SUITES AT FISHERMANS WHARF - San Francisco

Wonderful super-friendly staff, great amenities for longer stays. We only stayed one night but will definitely be back and recommend this place to others.

The location was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I loved staying here. My room was HUGE with a seperate bedroom, loungroom and kitchen complete with cooking stuff and full size fridge. Great access to Fishermans Wharf and cable car that runs right outside and goes all the way to Union Square. Highly recommended!! This was a fantastic place to stay! The suite was very clean and spacious with a kitchen. The view from the rooftop patio is a must see. It was walking distance to many attractions and the cable car stop was right there to take you were you wanted to go that wasn't within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to go back!

I only wish our stay had been longer. I would have to rate this as a "10" experience in hotel/suites and will recommend our friends make a reservation here whenever their plans include San Francisco.

The hotel is a little plain on the outside, but the rooms are clean and spacious, and this is one of the best values in San Francisco. You'll start to hear some noise around 7:00 am since there is a cable car stop in front of the hotel, so maybe if you want to sleep in late, it's not the best choice, but if you want to be in a great location in a big […] room for a great value, this place is for you. Our trip to San Francisco was enhanced by our stay at the Suites at Fisherman's Wharf. The beds were comfortable, with great upscale linens, and we used the other amenities of the room as if we were at home. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. The Suites at Fishermans Wharf are an extrememly good place to stay. Close to all the major tourist spots and a lovely hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and willing to help out in any way. The view from the roof top is fantastic and the room was huge. The massive couch made it great for when you came back after a big day of walking and the kitchen […] was very handy. The only downside which was fairly minor was that we had a road facing apartment and sometimes you could hear road noise from outside. This wasn't a big problem but. this hotel fit our needs perfectly. We were only in San Francisco one night so this was a great location and loved the rooftop patio views. Suite was like a small apartment, we were very pleased with all the amenities.

We started our holiday and finished our holiday at this hotel and couldn't have done better. The rooms are spacious, great location and the service good. Very handy to all transport. We will be back.

Hotel room was a great size and four of us fitted no problem. The hotel was handy to everything and in December the view over the bay was spectacular at night with fantastic sunsets. Thanks

We were visiting for the weekend of the Nike Women's Half Marathon I was participating in. The hotel was great. The hotel was in an idle location for a tourist visiting the city. A block or two from the pier and conveniently located not far from Little Italy and China Town if you want to walk. The staff was great. The rooms were beautifully renovated […] and the views from the rooms were amazing. You could actually see Alcatraz! When I asked to have a late check-out b/c I was participating in the race, they notified me that they couldn't give me a later time then 11am since they were under staffed. I was surprised since it was a marathon weekend and the city was packed but even more so it turned out their check-out time is 10am! which I was a bit surprised. My husband and I finally convinced them to allow us to check out by 12pm. The other thing we found a bit odd, and I’m not sure if this was in every room but our shower/restroom door was a sliding door and it didn't fully close. Not much privacy especially since the toilet was near the door. I guess that would be my only complaint. Les mer

Fantastic location at the bottom of Hyde Street which is one of the roads that the trams run on. Walking distance to piers, restaurants and bars, supermarket. Excellent view of the habour and Alcatraz from the 3rd floor roof.

Such a great location: one block from Ghirardelli Square, other direction is one block from Fisherman's Wharf. The one bedroom suite was huge. The separate bedroom was nice, moderate size, large closet & comfortable bed. The bathroom was moderate size with plentiful and tropical-scented toiletries. The large living room included a sectional with a […] pull out couch, end and coffee tables + a dinette table. The kitchen is long & narrow but had everything you need to cook a dinner and for us was perfect for a quick bite before heading out for sight-seeing. And there was even an outside balcony & roof-top access; however during our stay it was raining... so we did not get to enjoy these amenities. The exterior could use a bit of an update, and there was painting going on so this could change. Nevertheless, hotel was absolutely wonderful. Had a huge corner suite that was over 600 sq feet, with views of Alcatraz and the bridges. The roof top was a wonderful place to unwind with a glass of wine, or to start the day with a cup of coffee. Staff was […] beyond helpful, and let us leave our car for a few hours after checkout. Gave excellent recommendations for lunch, and for winery tours in Napa. Having a kitchen was extra nice, everything was well appointed and spotless. Will definitely stay here again. The cable car does go right by the hotel, but noise was not unbearable. Les mer

Great Time Great View Great Location

We rented 2 suites in July 2011 for 3 nights. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice they were. Very clean and comfortable, with full kitchen, large livingroom and bedroom. Flat screen TVs in bedroom and living room. We did not have a car for the 3 days we were there - it's a bit of a walk to pier 39, but very doable, and I am not much of a walker. […] It's a couple of blocks from the waterfront and all the noise there. Plenty of places to eat breakfast very nearby. Ghiardelli's is right down the street and there is a fun 50's-style diner there, and a couple of breakfast places right down Hyde street. The people at the front desk could not have been nicer, helping us with directions and suggestions. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, and also a cable car stop, as well as a bike and motor bike rental place. We hopped on a bus to take us partway to pier 33 for the Alcatraz tour and it was an easy walk from there. Beautiful view of Alcatraz island from the roof deck. Les mer

If you are looking for the ultimate San Fran experience , I would highly reccommend this hotel, it really feels like your very own apartment in the heart of it all. While being fascinated by all these beautiful architectural buildings, I wondered what it would be like living in one. If your looking for a super quiet place , this isn't the right place […] for you, the trolleys run right outside the property. Parking is extra which is typical in San Fran. Our suite over looked fishermans wharf. You can go on the rooftop and bring your food up there or just relax and enjoy your view. The staff was fantastic. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. It was decently priced for that area. Close walking distance to many attractions. There were 5 of us traveling kids ranging from 9 year old to teens and they thought it was a very cool experience. Great location. Very spacious rooms with kitchen. Comfortable beds.

Although I only stayed one night, this was a great choice. The staff was very friendly when helping me plan my trip to the airport the following morning. The room was much larger than expected and very clean. There were signs placed around all of the towels and linens to "go green" and skip a wash if it's not needed. Lastly, the view from the rooftop […] deck is great. You can see all over the wharf, the golden gate, and Alcatraz is practically in front of you. Les mer

Excellent value for the price. The rooftop view of San Francisco Bay was outstanding. Very comfortable room - a step up from the "European" - read 'tiny" rooms available at other hotels in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location for Fishermans Wharf based holiday. Bike rental near-by, as well as Bella Vista Cafe. Great roof terreace for views. Apartment has everything you'll need. Staff very helpful.

The location was `fabulous. The hotel was better then expected. They were very accomodating at the hotel. My only complaint is check in is too late at 4pm and check out is too early at 10am. The rooftop had a incredible view, where we had our own happy hour.

Stayed 3 nights and the location was perfect. Close to restaurants, bars, transport etc. Staff were very helpful. Room had far more ameneties than the other hotels we stayed in on our trip. So nice to be able to make a cup of tea and take a cold beer out of the fridge. Laundry was also a plus and very reasonable.

I highly recommend the Suites at Fisherman's Wharf. The room was fantastic. It was spacious, clean, conveniently located, and it had a great view. The staff gave the best service I have ever experienced at a hotel. I simply have NO criticisms of this hotel! Next time I come to SF, I hope to stay here again.

Jessica listened to our requirements for a one day tourist trip. Sourdough bread, fisherman's wharf, tour bus ride, cable car and no hill climbing. She told us to catch bus 47 in front of the hotel to the wharf, eat sourdough bread at Boudin's, catch the open air tour bus, get off at Union Square, catch the cable car and get off at the cable car stop […] beside the hotel door. She even included discount coupons. And I did hang on the side of the cable car just like a tourist should. Great job, Jessica Les mer

We stayed there only for a night, coming on a road trip from Los Angeles to San Fransisco but checking out the next morning we only had one comment: we would have knew it was like that we would have stayed longer ! The rooms are perfect for a long stay : room, living room, kitchen, bathroom ... and the location near the Wharf make it a nice location […] to move around in SF. Les mer

This apartment style hotel is fantastic, the staff are more than helpful and the location is perfect. Close (2 mins walk) to the famous Fishermans Warf area and public transport, you can get straight into the San Francisco experience. In the area you are spoilt with your choice of restaurants, and things to see. San Francisco is my favourite city […] to visit and now I have a new place to stay next time we are here. Les mer

一泊しましたが、連泊で泊まりたかったです！キッチンは広くて、屋上もながめが良く海が目の前でした。部屋の作りはリビング、キッチン、バス、寝室とすべて別れて一日では使いきれないほど広かったです。値段も安かったので、次は連泊で泊まりたいと思います。専用駐車場もあったので安心でした！近くにスーパーもあります！ベット寝心地が最高でした。

全体的には良かった。　部屋があまり使われていなく換気がされていなかったせいか、部屋に入ったときの臭いが気になった。ロケーションは抜群。ケーブルカーの駅に近く、朝の散歩にフィッシャーマンズ・ワーフに行けてとても良かった。受付が親切で対応も良かった。

Gelegen op 1 blok ( 2 min. lopen) vanaf Pier 41, met naast het hotel een tramhalte van de welbekende cable car. Met andere woorden, dichtbij 2 bekende trekkers in San Fransisco. Daarnaast was de kamer groot (ruime woonkamer met een comfortabele bank) een zeer goed uitgeruste keuken en het was ook nog eens prima slapen in het luxe bed. Ook over het personeel […] niets dan goeds. Voor ons was dit hotel een hele goede afsluiting van onze rondreis door Amerika. Les mer
