Trengte èn natt i forbindelse med å skulle reise på cruise. Hotellet ligger like ved både flyplassen og cruisehavnen, slik at det kun er snakk om en liten drosjetur til 10-15 dollar, samt at hotellet har shuttle til havnen som ligger på ca 5 dollar pr snute, kjørt til riktig skip. Det at hotellet ligger rett ved flyplassen merker man ikke stort til hva gjelder støy. Det eneste som er å utsette er lokasjonen i forhold til f.eks spisesteder og butikker, som gjør at man er avhenging av å kjøre/bli kjørt til butikk eller restaurant, da det er et greit stykke til forts. Men dette koster ikke akkurat mange dollarene.. Dette var mitt andre opphold på dette hotellet, og kommer trolig til å bo her også neste gang jeg er i byen i samme ærend :)

Helt ok hotell i forhold til pris. Rommet noe gammeldags og hadde ikke kjøleskap. Ellers var det rent og pent med 2 gode dobbeltsenger. Fin lobby med en liten bar som ble omgjort til en enkel frokostservering. Betalte ca 25 dollar ekstra per døgn i tillegg for å få hotellet til å parkere/hente bilen i eget garasjeanlegg så ofte vi hadde behov. Parkeringen kunne gjøres billigere ved å hente/bringe på egenhånd.

Bra hotell med tenke på kvalitet, men kjedelig at de skal ha 25 dollar i tillegg for parkering og 10 dollar for WiFi på rommet.

Godt fornøyd med oppholdet. Svært vennlig og serviceinnstilt personale. Romantisk og stemningsfullt uteområde/bar om kveldene. Rent og pent og minimalistisk stil på rommene. Kan anbefales.

Hyggelig betjening både i resepsjon og frokostsal og nært til strand og det meste. Akseptabel pris og størrelse på rommene.

Dette var et rimelig og ok hotell. Standarden på rommet var god og det var rent! Kjedelig frokost i en trang og ukoselig frokostsal med papp og plast servise. Gammel resepsjon og gangareal. Basseng ute ok!

This hotel was quite ok, but not more than that. 2 star would be more right rating. The location is good and you can walk to beach and restaurants. Ok pool, but if you lay close to road you can feel the stench of the garbageroom to the hotell. Not so nice when you are supose to relax by the pool. It was quite noisy ass well. Breakfast was ok - Frank […] in the breakfastarea was the best about the hole hotell. For us Norwegian the breakfast was very bad, but as i say ok. "Too expensive for a low end hotel"
I guess the rates are generally high in this area so this was the best I found. Terrible smell in the room. Old and outdated hotel. If you wish to stay close to the beach while waiting to embark a cruise ship, this is an alternative but it is very simple and they offer a terrible breakfast (all on styrofoam and plastic).

you couldn't ask for a better place to stay for the price I got on hotels.com the room was lovely, very clean and we walked right out the door to the beach and the strips activities in ft lauderdale. The hot breakfast was a bonus after a wild night out and the host who was seating you at breakfast was amazing with his personality!!!

"Decent place - likely would stay there again"
This was an older but fairly well maintained hotel within 3-5 minutes walking of the public beach. Nice pool and plenty of lounge chairs. Decent food and bar service also. We stayed there prior to cruise. Does not offer free shuttle to the airport and none of the hotels offer shuttle to Cruiseport. But this hotel was within 10 minutes of both by shuttle. […] Other than beach, there is few places to eat within reasonable walking distance other than Bahia Mar Bar & Grille, which had good food and full bar but was a bit overpriced. We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western. Hotel was clean and convenient. Complimentary breakfast was exceptional - lots of food and variety, everything was good quality. "Best Western"
Great overnighter while enroute somewhere else. The location next to the beach and habour is a plus however. 10 minutes from FLL is very handy.
It has a nice broad walk by the hotel, a perfect place to have a long walk in the morning along with nice surroundings of beach, palm trees and shops! Also the hotel provides one of great hot breakfasts especially delicious waffles! Nice swimming pool, too! Just a great place to stay!

This is a good place to stay - it's convenient to everything. The water taxi is across the street. The rooms were clean, it was very quiet when we were there. I've stayed at the Clipper next door a few times and the rooms are very similar.
Had a great time with Rose the bar manager.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Pool area was nice and well maintained. Beach was only a short walk from hotel. The man at breakfast was great. My family really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at the best western plus Oceanside on 2/20/12 the hotel was clean but is in need of an upgrade badly. The staff was friendly and the place was clean but the decor leaves much to be desired. It's a short walk to the beach and a short drive to the mall and is conviently located.

The halls smelled strongly of insecticide. We assumed the transportation to the airport would be provided, as at other Best Westerns, but it was not, and then we were not quoted a price for the trip. It would have been cheaper to take a taxi. Hotel was clean but felt very tired and rundown.

Great location, can walk to the beach, restaurants, coffee shop, marina, close drive to airport and Port Everglades. Tricky to get into parking garage though! Room was clean but dated with tiny bathroom. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with great variety of foods!

"BW Oceanside Inn"
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Breakfast was more than we expected and the attendants at the breakfast buffet were pleasant and very helpful. Beds were comfortable but the bathroom is very small. Just be aware that the hotel is not on the Ocean and there are no scenic views from the rooms. It is an easy walk to the beach and to the Water Taxi.
Excellent service, everyone was very helpful. Clean rooms...would stay here again for sure!
Be careful which room you select. There is a lot of noise around the pool in the evening until about 11 pm. The bar is right next to the pool and loud talking from bar carries. Great breakfast and lots of help from guy who seated us with selecting sites to visit.

"Nice place to stay"
We spent two nights here after a cruise, as we wanted to tour the area. Staff was very helpful, (except for one girl at the front desk). Everyone else went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed. Pool needed a cleaning and the view of the back alley from our room was not the best, but other than that we had a great stay. Big spacious […] rooms close to the beach and to the water taxi system, which although expensive ($20.00 per person) was worth the price as most of the tour guides try to be informative and humorous. The free breakfast each morning was excellent and the staff again went out of their way to assist us. Thanks! I would stay here again without a second thought. Les mer

we stayed here 3 nights. This is a great hotel. The staff is realy nice, and the breakfast is great, and the man how works there help you whith anything. Is is close to the beach and it takes 15 minuts to go to were all the resturants are som maybe a lite bit of, but its so cheap and you can take the car everywhere so i dont´t think is a problem. I found the staff very helpful. the rooms were great. recommend the sundeck rooms. This is our third time staying there and will go back in the future. Not a lot of frills, but you get a lot for your price and great location.

Great for a stopover when you are cruising the next day. Free breakfast and drink with your stay. Price is reasonable. You do really have to drive if you want to go anywhere else.

If you're looking for an upscale hotel 'on the beach', don't go here. They have a nice little bar, complimentary drink, free breakfast buffet, and a very nice staff. We especially loved Matt the bartender. He was having a quiet evening and the five in our party came in to watch MLB playoff game. "Yuck!!"
The room we were given was on the first floor pool side. The windows were wet from the humidity and the room had a very musty smelling, dark and disgusting to say the least. I called the desk and told them this room was unacceptable. We were given a room on the 4th floor that was much better, but we had a hard time getting the door opened to the new […] room, it stuck I think because of so much moisture. The price of the room was too much for what we got. We have stayed at Best Western before and never had this kind of problem. I would never stay at that location again, or recommend it to anyone. Our stay there was very enjoyable. Rooms where clean location was great. We felt safe there. Frank in the breakfast area was very helpful about giving tips on where to go and what to see. Would stay here again. Older hotel but they keep it very clean and updated.
