Kjempesentralt hotell i Gamlebyen,men godt gjemt resepsjon i hotellet Måtte gå gjennom en restaurant :/ Et stort minus var at det var veldig støyete.Vi bodde i 4 etg i et 4 mannsrom og sov dårlig hver natt :( Men som sagt : utrolig sentralt til alt og superfin by!!! Husk at taxien ikke kan kjøre helt frem til hotellet.

Hotel Maximillian er et hotel utenom det vanlige! Hotellet har en sjarmerende og hyggelig betjening, en ubeskrivelig frokost og sist men ikke minst; en beliggenhet som best kan beskrives som "midt i smørøyet", men likevel skjermet og i rolige omgivelser. Frokosten er nevnt, med det meste av utvalg pluss litt til (oppskåret frukt i mange varianter, franske oster osv). I tillegg til dette har de en egen meny der du kan bestille bl.a. omelett (bestem selv ingrediensene), egg i alle variasjoner, frisk smoothie osv. osv. Hotellet tilbyr organisert joggetur to ganger i uka for mogenfulgler (starter 07:15). Her tar en av de ansatte med interesserte gjester på en kombinert treningstur og sightseeing der treneren oppleves som en fullbefaren guide med detaljerte kunnskaper om byen. Topp! Vel verdt å nevne er også hotellets bar. Honesty Bar mangler bartender, og gjestene selv inviteres til å forsyne seg av alt fra cognac og wiskey, øl og vin, til kaffe og kaker eller bare et glass vann. Skriv deretter opp hva du har tatt og romnummer, så kommer det på regningen. Alltid hyggelig å bli stolt på. Hotell Maximillian var en av hovedgrunnene til at vi storkoste oss i Praha. Vi anbefaler hotellet på det varmeste!!!

Flott hotel med sentral beliggenhet. Kort vei til gamlebyen, og ingen støy om natten. God frokost og trivelig betjening. Hvis du ikke ønsker å benytte minibaren er det en kiosk 20 meter fra hotellet, med særdeles gode priser.

Turistene kommer til denne forstaden vest for byen for å besøke Mozart-museet i Villa Bertramka, hvor Mozart var gjest hos den tsjekkiske komponisten Dusek i 1787. Ikke lenge etterpå ble Smichovs vinranker og humleåkre erstattet av fabrikkpiper. I dag er mange av disse gamle industribygningene gjort om til barer, butikker og hoteller for en ny bølge av mennesker som vil bo sentrumsnært.

"La Boutique - en god base for å oppleve Praha"
Et stille og behagelig hotell hvor du knapt merker de andre gjestene. Helt grei standard, bra renhold og ok frokost. Med beliggenhet ca 20 min gange fra Karlsbroen, samt at det finnes kjøpesenter og fine restauranter i umiddelbar nærhet, så er dette en flott base for å oppleve fantastiske Praha.

Ett slitt hotel med grei beliggenhet til metro og buss samt spisesteder og handlesenter. Frokost OK og betjening uten serviceinnstilling - man får hva man betaler for??
Helt greit hotell.Litt mye trafikkstøy om morgenen.Frokostservering helt til kl 10.30,det var ett pluss.Syns det var enkel men grei mat.Kort spasertur til ett stort kjøpesenter og metrostasjonen låg like ved.Savnet noen flere tv kanaler.

Rent og pent bad, diger seng, safe på rommet, behagelige farger, veranda på rommet, ryddedama var ikke der tidlig, det var bra, frokosten avsluttet ikke så tidlig som mange andre plasser. Både gåavstand til sentrum og 4 minutter unna metro med gul linje, eller trikk og buss og taxiholdeplass.
"Disappointing service"
WE liked our room...very clean and nice, but the customer service was horrible. The room was 3 blocks from the main hotel. We were give 2 keys; one for the outside door and one for our room. The outside door key did not work well at all. After 2 nights, we went to the desk and complained. The girl at the desk said "I can't help you and we've never had […] any complaints." We persisted until she changed keys with us. The new key worked much better. Our room was 101A behind a door marked 101. We were not told that we had to use the outside key to unlock 101 and then we would find 101A. We walked back and forth trying to find out about our room so many times and the staff was extremely rude. Les mer
"Hotel La botique : Prague"
Allright rooms, but lack personality, though clean and tidy. Close to the mall Novy Smichov and a choice of cheap restaurants in the area,, close to metro station. Good breakfast. We had problems with the internet- connection, and it seemed that other guests had that too, yet the tecnician claimed the problem was in our computer which was wrong. "La Boutique Hotel - great value for long weekend"
Booked 'Junior One Bedroom Suite' for 3 adults in the main part of the hotel. Excellent size; 1 very spacious room with double/twin bed and a separate room with 5-seater corner sofa-bed, plus shower room. Only criticisms: lack of tea/coffee making facilities and wi-fi inaccessible from room. Good buffet breakfast selection (hot cooked food, cold meat/cheeses, […] salad, cereal, fruit, cake, bread/rolls, yoghurts etc). Very convenient for tram/metro into the centre from Andel. Far from the normal favorite sites, but we liked being removed from the tourist trail. The room was in the "Apartment", so the walk over to the main hotel for breakfast was a little inconvenient, but honestly, overall, for the price it was very nice. We stayed for 3 nights at the La Boutique (in "the apartments", rather than the main hotel building). Hotel is not so nice, room was clean but very basic and old and its a million miles away from its supposed 4 star status (I would say its more like 1 star hotel!). utrained, hideous staff at daytime. poor breakfast , pretty much the same every day. A room is quite large and comfortable. the hotel is close (5 minutes walk) to the Andél Metro/tram station. Staropramen beer factory next door to the hotel :)

I read nice reviews of this hotel but I guess they were about the main building. The separate building is very basic, 2-3 stars (no AC, 20'' TV with no real selection of channels, no toiletries, minimal plywood furnitures) and the enterance is terrible. "Our Recent Stay in Prague"
We chose this hotel because they said they have free parking. What they failed to mention is they only have 3 parking SPACES!! We stayed at their apartment house and it was just inconvenient! Once we found it, we had to maneuver in the DARK to get to the second floor. The lights were supposed to be automatic but they didn't turn on. Later we learned […] the switch was turned off. That can be very scary. The hotel isn't in the best neighborhood and for it to be in complete darkness and no lights that were already lit was very frightening!! There was no phone in the room! What if you didn't have a cell phone?? You had no way to call for help! The only thing I would rate well about this hotel was they had a breakfast buffet. They had a good selection. I would probably not recommend this to a friend. It will do in a pinch but for the price I paid and not feeling safe due to the lighting situation and no phones, it's not worth it! Les mer

"Nice hotel- not a great area"
I am familiar with Prague so staying in a hotel away from the main sights was fine because I know how to navigate the tram and metro systems. Nice hotel, clean rooms, and friendly staff, although as some of the other reviewers noted it's not located in the best area. A few streets to the north and you're fine, but this area was next to a beer factory […] and not so great. Would not recommend if you have families or want to stay in a romantic area. Les mer

"Cheap weekend break in Prague"
The hotel is a little out of the city but jump on a tram or metro at Andel and you're in the city in minutes. The room was very comfortable and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was on par with other hotels in Prague (3/5 for breakfast). Minibar is reasonable priced.

We had reserved 2 rooms and even though they were very clean there was a lot of disparity between the two rooms. One was spacious and fully remodeled and the other one was very small and old looking. Since we were 2 couples I think that the hotel should have done something so the accomodations were very similar. Also the guy at the hotel counter that […] was there on Sat. and Sund. could try to be a little bit more friendly and since he is dealing with people all the time maybe he should consider another line of work. "Great location, nice modern rooms"
Great place to stay....located right near the metro stop (making it easily accessible from the airport), next door to the Staropramenna brewery, 2 blocks away from a mall and bars/restaurants, modern rooms, very clean, wi-fi, comfy beds, and a hearty, good breakfast! "Surprise"
Not being a veteran of Prague, we were a little disappointed when we pulled up to the hotel. It looked like a warehouse area and was far away from the hustle and bustle of Prague. We then noticed that we were only about a block away from a major retail area and easy walking distance from the Andel transportation hub. It was simple to access any area […] of Prague in just minutes. The room was large and well maintained. Our only difficulty was having only 5 channels on our room tv, but, I guess you don't go to Prague to watch Oprah. The staff spoke excellent english and easily took care of any problems we had from an emergency dentist to directions to St Charles Bridge. Great customer services. The breakfast was simple but great. I was a little disappointed that they had closed the bar downstairs and we could not get room service, but, again you do not go to Prague to eat hotel food! There were nearby cafes and bars to pretty much take care of most late-night cravings. All things considered, I would definately recommend the hotel. Just a word to the wise, it is very difficult to find laundromats in Prague. There are many individuals who will do your laundry, but, some get a bit pricy. Les mer

I have visited this hotel several times before. On this occasion, as always, the staff were very welcoming, The hotel is well situated for public transport, the rooms are always clean, and a good buffet breakfast is served. I will have no hesitation in using this hotel again when i return to Prague.

When booking the room I expected 4 star experience. However, upon arrival it turned out that the room I was staying in (apartments in a separate building) was very basic. The hotel was ok for the price and the staff were helpful but I think the main building is better than the apartment building round the corner, where we were (apartment 1). It wasn't noisy at all and was in a pretty good location for transport and walking. There were facilities to make tea and coffee and a microwave (and a fancy DVD player and surround sound!) but no wifi. The signal was so weak it wasn't any use. For the price we paid, we were very satisfied with the location, cleanliness, breakfast, and service. We were in an apartment a few blocks from the main hotel, and it was above a garage that was part of a larger residential building. As such, the room was a bit stuffy given the hot weather, and also noisy due to foot traffic and voices resonating in […] the courtyard. However, we are both big walkers and really enjoyed having such good access to different parts of the city, but being somewhere away from the tourist center. We walked home later in the evening and felt safe, and the nearby area had plenty of shops, restaurants, parks, and bars. It was all very cozy. Very pretty hotel inside. Outside is nothing special, but inside is gorgeous. Looks brand new. Dark, rich, colored wood floors and warm colored walls. Small flat screen tv mounted in the room. We stayed in a room in the main building. Staff very friendly, at front desk 24x7. Very secure. Amazing value for the money. Breakfast was awesome too! Lots of […] food (breads, yogurts, eggs, meats, cereal, etc)...and it was included in my rate! About two blocks away (less than 5 minute walk) from the subway station. "Good for budget travellers"
The apartment is spacious, neat and tidy, and with kettle. It is on ground floor facing the street. You can hear nosie of traffic at night. Windows are big, but if open them when sleep, it may give the feeling of a bit not safe as it is too close to street. There is leakage problem in shower cubical, bathroom floor was all wet after shower.

Aamiainen oli ok vaikka olisi voinut vaihtelua olla, kun olimme kuitenkin 11 yötä. Joka aamu sama aamupala joka kuitenkin oli runsas. Hotelliin […] olisi voinut myös hoitaa ne luvatut päivän lehdet vaikka sitten englanniksi. Ja kartat yms sellaiset puuttuivat. Vastaanotto oli köyhä mutta asiallinen. Generelt et godt Hotel med en beliggenhed tæt på transport. Det eneste minus er badeværelset som trænger til en lettere ansigtsløftning.

Ottima posizione! a meno di 3 minuti a piedi dalla metro gialla. In posizione tranquilla ma nello stesso tempo vicino a ristoranti e ad un bellissimo centro commerciale. Lo consigliamo!
