Super 8 Motel - Fortuna - Fortuna

Overall, the motel was clean, quiet, and very excellent customer service. I saw a sign saying "Welcome to Fortuna The Friendly City". This town and motel literally lived up to this statement. The front desk gentleman who helped me was friendly, funny, and also even talked to me for 5 minutes showing me fun sights, great visiting locations, told me where […] I could find things in the town of Fortuna. I mean, even the 3 top restaurants in town, could get a 10% discount on your meal just for showing your room key. The Eel River Brwery Company is literally across the parking lot about 15 feet away. This place was packed!!! Now I know why. Great beer, great food, and great service and locals. Not to mention, what a great continental breakfast. Who serves waffles in a Continental Breakfast at a Motel? Motel 8 at Fortuna!!! Overall, it was alright for the location, the price, and for a quick 1 night stay. I would definitely stay here again!! We spent three nights in this Motel. The receptionist was very friendly. The room is newly renovated and very clean, with a nice flat screen TV. The bathroom is pretty small, but we didn't find that to be a problem. Breakfast is from 6:30 to 9:30. They serve muffins, bagels, juice, coffee and waffles. Check out is at 11am. The only small inconvenience […] we encountered was that the first day we were there we were woken up early in the morning by the gardener because he was mowing the lawn for quiet some time. However, that only happened one day, out of the three days we were there. Overall, I would recommend this Motel. It's very nice and clean, considering it's a Motel 8. This is consistently the cleanest, quietest and friendliest hotel in the Eureka/Fortuna area. Even if I have business in Eureka, it is worth the drive back to this hotel in Fortuna. By far the best place to stay in the area.

The frontdesk rep spent time telling me about what there is in the area. He was very pleasant and professional. The breakfast room was very clean and well laid out, lots of options. The room and bed was clean, with fridge and microwave.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Right off 101. There is also a brewery right next door where we found great food and drinks. On the down side, the bed was pretty old and lumpy. The sink was also clogged up. Overall not too shabby for the price.

This hotel was only supposed to be a place to spend the night on our way down the Oregon Coast to Napa Valley but as it turned out it was one of our best nights in our 10-day long vacation! The hotel room was very clean and comfortable the only thing we didn’t like was the shower stall was small and there was no bathtub. However, the hotel is in the […] same parking lot as the Eel River Brewing Company and this place was awesome! They had an outdoor beer garden, that actually allowed smoking, and the food and beer was the best we had on our entire trip! It was even extremely reasonably priced! The area around it is not congested and made for a great place to go for a jog in the morning before getting back on the road. Les mer

This was one of the cheaper night’s accommodation on our recent trip and it was excellent value for the money. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and had everything we needed. The employees were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a range of cereals, porridge, juice, toast, bagels, waffles, pastries and fruit. Small breakfast room […] and tables in reception but no problem given price. Across the way is the Eel River Brewing Co restaurant, which gives a 10% discount to people staying at the hotel (and also does ‘tasters’ of their beers). All in all, great value for the price. It was roomy and quiet just right for a tired vacationer, friendly staff. Great for the bucks

Service was fantastic. We were locked out of our room and the person behind the desk noticed we were having difficulty with our key (through the security cameras). He came right up and helped us in! We always had fresh towels and a clean room when we came back from our daily trips. Close enough to Eureka.

Friendly front desk help, good free breakfast, quick and easy check in and out.

This Super 8 hotel far exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was modern, clean and comfortable. The recent renovation was definitely worth it. I highly recommend this hotel!

We have family in Loleta so the location and easy access to 101 are perfect. The Eel River Brewery is just steps away...try the chili! Our room was clean and you could tell it had been remodeled recently. The one issue I have is the lack of anything slightly healthy at the continental breakfast. Even peanut butter would help. great place to stay

Really, really clean. Pillow and bed weren't the greatest, but with the cheap rate I was expecting way worse and I have paid way more for worse so imagine my surprise when I was told the stay includes a waffle breakfast.

I have been working on a project in Eureka a couple days a week and find that this is the absolute best place to stay even though it is a bit of a drive to Eureka. What sets this Super 8 apart is the level of cleanliness, quietness and price. I check in early and am always amazed to find the parking lot full the next morning, as I had not heard a sound […] all night long. Did I mention the yummy waffles? Les mer

This is a very nice hotel...very quiet and very clean. There is no traffic noise and it is very easy to get in and out of the hotel. It doesn't hurt that it is next door to the Eel River Brewery, a great place to eat and sample local brews.

I chose Super 8 after reading the other reviews and they were correct. A clean, quiet and comfortable room. Well maintained surroundings. Lit up at night for security. Breakfast was satisfying. Great rate using Hotels.com. There aren't any attractions or restaurants nearby that I could see, but I was there for a specific purpose so I didn't need them. […] EASY access to the freeway. I will stay at Super 8 again when I come back to Fortuna in the spring. Les mer

Perfekt lägen om du åker norr om San Francisco för att se Redwoodskog. Motellet ligger en bit efter den sevärda rutten Avenue of the giants. Stora trevliga rum och nyligen renoverat eller nybyggt. Motellet ligger granne med en trevlig restaurang med microbryggeri som blev en bra avslutning på kvällen efter alla dessa sagolika enorma träd.
