Excellent staff. About 10 minutes from Eden Prairie. A great find! A beautiful running path around the pond behind the hotel.

This was an easy find from the Renaissance Festival. It was quiet and friendly. Staff was very nice and helpful. Need a sign in front of the building that designates it as a hotel/motel. We were not sure that we were at the right place until we went in to check.

Overall a well run hotel with amenities targeted towards business travelers. Staff was well trained and helpful. Even though I checked in late (after midnight) staff was alert and sharp getting me checked in quickly and helping me with luggage. The hotel is designed with convention and meetings in mind so I wouldn't use it for a family vacation. Wi-Fi […] worked great through the hotel and on site dining was above average. This place has a major humidity problem, as in the carpet was damp throughout our 4-day, 3-night stay. I guess we should have figured that out, when the "Guest Services" included a DEhumidifier (at an extra charge) along with the rest of the normal extras like a roll-away bed or child's crib. Anyone with mold allergies should steer clear of this place. […] Though the grounds and the amenties were sightly, we never got over the feeling that this was more of a conference center for office team building than hotel/resort. We enjoyed our stay at Oak Ridge. The staff is superb--very solicitous and willing to go the extra mile to satisy us. We took a walk around the lake every day and enjoyed some meals there which were delicious. Beautiful place. The signage could have been better though. When we arrived after 11PM, we were not sure that this was, in fact, a hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and in the morning, we were able to see the lovely grounds. The hotel is quite secluded and would make a nice weekend getaway or corporate retreat. I was not prepeared for what I found when I arrived at the Oakridge Hotel. I actually drove back out to ask directions at a filing station when I first pulled in(this was at about midnight) because this doesn't look like a hotel but is a full blown conference center. The staff were always courteous and helpful. The workout opportunities were fabulous. […] The path around the lake was beautiful and checking out a bicycle couldn't have been easier. Even though there were weddings and activities going on in the evenings I couldn't hear them once i got to my room. The room was comfortable and well kept. I was delighted with everything, especially because the cost was quite reasonable. I will stay here again next time I go up to the area for work! Les mer

This hotel caters to the conference set. It has many amenities on site - lovely restaurant, bar and fitness centre. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to requests. It sits a the edge of a lake so the surrounding area is beautiful and there is a path around the lake for walking or running. The room was comfortable although small. There are […] lots of windows and some of them even open for fresh air! However, a fridge in the room would be nice and convenient addition. If you want to explore the town, visit a restaurant or do some shopping a car is required as the resort is some distance from either. Les mer

Everyone helpful, extensive grounds, secluded area, very comfortable accommodations, good ambiance, set up to be a conference center..or site for large affairs, and is well suited to do this. at the same time gave very good service to a small party.

The Oak Ridge is primarily a conference center that also functions as a hotel. Some of the amenities expected in hotel are extra cost amenities. The most glaring issue was the absence of a mini refrigerator in the room. The rooms are sized for a single bed rather than two resulting in cramped quarters in room with two beds. The showerhead needed to […] be upgraded to match the quality in other equivalent facilities. Guest room as located away from the core of the facility. Be prepared for long walks from the lobby (the only entrance) to your room. The distance is an advantage when the dining room was used for special events. The level of produced by the event that could be heard in the room was reduced significantly by the distance. The exterior of the facility is beginning to show wear due to winter oxidation of masonry and concrete. The guest parking areas are located at a distance from the lobby. Valet service was not available. Our key cards for the room had to be re-coded twice during the week we stayed at Oak Ridge. The Front Desk staff was polite, professional, and responsive. Housekeeping did a good job with the exception of one day when wet towels were not replaced. Les mer

We needed a hotel near my mother-in-law's home and I got a great treat to have found this awesome hotel, the Oak Ridge. I would highly recommend this lovely facility to anyone travelling to this area. Thank you, hotels.com!!!

Double-bed rooms are small for a family of 4. Buffet in restaurant was somewhat expensive. This hotel is suited for conferences and meetings. The only good surprise was their racquetball and basketball courts. Other than that, there is not much else to do. I checked out one day early.

The Oak Ridge Hotel is an excellent place to stay in the Minneapolis area as long as you don't mind adding some travel time. It's a little out of the way in Chaska but the quiet of the neighborhood and the excellence of the hotel and it's amenities are well worth the extra time!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderfully relaxing time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is tucked away by a lake, and there are so many options for relaxing and recreation right on the campus of the hotel.
