Et rimrlig hotell, og langt bedre enn prisen skulle tilsi. Innendørs svømmebaseng åpent fra kl 7 om morgenen til kl 11 om kvelden. Svært populært for familier med små og større barn. Fri internet med printer. Hyggelig og hjelsom betjening.

Hotellet har beliggenhet i en ærverdig gammel bygning og ligger sentralt i Detroit. Det er nylig pusset opp og renovert og kan vise ti len meget høy stanadar. Både fellesrom og hotellrom var meget god vedlikeholdt og av meget høy standard. Service på hotellet var godt over forventet og av meget god klasse. Dette hotellet anbefales klart for reisende - både på ferie på og på forretningsreiser.

"Econo Lodge Madison Heights - value for the price"
Friendly staff, big and (almost) clean room. Noisy, but very effective aircon. Stayed only one night on my way to Chicago, would have searched for something else if staying in Detroit for more nights, but the Econo Lodge was just alright.
Just stay there because it is close to two places that we like to go to.The toilet didn't flush properly, the stopper for the tub didn't work and I wanted to have a bath and couldn't because the water wouldn't stay in the tub.Wanted to do laundry in the laudry room it was in very poor condition.I would stay somewhere else next tie if I could get the […] cheap rate I get here. "Comfortable Stay."
Someone came in our room and replaced our three towels with only two but we asked for another towel at the desk and the next night we placed the do not disturb sign and all was well. The breakfast had Dunkin Doughnuts- can't go wrong there.
"Average hotel"
It was a decent hotel. Not the cleaniest, but not the dirtiest. Would stay there again if I was in the area. It's on an industrial drive, close to Meijer and other major stores. Easy to find. Pool was small, but nice. Wi-fi was great as was cable.

There is no way I would ever stay here. They have non smoking rooms but it smells like a chain smoker has lived there for the past 40 yeas which is approximately the last time they redecorated. Our first room had dead bugs init. I went to request another and The smell was still the same. Horrible night.

I wasn't expecting much considering how much I paid for the room and that is what I got! The bed was pretty uncomfortable to me & I am pretty sure they gave me the wrong type of room but really I just needed a place to crash for a few hours so I just went with it. I books a room with 2 queen beds, got a room with 2 double beds but with a refrigerator […] and microwave. I did put my soda in the fridge since it was there but it wasn't something I needed or asked for when I booked the room. Although the floor seemed a little dingy overall the room was clean except for the lone hair on the shelf in the shower & the stain on the back of the toilet was kind of gross. Cheap hotel, cheap price. Good enough to serve the purpose I had. Les mer
"The EconoLodge in Madison Heights"
For the price the room was ok. The biggest complaint about the room was that the carpet was really dirty and I have toddlers so that was a big no no. The continenal breakfast was horrible and the pool had not been cleaned the noght befor so when we got in at 10 am there was all kinds of stuff floating in it.

"Fine for the price"
For the best price and tax, it fit the bill. Just the basics, but it was clean and convenient. Morning breakfast was better than expected for a continental (2 cereals, milk, oj, toasted bagels). They had wireless in the room and a pc in the lobby. Bare bones, but I'd stay again for the price.
Everything was fine except the toilet was not bolted tightly to the floor.

OK for the price. Well worn former Knights Inn property but was quiet and fairly clean. Desk staff was friendly and courteous. Continental breakfast donuts were fresh.

"Very disappointed"
The first room we were given stank of mold and mildew to the point that we had to request a different room, which was then no better than the first. There was a thick layer of dust on the bathroom mirror and all of the furniture, as if the rooms hadn't been cleaned in months. The rooms were so bad we ended up leaving and staying at a different hotel. […] While the one staff person that was at the hotel was very nice and tried to help, nothing he could have done would have made up for the fact that the rooms were disgusting and in serious need of cleaning. "Great for the price"
We stayed in a whirlpool room. It was clean, the whirlpool was big, there was a microwave and fridge, and a DVD player. The only things that weren't great were the location of the ice machine (only one by main office) and pool (not even close to center). The office guy was not pleasant. When we called in the morning for more towels he rudely said "you […] know you have to check out at 12 right?" this was at about 10:30am. All in all i'd recommend this hotel if your on a budget or just looking for a place to crash. Les mer

"Needs Improvement"
We were looking for somewhere to stay overnight we were going to a bowling tournament, we're from Cleveland so we needed someone close. I found other places to stay, but since we were on a budget we decided to stay at the Econolodge. When we opened the door the room was musty, we cut on air conditioner to air out room it had a smell. Once we unloaded […] the car and left the door open it aired out. The mattress was lumpy and coming off the bed. It wasn't a full size ironing board available. The price was right the staff was nice, but they need to update they're rooms. If you need someplace inexpensive to stay this is the place for you. Les mer
