The hotel staff were very friendly. I did not have to wait for a room. I received the best rest because the mattress was so comfortable. The Resturant next door was best home town cooking.

the hotel was in poor condition. The ceilings had a lot of water damage and the beds were very old. They pillows were even older. The breakfast consisted of Tang coffee and danish. Oh yes and fruit that had huge bruises on it. Thats the bad. now for the good, we got there and were able to check in quickly, the staff was nice, the room was clean even […] though it was out of date and old. The location of this hotel is perfect. Close to I10 and downtown. However, it is located where 2 busy streets intersect and quite noisy. The room was clean and bed somewhat comfortable. The bathtub faucet leaked and could not be turned off. If you are looking for the convenience of a continental breakfast, this is not your hotel. It states they provide […] a continental breakfast. what was there, was granola bars, honey buns, rotten apples and oranges, coffee and orange juice. It serves its purpose for a quick one night stay for a concert attended downtown. And you do get what you pay for. Les mer

Comfortable. A/C box was in disrepair although unit worked fine. I would stay there again for an overnight trip but not for longer trips.

Place could use a renovation, however, that staff was very nice. They have cut back on amenities such as free breakfast and body lotion, but for the price, I am not complaining!

Worst hotel I've ever stayed it. Dirty. After I got my room key I drove parked and opened my room door, someone was still staying in the room. I drove back to the office, they gave me a other room, I open it it only has one bed when I needed 2 beds. I drive back to the office and they gave me a other room. I drive to where the room is I open it and […] crack users used that room, no house keeping dirty bed sheets filthy bathroom and components crack users used on the counter. I go all the back to the office.... They have no house keepers to clean the room. They had me put on bed sheets on both beds myself vacuum myself and clean the toilet and bathtub myself. Next two days they switched my room .... After I get back to shower no hot water. Had to take cold shower for a few days... Sounds silly but after all this fiasco I was irritated.... Then they switched my room again after all this I cannot wait Togo home and never never never never stay at this rat hole ever again!!!! Les mer

The room was good except we had no hot water, just thought maybe they turned off the boiler at night to conserve. However, in the morning there was no hot water. We had to be moved to the other end of the hotel. Kinda thought maybe they would have offered some kind of compensation, but there was none. We got in late to our hotel and they gave us a hard time! Very unwelcoming! My mother is handicapped, and they made it unpleasant for her too!

Friendly staff. Clean. Room to park my 30ft trailer. The best wifi setup of the past 20 hotels I have stayed in, including some of the 4 and 5 star places. Breakfast pastries were the freshest I have ever had. I would stay here again.

Overall, we were somewhat pleased. But the smell in the hallway and rooms smelled of moldy dirty clothing. Possibly mildew. I used up a whole can of Lysol. Other than that we thought for one night it was fine. The pastry, coffee, tea, fruit and sunny delight were different. Not exactly a breakfast but ok.

The tv remote didn't work, tv picture was terrible, bedside lamp didn't work, bathroom sink had a bad rust spot next to the drain, two cockroaches crawling on the table the following morning and prayed none got in my bag to bring home with me. Other than that, it was fine.

By far the worst hotel stay. When we arrived at hotel, maintanance let me in but waited for management at least 10 min to come back and get me checked in. The room was made up and it had fridge and microwave in room which was a plus, but the bathroom stunk like urine penetrated in the walls. First room they gave us was redolent of perfume or heavy cleaning product to the point of being unbearable. I have never asked for a replacement room before, but there was no way we could have stayed in that room. The desk clerk found us an alternative room which smelled clean but not redolent. Hotel looks great from the outside....rooms are a little smelly and old. Kitchen was being "renovated" apparently so the promised eggs and breakfast buffet was packaged donuts, apples and tang. Pool area was nice, common areas are nice, hotel has potential but rooms need some serious updating.

The non- smoking room ended up smelling like smoke. Their breasfast was packaged good that look like they were purchased at 7-11. The king size bed was uncomfortable and smelled like someone had been smoking in it.

I reserved a room for my cousin and her fiancée while I stayed in another room with some friends. When we got into my cousin's room it hadn't been cleaned yet from the previous guests (unmade bed, towels on the floor, trash cans full). They gave us another room right away, which was clean but had a funny smell along with the hallway, not to mention […] my cousin found traces of weed in the drawers. The room I stayed in smelled like people had heavily smoked in it even though they were designated as non smoking. For one night, you get what you pay for, but this is the first bad experience I've had a a cheaper priced hotel. Least I know where not to go. Les mer

This hotel was terrible! The rooms were disgusting. I say "rooms" because I changed rooms twice and they were still unable to get me a room that was even decent. Transients live in this place, and the hotel doesn't seem to have standards any higher than that. I ended up leaving and going to a different hotel for the night. Don't stay here!

The hotel is in bad repair, except for the landscaping which is beautiful. Our first room had a broken air conditioner, and smelled of mold due to the dampness of the carpet. After being moved, our room was dry and cool, but the tub and shower drain was blocked, causing an enforced bath each time we took a shower.
