Ok breakfast. Pet-friendly motel, fortunately our room looked and smelled ok. Nice for people driving the coast who are on a tight budget. Ok for the price.

Motel was very good and convenient as indicated and overall I was satisfied with the facility and the service. Two complaints, however: 1. One of the two pillows on the queen bed was uncomfortably hard (minor.) 2. On coming back in the rain on the second night of the stay neither of the two key cards would open the door. Fortunately, the desk person, […] about a half an hour from closing the office, was able to re-program the keys. Only took about ten minutes (unless we had been a half an hour later.) "not that great"
The hotel room was very small, but the bed was comfortable. The resteraunt next door was ok. I booked a smoking and got a non smoking and the girl at the front desk took over 30 minutes to check me in.
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. I am sorry to hear that you had difficulty at check-in. When you booked the room through Hotels.com, it came through to us as a non-smoking room, this caused us to have to try to make adjustments to switch you to a smoking room if available. We have a very limited supply of smoking rooms. I am amazed, however, that it took 30 minutes to get you checked into your room. I will be disussing this issue with my front desk staff as I have never seen it take more then 5 minutes to check someone in, of course, unless we have many checking in at once, but still never 30 minutes. I will make sure that never happens again. I hope you will consider giving us another try on your next trip to the Mendocino Coast.

Very convenient location. Free breakfast (not the best but it was free). Carpets were not so clean but overall rooms were clean. Very good value for money.

We were passing through fort bragg area and spent one night at this motel. Hotel staff was good. Our room was on the first floor. The room was clean. However the ceilings and walls in this motel are so thin that we could hear our neighbours and 2nd floor people using their showers and even wash basin. Dripping sound of water kept us awake from middle […] of the night. Breakfast was OK - bagel, milk, cereal, coffee, apple and a couple of juice. Location of the motel is good. Plus you get 10% discount at many fort bragg restaurant if you show the room key prior to ordering food. This place is ok to spend a night but would think twice before staying more than that. Les mer

Usually we do not get complaints about noises from other guests unless the guest is being unrulely, in which case we would deal directly with that guest to take care of the situation. We have regular guests such as nurses who stay with us and work long hours which require them to sleep during the day when there is more actvity and they never complain about the noise of a guest above them. I will investigate the water sound issue you mentioned and see if there is anything I can do about it. I do hope you decide to stay with us again in the future.

I am a woman who was traveling alone - I was on the ground floor - I felt perfectly safe the entire time. Desk clerk was friendly and helpful, room was very clean. For the money you can't ask for more. I would definitely stay here again, and would have no problem recommending this place to friends. Les mer

Towels paper thin but adequate. Cheapest waxy toilet paper possible - bring your own! 2nd floor room floors vibrated with people walking past outside - cheap construction. View of […] Hwy. & cofee shop. Relatives stayed five minutes up the road at a far better hotel for a mere $40 a day more & had a spectacular two room suite with spectacular ocean views. Being an economy hotel, we do offer our rooms below the rates of ocean front luxory hotels in our area. I think you would most likely agree that that is what you paid for and recieved. In addition, we do have rooms that give you a view of the Ocean as well for no additonal price. Many of our guests stay with us because they do not want to pay the more expensive rates but want a clean, friendly and comfortable place to stay. I do agree with you regarding the issue with the water pressure. This issue has been given attention and we have recently taken steps that have increased our water pressure. Booked this hotel at the last minute before July 4th so wasn't expecting much. My expectations were exceeeded. The front desk staff was very friendly and they had ample parking. The only downside was the room was on the small side and the water pressure in the shower was pretty weak. However, for the price I would recommend.

Great location right on the HWYand near the beach and great coastal views. It is on the south-side of Ft Bragg, so it is a short 10-minute drive south to the beautiful charming small town of Mendocino. Also, the young lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

The hotel was pretty good the only thing I would change is there old sheets they looked old and worn out and that is what they need to buy new sheets and then it would be nicer. Then I could give it more stars

Definitely will stay here again.
