Vi skulle sove der en natt å da er dette hotellet helt greit. Billig, bra frokost, rent rom og gre str på rommet. Ligger rett ved et sumpområde. Ikke spes koselig når man bader i bassenget. Men for en natt, helt greit. Ville ikke feriert der over lenger tid.

Stort og flokk kjøkken men kun 4 av alt bestikk og servise, manglet vinåpner, ingen vinglass, ingen kjøkkenbord for familien på 5 å spise rundt. 10 dollar natta ekstra for parkering. Pluss for supert bassengområde. Kan trygt anbefales, men ikke ha store ambisjoner om kokkelering for familien.

Flott beliggenhet; kort vei til restauranter og kafeer, og en fantastisk strand rett utenfor bassenget! Hit kommer vi gjerne igjen; ikke verdens største basseng, men hyggelige folk som jobbet her og flott service veier opp;..og den flotte stranden med solsenger og servering rett utenfor var verdt det hele. Kan i det hele att anbefales!

Hardly anyone at the front office lobby. He was always outside smoking and talking with another man that didn't work there. Two men that were not guest at the hotel kept coming in and out of the hotel and no one dos anything. Quite dangerous if you ask me. Door would not open and we waited with life outside for 10 minutes in the cold while someone came […] up to fix it. The bed sheets had holes in it. The sofa bed matress was soaked in urine. "Baymont Inn - Perfect for USF/Busch Gardens Trip"
The most attractive feature of this hotel is its location close to USF and Busch Gardens. I didn't have the time to visit Busch Gardens but, from the hotel, I only drove 5 minutes or less to my meeting at USF. Rooms are clean, nice and spacious bathrooms, good views, swimming pool, but NO Gym (only real downside).
We did not feel safe at all in this hotel. The hallway reeked of marijuana smoke, there were intoxicated people seated on a stairway. There was no sign of security. I was looking over my shoulder walking from my vehicle to the hotel and through the halls of the hotel. This is not an area or hotel that I would use again, especially with my wife and […] children. "BUG INFESTED; can't determine: fleas/ticks/bedbugs"
First off, this is my first hotel review I'm writing. I never really have anything bad to write for my stays are hotels. But this stay was so horrible that I need to take my time in writing the following. I hope you read this and do stay away from this poorly-called establishment. My good friend Carlo and I went down to visit Tampa just to get away […] from the cold of NYC/NJ and work. We stayed at this hotel because it was fairly inexpensive and extremely close to Busch Gardens. The check-in to our two queen bed non-smoking room was easy and fast. The front desk help was very courteous. The room is very comfortable and big, but there was this smoker's stink to it. I went down to check if it was a non-smoking room and they confirmed it was. To make sure our stay was satisfying, the front desk changed our room to a non-smoke smelling room. There are many restaurants and food stores near by to order in or go take-out. At our first night, my friend got bitten a few times. First, I thought it was a mosquito bite but it wasn't at random spots but it was in a row. We went to a nearby CVS pharmacy because it was itchy but the pharmacist even said it's not a mosquito bite but most probable that they're flea/tick/bedbug bites. We bought some medicine and one of the bug sprays to spray around the bed and on the floors throughout our room. We did go to the front desk and showed the bites on arms and face. We were told that the report would be forwarded to the manager but even to this date, we still haven't heard from them. We were given another room. The next day, we saw people who were cleaning our previous room with "chemicals." Unfortunately, my friend still got bitten that night again.. yes, that's right.. in a different room. Since we were only staying three nights we slept fully clothed. My friend had to leave early when work back at home called. I stayed at the hotel for my last night, but I got bitten. "close to busch gardens but not very clean"
Staff was polite. Toilet did not work. After 2 times being told it was fixed we were moved xmas eve 2 doors down. Pool was warm some days and too icy others. The hot tub is filled in and not in use. Feet got black from the carpeting. When we were moved no bedding for sleeper sofa, relative brought bedding, pillows, towels to us since hotel couldn't […] locate any for us. The shuttle to busch gardens was very accomodating and would make multiple trips to give everyone a ride. It is right around the corner from a police and fire station so frequent sirens. Same lady worked stocking the breakfast each day we were there, some days things were well stocked, other days lacking. Also some days they shut it down way earlier than posted time. But, since it was one person by herself and people weren't particularly nice to her, don't blame her. They really needed another person there. Also there were people obviously off the street hanging at the pool and breakfast who were pretty shady. In the 10 days we were there only 3 times were our beds done/room clean. Was a daily thing after being out/ getting in late to take our own trash out and go get clean towels (if they had any). I guess for a night or 2 it would be great if you wear shoes and don't mind dirty bathroom. But for a longer stay they definitely were lacking. Les mer

For us this was very adequate. Convenient to U. of Tampa, Lettuce lake park (fun birds) and 20 minutes from Bayshore Blvd. and Ybor City. "Good for going to Busch Gardens"
not the newest or cleanest, but the staff was very nice and we slept well. the free shuttle to busch gardens was great. had a nice pool and breakfast bar. there was a tv in the front room and bedroom but one was broken. the fridge and microwave worked good. if you are just going to the park and sleeping at hotel it is great for the price.
"Clean & Comfortable"
Great deal on the room. The night person at the desk was very friendly (more so than the day person) and we were very comfortable. The elevator had a few issues but it wasn't a big deal. We would stay there again!

The hotel looked clean from outside and lobby but our room was dirty and it appeared that the sheets had not been changed as they had hair and other debris on them. There was also a hole in the couch that looked like it had been made from a cigarette even though it was a nonsmoking room. Great location and price. Room clean and spacious. Carpet needs updating. Staff was very nice. Offers shuttle to busch garden, which was a plus. "Great Location to Busch Garden's"
The hotel is in a great location to Busch Garden's, which is the reason we were there, The free shuttle is from the hotel to Busch Gardens also helps out to save money for parking. The rooms are suites so it has a separate sitting area from the room which adds some more space for the family. The staff is pretty neutral, not rude but not very friendly […] either. We washed a load of clothes while we were staying there and someone stole our clothes. When my husband went to the front desk to complain about it the front desk person told him he would have to come back late to talk about it because he had to check guests in. That was a let down to us because our son had only one pair of clothes left out of the three sets we washed. The neighbor hood is kind of rough near the hotel. Overall, you get what you pay for at this hotel. We were at the park for two days so we weren't in the room that often and the shuttle and pool at the hotel are the main highlights. Les mer

"Much better than expected"
After reading reviews of other surrounding hotels I was concerned about what we were getting into. We went for a funeral so there weren’t many options of where to stay in regards to price and location. The reviews for this hotel were far better than the others for other locations I read so I took the chance as it was in the same price range. I was […] pleasantly surprised. The hotel was perfectly located. They let us check-in 4 hours early, without hesitation. The room was spacious and surprisingly clean (except for the carpets). The price was perfectly in our budget. The bed was comfy and the pillows were great. The towels were typical hotel size (small) but they were soft. The ONLY negative is the carpets desperately need to be cleaned or replaced. After my toddler walked around for 10 min, her feet turned black. Other than that, the room was very clean! No mold, or dust or any other negatives. We just wore socks the whole time. Hotel has just changed to Baymont name from retiring from another chain. Hotel is older in a poor neighbour hood and has no food facilities close by. Just putting in security cameras. "Needs Updating"
Used this hotel for a trip to Busch Gardens. Location was very close to the park, and shuttle to park was handy. Front desk personnel were friendly and receptive. Room itself, though large, needs updates and felt like it needed a thorough cleaning. Beds were hard, uncomfortable. TV remote did not work and was missing the battery cover - obviously not […] noticed during room cleaning. Outdated dropped ceiling in 70's style vanity area in poor shape. Broken "on" light on coffee maker so could not tell if on or not. Several bugs noticed in coffee maker counter area. Sofabed was not used, but covering was dirty and worn. Loud argument at pool table near pool area clearly heard in room around 9:30pm. Bathroom walls, tub area seems to have been more recently updated than rest of room. The price for this room was low, but I would probably pay the extra $10 - $15 and stay in a nearby newer hotel next time. Les mer

"Exactly what I needed, nothing special though"
If you just need a place to sleep, and nothing extravagant then this is the place. Everything is basic and could be more modernized. The building and the furniture are very early 90's looking which is about how old the stuff might be. But I was able to sleep and head to my interview without being tired so it did it's job. "Lost Shuttle Bus Driver"
This hotel was great. Especially for the price. The only problem we had was the shuttle bus was supposed to pick us up at Busch Gardens and the hotel said that they lost the shuttle bus driver. But they told us to take a taxi and they would pay which they kept their word.

I loved staying at this hotel, I was surprised at how big and nice the room was, it had a separate living room/common area with a pull out sofa bed, coffee table and tv. Then the bedroom was separated with a door and a nice bathroom. It even had a lil screened in patio. Also right outside our room was a bar area with tvs on the right and the swimming […] pool to the left. The hotel is very close to all kinds of stores, a mall and a theme park. the carpet could've been a little cleaner but other than that it was great. "bad rooms"
i got a smoking room that smelled like a mole, broken sofa bed and moist carpet. i had to buy allergy medicine and request a room change. then they gave us keys to a occupied room and had to apologize to the person in it. we then got a room that the overview lights would burn out and make a humming noise if it stayed on. then the a/c started to smell […] like burned rubber. when we checked out i was give a one day refund. i would not recommend this hotel. This had a great layout for the two room suite with kitchenette....sofa bed was ripped on inside - the amenities was great open to guests were teh pool tables and ping pong tables - the swimming pool all nice - I just had bad luck with other guests ..there were too many people up late shouting outside and cooking a BBQ in the parking lot - the staff […] should have controlled that better but did not - we could not sleep two of our four nights - other wise it was a nice place. This place was very close to Busch Gardens and was clean and comfortable. We have paid more for rooms on Disney premises in Orlando that were much smaller and not near as nice as this place. I would stay here again if in this area.
The general hotel layout was extremely awkward (had to park far away from room, and walk a distance to get downstairs just to get to the lobby. Broken elevator, cabinet door below sink broken, skimpy "free breakfast," and old, run-down neighborhood all contributed to a somewhat negative experience.
