Nice hotel with central location downtown. The building is old, but dignified and the rooms are absolutely at an acceptable standard. Many have commented that the bathrooms are old, but they are clean, they work and there is hot water in the tap – so it should not bother you if you are not overly dependent of modern facilities. Actually, it only underlines the theme of the hotel/ club. Be aware that there is a dress code in all restaurants; business casual is the standard. My only complaints from the stay would be a rather expensive breakfast and an extreemly unstable WiFi. The latter was extreemly anying when trying to get some work done and sending emails. But, if you are looking for a pricy alternative in downtown St. Louis with a flair of 19th century USA this is the place!

Hotellet ligger downtown St. Louis og midt i konferanseområdet. I gaten som hotellet ligger i er det mange restauranter og utesteder. Stort hotell som består av to deler der den andre del er en suite-del. Hadde en suite som var enorm i forhold til prisen jeg betalte. Et flott hotell som anbefales.

Got a smoking room, right off of the highway, very noisy and very odorous. We had to open the window, which made it even more difficult to sleep. We are non-smokers. No other rooms were available and we had arrived late in the evening, as planned, for just a one night stay.

Close to the airport. The room was clean and new carpet in the hallway. The staff was friendly and it was a quiet night at the hotel. The breakfast was wonderful. It was a good value for the small amount we spent in the room.

If you are looking for convienence & a bed to sleep on, look no further. If you're looking for 5 star service...well... We were only staying one night. We chose this location because the hotel shuttle dropped us off by the metro (which was PERFECT. Kudos to the shuttle driver. His customer service was great). When we arrived, we waited for almost 15 […] minutes to get checked in (even though there were only 2 women in front of us). I felt the front desk could have done a better job greeting us, "Good evening folks. I'll be with you in a few moments." When it was our turn, he offered no apology for our wait. I felt like our business wasn't appreciated. The "breakfast" is a voucher you take to the ajoining restaurant. You have to use it between 6:30-9:30 am. I'm glad this is offered, but we slept in. I rated customer service a 3 due to the poor front desk but great shuttle driver. The hotel was clean & quiet (except for the fact that it's across from the airport...you can hear planes) so I rated a 4. The pillows are WAY too small, so comfort a 3. It's not perfect, but fit the bill for our needs. Les mer

Very nice location for running to the airport. All was well. The breakfast is actually in the resteraunt next door - was very nice....so hotels.com says they have the lowest rate - the hotel said they don't charge for extra people in the room when you walk in - today I called hotels.com and they HOTELS.COM ACTUALLY REFUNDED ME THE $10 CHARGE - and were […] very kind! "Airport Area Hotel"
The neighborhood was alright but for the price not worth it. Only one washcloth in bathroom.We could hear every plane takeoff and everyone in the hall and rooms next to ours. The tub was stained.

the rooms are in need of an update and the hotel was very noisy. Also the shuttle was not big enough for the crowd that needed to board it. I would opt next time for the Hilton Garden.

"Not recommended.."
There was dirt all over the floor, hair all over the bathroom, beds were not comfortable, light bulbs were out and not replaced, linen smelt like it had not been washed in a few weeks. Also if you want a smoking room, your all the way on the bottom at the very end of the hotel. Hotel also promises free parking for guests while they are gone on their […] trip, however I had to pay additional for this. I was promised an upgrade to a one bed from a two bed and when I checked in, they told me otherwise, even when I had it in writing. I think next time, I will spend the extra $20 and go stay at the Hilton.. Les mer

For the price the hotel was well worth it. Right off I70 it was easy to find, check in was easy but make sure you ask to get a parking pass thing. "Fine for conveniece and price"
Our bedding (blankets and sheets) had cigarette burns in our non-smoking room. The free breakfast next door went over well with our family though. Probably won't stay there again, but it wasnt horrible.

When I have an early flight (since I have to drive 2 hours to get to the airport), I always stay here. Low price and a decent room, just two minutes from the airport. Night check-in is always pleasant. I don't ask for much...just a comfortable room.

I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was awesome and the service was extremely friendly and generous. The only issue was the smell in the room because the room was previously a smoking room converted to a non-smoking room, therefore the scent of smoke was still in the room. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

Hotel was under going construction, so lobby was dirty, hallway carpets were not clean. Carpet in room did not appear to have been vacuumed thoroughly in quite a long while. Close to the airport is about the only good thing about the property. I booked there because it had a free shuttle service to the airport. It was dirty...the TV channel selection was horrible, it didn't even offer CBS! There was no furniture in the room....just two beds. I could go on and on. Needless to say, I won't be staying here again.

The room was not very clean. In fact it felt so dirty that we slept in our clothes. The coffee machine still have the coffee grounds from the last user in it. The room stunk. The lobby was nice enough and the staff was friendly. It took quite a while to get hot water to the first floor room I was in.

Old and run down, carpets have burn spots and they are stained. Kept getting calls in the middle of the night, no elevator, conditioner loud, had no towels when I got into the room and internet access signal was not available.

I travel quite a bit and typically stay in nicer hotels, but I flew in one night for a concert and didn't want to break the bank for a place to sleep so I went with this airport option. The selling point for me came in the airport shuttle and the prime location. Well. The shuttle provided by the motel did not run regularly and individual patrons have […] to call for the shuttle to come around. And the shuttle isn't really a shuttle so much as a minivan. A minivan which individual patrons -- like me -- had to wait in excess of an HOUR at the airport. Remember, this motel is literally a ten minute walk away. Once I got to the motel, I had a hold up at check-in and the room I got put in had a non-functioning shower. This lead to having to move rooms. At check out, I did get a breakfast coupon for the diner next door (and the breakfast actually was very very good). However, the shuttle back to the airport had to fit myself and six others in a small minivan. Not a great experience. I recommend coughing up the extra money for a nearby hotel with regularly running shuttles and a name you can trust. Les mer

The room was okay but the entrance from the outside was very dirty and unkept plus there was a terrible odor. The remote control didn't work and neither did the replacement. The "free" wi-fi was unavailable as the host server could not serve yahoo.

The hotel is very convenient to the St Louis airport and has a free shuttle running every 30 minutes. The room was reasonably clean and had air conditioning which functioned. The front desk personnel were courteous. The maintenance of the hotel was substandard. The drain in the tub did not work, so I could not fill the tub to bathe. Our room was Dirty, Dead Bugs in Bathroom on floor. Old food items on carpet under Chairs and Desk. Air Cond unit keep us awake by it sound. Breakfast was good.

"3 times and out"
My co-work had a very bad experience with the room I rented for him. When we returned from dinner, the toilet had leaked black water across the bathroom floor. The hotel moved him to a room where the door would not lock. They then, very late, moved him to a room that smelled bad where he spent the rest of the night. "decent price for location"
Really good price for a hotel room but hotel needs some work done or changes. The phone in our room didn't work at all and we had to ask front desk for remote to the television. It took longer for someone to come look at the phones and bring remote than it did for the pizza delivery guy to bring our pizza even in a storm. Even after looking at the phone […] and trying a different one it still never worked so wake up calls had to be done through our cell phones. Hall ways were hot and humid, the fitness room was hot and the air didn't work nor did the exercise equipment. the plus in this hotel is it was cheap and right across from the airport that we needed to be at the next morning and they give you voucher for free breakfast at restaurant next door. "This was the dirtiest quality inn I have"
There was no A/C in the lobby or halls. I was given a key to an occupied room. The apperence was discusting.

The lobby and fitness center did not have air conditioning and it was 100 degrees outdoors. I chose this hotel for their outdoor pool and when I arrived, it was closed and had been for a couple of weeks. There was nothing indicating on the Quality Inn Web-site that their pool was closed. Very dissappointed. The room had a moldy musty smell and the air […] had to run on high to keep from being wet humid feeling as well as the smell got worse when we turned the air down. I was desperate during an unscheduled stay over in St. Louis due to tornadoes closing the airport so I took what they offered. The free shuttle was great and fast (although the driver was a grump!) and check-in was fine. When I got to the room, the light right inside the door did not work so I had to walk into a dark room. Only one light between the […] beds worked. There was no light switch plate on the light switch in the bathroom which I think could easily be called a major safety hazard! The front desk staff was not friendly when I checked out (granted it was 4:30 am but still...). For $10 more, I could have gotten a suite at a near-by Comfort Suites if I had been given that as an option. I would not recommend this Quality Inn. Les mer

The receptionist was not interested in helping us with anything. We had to wander around neighborhood to find some simple stuff that hotels have available to borrow - like a bottle opener. There was paper on the floor when we first walked in (hadn't been vacuumed). However, it was NOT as bad as a hotel I was once stuck in next to the Atlanta airport. […] So fortunately, compared to that Atlanta hotel, this hotel had clean white sheets (NOT stained), NO smokey smell, and they provided the basics such as shampoo and a hairdryer. "Disgusting Hotel"
Besides the helpfulness of the gentleman at the front counter, I would have to say this was the most disgusting hotel I have ever been to. The lobby was very misleading. Not that it was glamerous or anything, but at least clean and kept up somewhat well. However, once we reached the room it was a whole new story. The room was absolutely disgusting. […] Stains everywhere from the carpets to what looked like blood all over the bedskirts to God knows what was on the chair. The air conditioning didn't work well, so we had to open the window. Which is when we noticed the screen was so torn a mediium size animal could fit through it. The shuttle from the airport took almost an hour from the first time it was called to pick us and 2 other couples up. When it showed up it was a minivan that held exactly 6 passengers and some of the luggage in the back. The rest of the luggage had to be crammed onto our laps and anyother open space there was. And one more thing. I booked my reservation via hotels.com because I distinctly asked the representative if parking was free if we left our vehicle there while in Mexico as long as we reserved a room the day before we left and the day we got back. The representative said "Yes". Not so much. You only get free parking if you book straight from the hotel. That was the only reason I even booked this hotel to begin with. All and all, no way would I ever stay in that hole again!! Les mer

No elevator access - Had bags to carry up the stairs and service is quite slow. Shuttle was not on time late for 15 minutes. The toilet paper holder was broken and the room was extremely hot. I would never stay at this facility again. I will pay the price for a better quality.

Room was dark, drab, and carpet was filthy dirty. Large stains on carpet and chair. No I wouldn't stay there again without checking out room first.
"Service was good, condition bad"
The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful. The overall condition of the property was poor at best. They were doing some work on it at the time of my stay but the smell was horrible. Between paint and just overall bad odor I wasn't real happy for what I paid for it. The shuttle I took from them to the airport was very convenient.
