The Place Apartment Hotel - Manchester

Med tre personer (1 par+ 1 barn) var dette mer enn stort nok for oss. Litt bråkete på kvelden (mye fester i baren under), og dårlig mat på roomservice; ellers en leilighet vi slappet bra av i, og vil bruke igjen.

Vi ble positivt overrasket over The Place. Hotellet er mye bedre enn hva bildene viser,og leilighetene er virkelig bra. Servicen er upåklagelig.

Hotellet var bedere en jeg hadde forventet, passer til både vennegjenger og familier på tur.

Meget bra hotel som passer perfekt når mann reiser flere ilag, hotellet ligger meget sentralt i Manchester.

The best hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Large spacious rooms, extremely clean and well maintained, comfortable beds, beautiful building, great staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Place Apartment Hotel is convenient to downtown Manchester and Picadilly Station. The rooms are large and the facilities (cooking, dishwashers, clothing washer/dryers) are a strong plus. The rooms are well prepared and the staff is very helpful when asked. This visit was a bit better than prior ones because our room overlooked the canal boat basin so was a bit quieter than rooms looking out towards Picadilly.

right beside train station , very central location to city centre, nice hotel stayed here with parents and daughter aged 14, 2 bedroom apartment, only natural light was a window in one of bedrooms , but you get used to this felt very safe here, no rowdiness, had a few hen parties over the weekend but they werent too disturbing , yes would recommend staying here, suitable for all young and old

I would recommend staying in this hotel even if just for one night. Its in a prime location, close to the centre. Rooms are clean, spacious and modern. The extra room is good for more than 2 people. I.e living area, kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent place to stay! Would go again!

Could not find any faults with this hotel. Great appartments and very good restaurant. Staff very friendly.

The appartment based hotel has the advantage of somewhat larger space and kitchen area etc. than a normal hotel. For a family of four and a short stay this hotel is ideal given the location and a reasonable price. Living room is dark and pretty public as the windows are orientated inwards in the building and anybody on your flor can peep if you don't shut down curtains completely. Bedrooms and beds are fine, but the maintenance standard is not up to 4 stars rating, 3 stars would be appropriate. Service is good and staff well trained. Hotel market itself for parties which means that despite the thick warehouse walls some noise can disturbe at night.

we were finishing our trip to wales with a couple of days in manchester to check out the city and take it easy. this was the perfect place. the kitchen had a fridge and a freezer, plus many more amenities that we did not need for such a short stay. we were able to grab a six pack of beer on our walk home, throw it in the fridge, and have a few drinks in the room as we wound down from a day of walking. hotel staff were helpful with questions as far as what to go out and see as well as getting us a cab at 6 am for our flight. i would highly recommend the place.

The hotel is ideally located near train station. surprisingly quiet for a hotel that was so central. Ideal for families.

Great location near Picadilly Train Station and large, comfortable rooms. Only stayed for one night but found it comfortable and conducive to international travel. Was able to do laundry, organize, and relax in the middle of a long business trip. Didn't get to spend much time in the local area or try the bar or restaurant, but I plan to be back.

the apartment was well equiped though starting to look shabby with furnishings and laminate floor looking worn. more 3* than 4*. The worst thing was the night time bar noise from out side the hotel. the bedrooms are single glazed and we were on the fourth floor . The noise level was such that I had to sleep with my children in the next room, because I could not be sure if I was hearing them or the outside noise. The staff however were very pleasant and helpful. and brekfast was great.

I've stayed at the Place twice now, in a 1 bedroom apartment. The apartments have adequate room and the kitchen is EXCELLENT - they supply all cutlery but more impressively the washing up liquid for dishes, tablets for washing machine and dishwasher! You can pay same price for a Crowne Plaza but you don't get half as much for your money. The Place even has secure parking for £9 which is better than some other hotel's I looked into in Manchester. Also the location is great, you are minutes away from main shopping area.... You cannot go wrong!

My girlfriend and I stayed at The Place for two nights on Valentines weekend. We have never been to Manchester before and hoped to sample the local nightlife whilst we were there also. The apartment was pretty much everything we had hoped for. It was very spacious, cosy, very clean and had all amenities we needed. Also having a hotel style front desk meant we had access to room service. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also very good value for money. Car parking is not included in the room price, and is a little on the steep side at £9 a night. The Place is situated in a good place for shopping, with the Arndale Centre about a ten minute walk away. All in all, I would definately recommend this aparthotel. Very enjoyable weekend.

Location right next to Piccadilly station very convenient for overnight trips eg, to see late evening ManU games. Last visit was with my son and the apartment hotel was more than adequate for us both. We certainly did not expect a one-bed apartment with all the adjoining rooms and space.

room cleanliness is a major issue here, the only upside of this place is location

The Apartment Hotel exceeded our expectations..Four of us were traveling together, we had a two bedroom apartment, each with our own bathroom, a lovely and complete kitchen, very modern. It was an old warehouse converted to this lovely place to stay. We would definetly stay there again. Oh yes, it was a five minute walk to the train station..We all recomend this hotel.

The hotel was in a great location, and is also very quiet, which was essential after a long drive from London. We were upgraded upon arrival which was a nice surprise, and the apartment was fantastic. It has everything you need, and in modern taste too. The Hotel offers parking at good rates which I would recommend, as it left us free to enjoy our time in Manchester, rather than going for the local NCP.

Hotel is ok - very good size rooms and friendly helpful staff. Nice bar area. However rooms could have been cleaner (found a number of hairs in the shower - indicating it hadn't been cleaned since the last guest) and it was noisy at night - the atrium set-up means that if a door is slammed it echoes around the building. However good value for the price and well-located so I would stay again.

The hotel is lovely. The room was very nice, clean and comfertable. Parking is quite tight in the 2 floor underground carpark but offers a convenient facility - the fact that you have to pay £7.50 a night seems excessive for this facility. However, there was a feeling that something was missing. I expected the appartment itself to be a bit bigger too (this was only a one bed). The seld shutting (or should I say slamming) doors is quite irratating also. On the whole though good accomodation in a very central location. I'd say 7.5 out of 10 overall.

Great location. Nice apartment, felt like home, which can't be a bad thing!

Its an impressive design and great space within the apartment, but completely ruined by lumpy uncomfortable mattresses on slatted beds that squeak on every move you make. Having a coach party congregate outside our bedroom window at 4.00 am didnt help the sleep process either. Pleased to get home for a good nights sleep

This fully refurbished mill is wonderful to visit. It is conveniently located next to Manchester Piccadilly train station and minutes away from the city centre and the social social of Manchester. The apartments are beautifully furnished and very welcoming. The down sides to The Place included :- Disappointing level of customer service received from the reception desk Lack of lifts from the car park to the reception desk could affect people with limited mobility

This hotel is a 5min walk from the train station, and only a few minutes away from the hustle & bustle of the city centre. The apartment is pleasantly laid out and contains all the things you'd think of needing. Overall it was clean, but some of the fixtures/fittings were slightly worse for wear. Still recommend for the odd night. Breakfast is expensive at £9.95 too.

Super pour un séjour en famille. 2 grandes chambres + séjour + cuisine très bien équipée + 2 sdb wc. Belle hôtel dans un grand bâtiment industriel bien réhabilité. Proche centre ville : à pied et parking payant sur place.

Perfect location, next to Piccadilly Station, close to the center and very convinience to all you need to do and have fun in Manchester City. The Hotel is very clean and confortable.
