we arrived, the room had an awful smell of mold and mildew. Tried to open the window, but the was no screen and I discovered the lock on 1st floor window was also broken. The bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was dirty and after 1 hour the bottoms of my […] white socks were black from the carpeting. The chair by the desk was so rickety that we were scared to sit in it. Location is great with plenty of restaurants around for a town of it size, and it is right of hwy 31. Only 3 to choose from in this small town and one of them is far worse. My advice would be to keep moving to the next small town. Les mer
"Super 8 Rochester IN"
I stay at a lot of hotels because I travel a lot on business. I chose this hotel because it had the highest review on a Google Maps search for the area within 20 miles. I was disappointed in the general cleanliness and smell of the hotel. There was a floral deoderizer smell in the hotel and room that seemed like the hotel was trying to cover up some […] underlying stale smell. The experience wasn't horrible, but I wouldn't stay there again or recommend it to anyone else. Les mer

"Highly recommended."
This was a perfect midway point to Indy after the Notre Dame game. The motel was very reasonably priced, and very nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Your basic 2 star hotel. Don't expect anything other than a bed with a roof over your head and you won't be disappointed. The staff was very friendly.

I had booked two non smoking rooms. Our room was a non smoking but the other room was not. When we ask management about it they said they were full and so had given us a smoking room. We had reservations from Hotels.com for a non-smoking room that were madein July09. Whenwe arrived Labor Day weekend, our room was a smoking room and there were no others available to move to. Not sure who was at fault, hotels.com or Super 8. The room smelled of smoke very much. The front desk did their best to help us out.

My reservation was none smoking room. I slept in 3 nights in smoking room. it was pretty hard to sleep for person never smoked in his life. And after work long hours; to go to back to reception desk twice to get a fix my key to open room door didnt make me happy. NO APPRECIATIONS. sorry...
