Oppholdet var bra, ble møtt i døren av personalet, fikk hjelp med koffert opp til rommet. Frokost var veldig bra og de var serviceinnstilt. Fine rom og gode senger. Bra størrelse på badet var det også.

Hadde et kjempebra opphold på Grand Hotel Cavour. Sentralt og fint. God service, bra renhold på rommet. God frokost i hyggelig frokostsal. Synd at været ikke tillot at vi kunne spise frokost på den flotte takterassen. Vi fikk en ettermiddag der oppe med et glass god vin - det var helt fantastisk! Dette hotellet kan jeg gjerne anbefale til andre.

"Location, location, location"
The hotel was great. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast service was good and adequate even for me (200lb American). The best thing about it was definitely the location. Pepo and Mario restaurants that are about 20m from the hotel entrance are both really good. All of the sights in Florence are an easy walk as well.

Great location! Lousy breakfast. Room next to us had bathroom next to our bed... Could hear the toilet flush and the water go through plumbing everytime....

"Easily walkable"
Hotel is located about 15 minutes from train and bus terminal. Conveniently located next to the central market.You can walk to anywhere except Piazzale Michelangelo. It is located in a less busy alley so noise at night is not too bad. Room is clean and adequate in size.

My partner and I stayed at the Botticelli Hotel near the end of July. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes walk away from the train station and the main sites of the city centre. We stayed in a superior room which was smaller than expected and it was a little dated. There wasn't much choice for breakfast but the coffee was excellent. However, I must mention […] that the service at the front desk and breakfast was faultless. "Good for price"
Nice little hotel for the price. Good neighborhood, walkable to all the sites, close to the train. Only complaint is that the air conditioning mysteriously turned off after our first day and all they said was "sorry, it's not working anymore."
Great hotel and location. To our surprise, the hotel sent us a bottle of champagne for my husband's birthday. The Italian breakfast was a perfect start to a busy day.The staff was friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions for places to visit.

Lovely hotel, within walking distance to the central station and the city centre but in a quiet street. The Botticelli has character, decor is in keeping with the city, has a feeling of being well cared for. Room size was OK, roomy bathroom. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of central Florence and only a few minutes from a selection of restaurants and the leather market. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful whenever we needed help or advice. We had a superior room which was a nice size and had a good view. Excellent for our 3 night stay. Room was small but was clean (fresh towels every day) and had all the fascilities needed. Lovely 2nd floor terrace for an drink after a day walking round Florence. Very convenient for all the sights and plenty of restaurants close by. Staff very helpful.

This is small, recently refurbished and well-appointed hotel. The standard roooms are small but do have v. comfortable king size beds. Staff are helpful and charming. Very good value.

Although I wouldn't recommend driving in Florence, once you are able to navigate your way through the streets and finally arrive at the hotel, it is an absolutely lovely place! Every receptionist was friendly and helpful. If you drive, the garage is close by and the hotel makes it very easy to arrange a parking space. Breakfast every day was plentiful […] and good. This hotel was close to every spot you can imagine. Three minute walk from the train station,. 10 minutes or so to everything else. Fantastic service and very knowledgable staff. Highly recommended. Would recommend to everyone.

This hotel is no more than 300 meter away from the Central Market and no more than 700 meters away from the Duomo Santa Maria. In fact, it is centrally located to all the major points of interest in Florence. As an expatriate living in Europe for over a year now, I have stayed in many B&B, Gastehause, and hotels and I have found this hotel to be one […] of the most comfortable and nicely appointed hotels I have stayed. For the price, you cannot do better. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel sitting areas are very well appointed with many over stuffed chairs and sofas on which to sit after a long day touring the fabulous art and sights of the cit. The only negative is that the breakfast is not as large in offerings that I have experienced in many of the hotels and Gastehause in Germany...but then again this is Italy. Oh, and don't be taken in by the self service restaurants in Florence...they are not a good deal. Go to a regular sit down full service place to get a much better meal at about the same price. "Great Hotel! Small rooms...."
It was definitely a friendly hotel with a great breakfast. Shower stayed hot which is more than I can say for other places. The only thing that really was surprising is how small the rooms are! They are really shockingly small! But, then again, you don't go to Florence to stay in your hotel room.

I found my 5 days in the Botticelli very comfortable and the staff were very nice. I was there alone for two nights while attending a conference and then my girlfriend joined me for the rest of the week for a holiday. We both found the place very comfortable and the room was very clean. The cleaning staff did a great job every day. They worked very […] hard. The staff helped me out when i forgot my plug adaptor and they were able to help when the need arose. I found the hotel added to the florence experience and i would recommend it. I did find the breakfast a little poor at times. it was fine first thing in the morning but towards the end of the breakfast time, there was very little left to eat and they never appeared to restock very often. You needed to get down early to get the full experience. Otherwise, a fantastic little hotel with everything you need. Les mer

An excellent, friendly, hotel right in the centre of Florence. You can easily walk to all the main sights. The staff are very helpful, our car was parked for us when we arrived and collected in 5 minutes when we were ready to leave. "Good hotel - bad air conditioner"
Overall our stay was great at the Botticelli Hotel in Florence. It was right near a very happening square with drinks, restaurants and gelato! The hotel was nice and so was the staff. The only complaint we really had was that the air conditioner was powerful enough since our room was on the third floor and it was incredibly hot outside. If you stay […] on a lower floor I suspect it wouldn't have been a problem. Our room however was clean, we were in a good location, the breakfast did the trick and we walked to everything! "Smallish room but perfectly fine for a short stay"
We stayed for 3 nights before going on to Rome. Botticelli is well located within 10 minutes easy walk from both the station and the Duomo. Plenty of decent trattorias on the walk down to the Duomo. Breakfast is typical continental - croissants, rolls, yogurt, fruit - with fresh tea/coffee etc. Our room was small but since we were only staying for […] three nights and didn't sit in and watch TV we didn't care. The bathroom was again small, but spotless. Can't comment on the 'service' of the staff, since we were pretty self-sufficient, but everyone was very friendly. "Great choice"
We were very pleased to have chosen the Hotel Botticelli to stay in Florence. It is located in the San Lorenzo part of town which has cheaper bars and restaurants and the wonderful central market to recommend it. The hotel itself is very pretty, and the receptionist was very helpful in booking our tickets to the Academia. Recommended.

good front desk staff - helpful and knowledgeable. Other staff we met were friendly. Bed comfortable, aircon excellent. good breakfast really convenient for the sights - we could wlak evrywhere within 15 mnutes - only 5 minutes stroll to the Duomo, 10 minutes to the Ufizzi museum.

We've stayed at the Botticelli Hotel for 3 nights. The location was good, not far from the train station and the downtown area. Very good breakfast. The hotel service was very good as well. The only trick was to get in to the really small bathroom. For some people, with the XXL size, it might be challenging.
"Just what we wanted"
The hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes' walk from the Duomo and 15 minutes from the train station. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Also, they all spoke good English which was a blessing as we spoke no Italian whatsoever. The bedroom wasn't huge, but was air conditioned and perfectly adequate for two people to relax and sleep […] after a hard day's sightseeing. The shower could have been better as it tended to run hot and then cold for no reason - though the huge fluffy towels went a long way to make up for that! Breakfast was fine, with a choice of coffee or tea, the usual cereals, croissants, rolls, fruit, etc. The only thing that let it down was the artificial fruit "juices" - why do hotels do that? All in all, we felt it was a good place to stay if you want to see Florence. We'd stay there again. Les mer

The hotel is easy to find from the train station and is in a great location for seeing all the Florence sites. You can hear a lot of street noise, however, so maybe ask for a room away from the street.

"Stanza rumorosa"
L'hotel si trova in ottima posizione centrale. La stanza era pulita ma molto anonima quanto all'arredamento. La colazione più che soddifacente con scelta tra dolce e salato. Il personale è parso molto gentile e disponibile. Nota di demerito che giustifica il fatto che non lo consiglierei: la rumorosità della stanza.

ottima posizione, il garage è esterno e si paga extra ( come quasi tutti gli alberghi del centro ), il personale è gentile,disponibile ed educato ... peccato che la pulizia non sia esaltante , anzi , direi proprio scarsa !!! la camera nel complesso è accettabile ma maggiore attenzione deve essere posta agli asciugamani ed alle coperte e lenzuola !!!! Место не гламурное, сразу скажу, но весьма аутентичное, что для средневекового города, может, даже уместней! Небольшой уютный домик трех этажей с милейшим балконом на […] втором с тремя столиками и цветами по периметру, который доступен для всех жителей отеля, узкими крутыми лестницами, расписными сводами потолков в холле, фактурные стены, зеркала - все погружает в атмосферу, которой очень, как раз, хотелось! Номера небольшие, но тоже очень уютные: все компактно, все необходимое есть, каждый день прибирают, меняют полотенца, выносят мусор. Завтрак в отеле классический по минимуму: хлопья, мюсли, йогурты, сыр, ветчина, чай, кофе. Персонал улыбчивый, вежливый, ненавязчивый. Все демократично, но все же достаточно заботливо. Рядом есть отличный ресторан "За-за" с великолепной классической итальянской кухней и прекрасным вином! Все очень, очень мило! Спасибо! Les mer

Le camere sono nella norma per un albergo a 3 stelle, ma il personale è professionale e simpatico. La posizione è fantastica - 5 minuti da SMN e altrettanto dal Duomo.

Très belle place et charmant accueil au Boticelli que vous devez essayer pour visiter à pied les principaux centres d'intérêt de la Ville-Musée... Le confort est satisfaisant et le service appréciable.. J'y reviendrai la prochaine fois! Attention/ il y a un parking tout à côté mais très cher (20 euro pour 1 jour et demi)
