Hotellet lå sentralt til i Barcelona, rimelig pris og veldig god service. Hotellbetjeningen snakket bra engelsk, noe som ikke er vanlig i Barcelona. Rommet var av god størrelse og inneholdt alt man trenger for en weekendtur. Sengene er ganske harde, men for et par netter er dette ikke et problem. Hotellet ligger rett ved et metro stopp, noe som er veldig nyttig da man med metroen kommer frem til de fleste steder i Barcelona. Anbefales!

Rent, velstelt og hyggelig hotell, like ved metrostoppet Arc de Triumph (to stopp unna placa catalunya). To dataer med internett i resepsjonen, veldig hyggelige og behjelpelige resepsjonister. Hyggelig kafé man kan spise frokost på rett rundt hjørnet er "Bracafé", ellers er det en asiatisk restaurant rett ved siden av den kaféen der man kan spise rimelig og god kinesisk.

Hotellet ligger sentralt til i forstaden til Barcelona, med kort vei, 100 meter, til nærmeste buss-stopp. Turen til Barcelona tar omtrent 30 minutter. Undergrunnsbanen, med meget god kommunikasjon til Barcelona, kan nås etter omtrent 10 minutters gange. Du ankommer sentrum etter 20-30 minutter. Betjeningen på hotellet er hjelpsomme og tenker løsningsorientert, noe som medførte at forespørsler ble effektivt behandlet, til beste for oss. Vi hadde et trivelig opphold, og kommer gjerne tilbake til samme hotell.
Beliggenhet.
Barceló Hotel Sants ligger praktisk til nær flyplassen i Sants-Montjuic-området i Barcelona. I nærheten finner du Placa d'Espanya, Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya og Fira Barcelona. Ikke langt unna finner du også Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya og Camp Nou.

Avansert lys og temperaturstyring fungerer meget bra. Stor og god seng. Vi hadde utsikt direkte til La Sagrada Familia fra vårt rom. (ca. 2 km. unna.) Sentral plassering […] i forhold til kommunikasjon, da buss, tog, metro og sigthseeingbuss har stoppested utenfor døra... Gangavstand til feks. Montjuïc med bla. Olympiastadion. Kort veg til sentrum og alle severdigheter med Metro, buss eller taxi. Vi var 4 reisende og benyttet felles gruppekort på metroen den uken vi var i Barcelona. Rimelig løsning, hvor vi rakk over alt vi ønsket på enkelt vis. Restauranter og handlemuligheter i gatene rundt hotellet.. Enkel ankomst/avreise med tog direkte til/fra flyplassen. Les mer

The hotel was consistent with the reviews I read- great location from the renfre and metro trains...the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable as well:-)

I only stayed at the Barcelo Sants for 1 nights, so I was not able to take advantage of all it had to offer, but the room was fantastic. The funky space age decor is charming, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were amazing to this weary traveller at the end of the 2-week trip. Free wifi in the room! That works! Amazing. The hotel is […] on top of the busy Estacio Sants train station, but you wouldn't know it from the inside. Getting to the airport in the morning was a breeze, and access to other parts of the city is very easy. Next time I am in Barcelona I will definitely stay at Barcelo Sants again. Les mer

This hotel was extremely convenient, located right on top of the Sants Train Station. It was very quiet and the rooms were spacious and modern (Star Trek motif). The metro was right underneath at the station (buy a T-10, ten rides for 8.25 Euro) and it was only a few stops to the Gothic quarter. The sightseeing bus stops right in front of the hotel […] and there are lots of restaurants within easy walking distance if you don't want to eat at the hotel. Also the RENFE train to the airports leaves every 20 minutes from the Sants Station, takes 20 minutes to get there and only costs one Metro ticket. Les mer

We recently stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It is located on top of a metro/train station with a taxi and bus hub. It was extremely convenient and easy to get around. The hotel itself was nice and to be in Europe was roomy and comfortable. It had a king-sized bed, flat screen tv and a nice bathroom. Great location on the transport hub, ideal to get to all city sights, out of town locations and to/from airport. Rooms spotless and quiet, bed was fantastic. Staff very helpful, breakfast very good. Because we travelled Spain by train this hotel right above the rasilway station was ideal for our Barcelona stay. We thought that there might be some rail and road noise but neverheard a sound

the room was satisfactory and the staff was helpful. Transportation was right underneath you at the railroad station. The station also has fast food places for quick breakfast and lunches. Highly recomend the on-off tour bus which was located across the street. There are sidewalk cafes a block away. Sure many would say there was a lot of noise in the area but there was a street festival going on. The location of the hotel, at the train station, was great for me. Hotel, people, staff, location, metro, bus tours etc...all in the area a few steps from the hotel. Talk about a sweet deal. WOuld I stay here again? Yes.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed perhaps. Direct train will take you from the airport to the hotel. Funny enough, the hotel sits right above the train station. The hotel lobby might not surprise you, but wait until you see your room. Extremely modern deco room, spacious and clean, a massive window with a city view, curtain control button next […] to your bed side . I had a kind size bed, very comfortable. "Step off elevator and on to set of Star Trek!"
Visiting Barcelona during the August holiday rendered some of the more obvious hotel choices closer to Plaza Catalunya too expensive for our budget, so I searched around and found the quirky Barceló Hotel Sants with its orbital themed rooms. We were a little hesitant about the location directly ABOVE the Sants Estacio train station, but this gem of […] a hotel really grew on us over the week. First of all, the location is magnificent...we landed at the airport, walked directly to the train, fare was cheap, and were walking into our hotel in under 30 minutes. We found the lobby is a bit subdued, and the front desk was SO helpful. We quickly had our room keys and the fun began as you step off the elevator into the set of Star Trek! The orbital theme was fun and well executed...who ever designed the rooms thought of everything. Beyond the space aged art, the walk-in shower was the best we'd had in 10 weeks of traveling the world, and the bed was extremely comfy with TONS of pillows. Eventually we realized that we preferred the ease of taking an elevator directly into the train station and being able to cheaply/easily get most touristy places in BCN without switching trains! An added bonus was some of the uncrowded side streets around the neighborhood around the train station, featuring lovely fruit stands and some mom & pop restaurants that were priced well below the more touristy areas near the beach. Finally, our favorite part was the fact that we could walk to/from Montjuic, with it's lovely green space and brilliant vantage points to take in the vibrant city of Barcelona. My wife craves wi-fi, and Barceló Hotel Sants was one of the few places we've stayed with consistent, free high speed internet. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and recommend this hotel without reservation. Les mer

Hotel right above the train station. Easy access to the metro and the sight seeing bus stop right outside. We stayed in a orbital room which was great with the room over looking the city. Would stay here again on my next visit and highly recommended to others.

"Fantastic Hotel! Would recommend to everyone."
Fantastic hotel with warm and welcoming staff. The lobby area is wonderfully decorated with a fountain and chandelier. My room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The black-out blinds (electronically controlled) did a great job at blocking out nearly all the light. The location was great too as the hotel is situated ontop of a main train station. […] A very quick, easy and cheap train ride away from the airport and main barcelona. There is a supermarket across the road which is great if you want to have a picnic on the beach. Only a few small gripes. Tthere aren't many English TV channels. BBC World news and CNN are the only ones. Also, we asked for another pair of slippers as only one pair were supplied, but these were never received. Apart from that, it was a delightful hotel. Great location. Spotless bedroom with comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Great gadgets (iphone/ipod docking station, electric blindes, flat screen TV). Les mer

We enjoyed our stay. The room was wonderful; very modern and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable and the shower was large with a rain-like showerhead, directly overhead! The room was very clean. The metro was so convenient because the metro and train station were right below the hotel so it was easy to get to any part of the city and only […] a 15 minute ride to the airport. The only complaint is that there was not a big selection of restaurants in our opinion close to the hotel. Otherwise, a great stay! My first time in Barca, and this hotel was nice but everyday (total of 8 days) early in the morning, someone was working on the hotel - construction noise. when you are on VACATION the last thing you want is have someone/something wake you up hella early. fantastic out of center location! above the station - go outside towards taxi's, turn right, avoid the smokers, and in the first door, then go up! simple! even easier is the train from the airport (leaves from t2 but bus shuttle from t1 is quick and frequent - get on any train, all go to estacion sants) - 3 euro each way. orbital rooms are clean modern […] and functional, so is room service, everything you would need till i think 1am. early check in (11am!) was fantastic after overnight flight from nyc, but i cant gurantee they offer to everyone/all the time. plus a big plus for us. bar on 1st floor was only one open for us, but a bit $$$, but room rate was reasonable for such a convinient hotel. train, car rental, tourist bus and subway all inside/outside the hotel building so for us it was great... room service pizza, not american style but delicious.. would return to this hotel again when back in barca! This hotel is right above the Barcelona Sants station, so it's so convenient to use the metro or take the train to any location. The best sights of Barcelona are only a couple metro stops away. The price is extremely affordable considering the location, cleanliness, free wifi, and comfortable beds! I've stayed at two other hotels in Barcelona and the […] beds were so hard! "Prachtig gerenoveerd ...."
We waren hier tussen kerst en oud en nieuw en het was een prima keuze. Vooral de kamers zijn geweldig gerestaureerd en hebben nu meer een "lounge" of "boutique" uitstraling. Heerlijk douce, "open" badkamer met glas afgescheiden en een fantastisch bed! Jammer dat de rest van het hotel (lobby en restaurant) nog niet in de stijl van de kamers is anders […] had alles van mij een 5 gekregen. Maar dit zal in de loop van 2012 wel gebeuren. De ligging is niet zo dat alles op loop afstand is maar je zit letterlijk boven op het centraal station van Barcelona dus je kunt overal makkelijk naar toe met taxi, bus, metro of trein. Kortom, we hebben er genoten en we kunnen dit hotel zeker aanbevelen! Les mer

"Le grand confort"
La chambre est très, très confortable (un lit double gigantesque, de même que le téléviseur). La vue est excellente. Les bouches de métro sont quasi sur le parvis de l'hôtel. Deux bémols, la trop faible épaisseur de la porte des toilettes ;) et le prix exorbitant du parking (25 € la journée de stationnement).

Bra hotell, engelsk talande personal, bra läge, rummet såg ut som på bilden. Frukost buffen va inte världens bästa, men det fanns mycket att välja på! Den va långt ifrån dålig! Mycket nöjd med helheten å läget! 15min på metron sen va man vid stranden, och i stort sett allt annat!

Nous avons aimé les 2 chambres communicantes,très lumineuses,(avec store occultant la nuit :-))) très propres,pas de bruit (5 nuits),supers petits déj( en promo à cette époque).Bien placé ,au dessus du metro donc accès à tous les sites très rapidement. C'était parfait. Parking un peu cher....

Hotel recientemente renovado, habitaciones espaciosas con grandes detalles, TV 42", iPod dock, wifi gratuita (muy buena velocidad, videoconferencias con mi familia perfectas). Hotel situado encima de la estación de Sants, le quita un poco de explendor a su lobby, pero es muy práctico. Rodeado de restaurantes, la zona está bien para una cena informal, […] pero alejado del centro; caminar hasta plaza de España es agradable, pero hay que moverse en metro. Excelente localización para acceder a la Universidad y zona de Camp Nou. Conseguí una oferta en Hotels.com, que hizo que mi estancia fuera mucho más económica y agradable que la de mis colegas en hoteles de 3 e incluso 2 estrellas; la envidía de la reunión. Un aspecto a destacar, la ducha efecto lluvia, muy relajante. Uno de los pocos hoteles que he visitado en Europa o USA en que aun no escatiman en los accesorios de baño. Completamente satisfecho y lo recomiendo especialmente a viajeros en AVE. Los pasillos son un poco obscuros por la experiencia orbital, pero es parte del encanto que le quieren dar; para algunas personas puede ser una desventaja; pero las "llaves" son de proximidad, asi que no hay ranuras que encontrar. Super fint hotel med god service og rigtig god morgenbuffet. Dejlige store værelser, rent og pænt med gode bade- og toiletfaciliteter. Yderst centralt beliggende oven på hovedbanegården med direkte forbindelse til lufthavnen. Trods beliggenhed ingen støj.
