Westgate Inn & Suites - Kissimmee 28.34709, -81.66022

I am not one to complain about a hotel since we usually stay only a night or two but this was awful. We book a king bed and ended up with 2 doubles which we were willing to deal with, what we were not willing to deal with was the baby spiders that were crawling on the pillows of one of the beds. There was a cobweb on the headboard which you almost had to try to avoid to make the bed. The room smelt like it was vacant for months. The guy, whose name was Harold I believe, at the front desk apologized and moved us to a differnt room, which was what we booked originally, a king bed. That one was satisfactory and much much better. Definitely was not worth saving the little bit of money that we did.

Front desk attendants were friendly and accomodating. Hotel is a bit far from the Orlando happening area. The breakfast was OK, but the route to get to the breakfast area was like walking through a cigarette box (aweful for non-smokers) and big roaches in the dining area.

Our stay at the hotel was a pleasant one, they provided the right amenities at a very affordable price such as internet access, breakfast, shuttle service to the required theme parks and a lovely pool area. Westgate Inn possess great potential. With the right investment targeted at improving its overall appearance, bedding, odour and dining area, it can become a more inviting and popular choice.

The location is very convenient for the in and around attractions. Rooms were kept decently clean .. But found a couple of roaches prowling around the room. The lady at the desk gave an incredulous stare when asked if we could have some drinking water.

Noisy A/C and toilet running, Clerk gave us another room tv control not working, frige not working and bed had a urine smell. will not recommend this hotel.

I felt like it was a rip off. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling apart. The breakfast was a joke. (whatever you do don't drink the oj) The shuttle service was more of a pain then a service.

paid for a king bed and was checked into a handicapped standard with a leaky toilet.front desk showed absolutely no concern. was also told that I would not be refunded the price difference of the room that I paid for. piss poor weekend at the WESTGATE INN.

We really enjoyed our stay. Check-in was great, check-out was smooth and quick less than 2 mon. We had a great view of the pool, I was able to watch hubby & the kids play in the pool. Breakfast was good, everything was individually wrapped, which was great. We would stay again!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool area was clean. It is a good deal for the price.

Room was ok, breakfast can be improved by adding fruites or donuts. The Free shuttel advertised is very limited one at 7am to Disney, 9am to universal and 11 am to epcot and thats it.

In a nice area close to everything

The room was nice and it was nice to have a small bar on premises, even though it was a bit smoky. Overall, we'd stay there again without hesitation.

The rate for the Hotal was good. However, the location of the Hotel was not nice and they did not even offer shampoo in the room. I just felt plain unsafe in this hotel. The good thing was that the rooms were nice and the bed was ok.

Continental breakfast wasn't very good,(cold cereal,muffins,coffee and juice) but overall we were very pleased with our rooms. I suggest requesting a room in the courtyard(as we had) for maximum privacy and quietness.

Very friendly staff. Hotel was satisfactory in every category. Overall great buy for the dollar. If you plan on going to Disney though you might want to stay a little closer though. This hotel was the last stop on the shuttle service and between the wait and drive took about 1 and a half hours to get back to the hotel. Also there is only 2 drop off and pick up times which makes it a little inconvenient to try to plan your day around that. Overall though happy with my stay.

We have stayed in a hotel around this hotel and have decided that from now on we will stay at this one. It was great for the price and had the convienence of a refridgerator and microwave. It was an overall pleasant place to stay and I plan to use this hotel again.

This hotel was nothing like the pictures showed. The lobby was not very clean and smelled of smoke. Our room was in the back, directly across from a mobile home park. The room was non-smoking and definitely smelled of smoke as well. The floor was dirty and the pool area was very small.

HOTEL IS NICE. NEWLY UPDATED. THE PEOPLE WERE FRIENDLY AND NICE. IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY FOR THE MONEY. I WOULD STAY AGAIN.

I wouldn't recommend a stay at this hotel. It felt dirty and there was a spider that my husband had to kill that was creeping up on the bed while I was laying on it. The staff and including the manager/front desk manager were not pleasant. The gentleman on the morning shift was nice. He gave us info on the heated pool and continental breakfast, where the ladies on the night shift could have cared less. I would say "spend a little more and lay your head somewhere worth it and much closer to the parks. This hotel was almost at the end of 192 west of the gates. I would not stay here again. If you have kids and stay on the second level you'll have to lug your luggages up the stairs. Not convenient if you have little ones.

The room was clean and the refrigerator provided was huge! I didnt want to leave!

The people at the check in desk were pleasant and helpful. They had a free continental breakfast. The room was clean. Our stay was good. The only thing was that it was further away from the attractions than I thought, but 5 miles wasn't so bad.

The rooms were in need of new carpeting and overall renovations. There was an odor in all areas. The continental breakfast needed improvement. The same each day.

Tried to call hotel and no answer -- the hotel was not busy. Less than 10% full and still very poor service!

Needs alot of improvement, the service was horrible evetyone at the hotel was rude, the room was dirty, we were eaten alive by something in the room (bed bugs, fleas) this by far was the worst experience i have ever had at a hotel. i am very disappointed.

I found bugs in my bed and the shower did not have hot water but the sink did.

The room was good as what I paid, only problem we have is on the rest room. rest evrthink was okay for the money.

For overnight stay and moving on I woulf recomend this hotel.

Although advertised as having internet access, there was none available in the rooms. There was a single computer in the lobby that was accessible for guests.

The hotel was in a good location, however, I feel that all hotels in vacation destinations should have a hot tub.
