Sentral in the middle of the town with walking distance to almost everything. We had a good stay at this hotel.

"Love the location"
Convenient to 8-10 good pubs, all concievable fast food, wine store, parliament hill, byward market, etc. Room was nice, clean, with all amenities. Will stay here again.

I had a great stay. The room was comfortable and quiet. The service was great and the price was reasonable. A sauna and hot tub would be a great addition but aside from that it was a great stay.

I stayed there during Winterlude weekend! Though it is about 10-15 minutes walk from the bus station, it was close to major attractions - crystal gardens, parliament Hill, Rideau canal, etc. Public transit is just a step away and if you go on weekend a family pass will get you riding the bus all day for up to 4 people. The hotel staff (Ben) was very […] accomodtaing. The first room that was assigned was a bit noisy but he quickly sorted that and we ended up in a very comfortable suite. My suggestion is to request a higher floor... more privacy, less busy, more peaceful and quiet...... The breakfast was lovely, all the traditional goodies - bagel, muffins, boiled eggs, juices, croissaint, fruits, oat meal, etc, etc...... but if you get there too late the novelty items like hot chocolate goes very fast. Overall, I enjoyed my stay .... spacious, clean, friendly staff (reception & house keepers), decent rate, convenient location...... can't complain. Les mer

This hotel offers everything you will ever need. For the price you can't beat it. Computer in room with printer, huge TV, a full kitchen and a continental breakfast! You can't go wrong. The only thing I would suggest is bringing your own hairdryer. The one in the room was not hot enough to dry your hair. Excellent price and very friendly staff.

"Liars"
The Business Inn tried to change the terms of my stay and raise my room rate half-way through my stay. The front desk manager lied about his previous night's suggestion that I change rooms because of a noise issue and instead said that I had agreed to change rooms because they had given me a supposedly better room due to lack of availability of the […] room they had confirmed for me. When I checked in, they said the larger room would be at the same rate as I had booked. I told them I would change rooms if they moved my belongings. They refused and said that if I did not pack my kitchen and other items myself, they would charge me extra for the remaing nights of my stay. It was only after I called my credit card company and hotels.com to intervene that they backed down. I became afraid to stay in a hotel that lied to my face Les mer

"Comfortable accomodation"
The room was very large and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the city centre. We would only suggest more space between the bed side and the wall, as the bed itself is almost set against the wall. Anyway the room is so big that this wasn't a big problem. We have appreciated free internet and free printing. We would have appreciated the parking […] to be included in the room rate, anyway they let us leave the car many hours after checkout so that we have overhall appreciated the parking service . I've travelled to a lot of different places and stayed in a lot of hotels but this hotel just seems to give off a NYC feel but with a very southern vibe, in that the staff and people around were just extensively friendly. We were upgraded to a Executive Suite. It was a large clean suite with Living/Dining room, kitchen and bedroom, with lots of windows overlooking Elgin and Maclaren Streets. "Business Inn, Maclaren Street, Ottawa"
We were a party of 4 adults and stayed in 2 rooms. We were absolutely delighted with every single aspect of this hotel from the moment we entered until we left. The rooms are like suites with a free computer for your use and free internet, large TV, large, well-equipped kitchen.......very clean......very friendly staff. Everything was good except parking - the Hotel does not arrange parking for guests and we had to run around the place looking for parking in the night - staff could do more to locate parking places for clients

we were very skeptical at first because it's our first time to check in to this hotel .. but everything started to change the moment we stepped inside our room .. it is clean and mostly importantly, it doesn't have any smell at all (big tv with lots of channels & computer w/internet too) ..seeing the kitchen with the basic stuff for cooking was a real […] joy to see ... the staff are courteous and friendly ... there were lots of breakfast food for all the guest to share and enjoy ...and their location is really good because it's only walking distance to the parliament , rideau canal etc ... not to mention lots of restos & bars just around their corner ... we already recommended it to our friends and definitely will be staying with them again if we are back in Ottawa ... Very comfortable facilities, suited to self-catering clients and those depending on eating out facilities. Good sites like the city hall, museum, the Rideau Shopping Centre, are close by. I strongly recommend Businness Inn.
"Find somewhere else"
The position of the Business Inn is convenient for downtown Ottawa and the room ameneties are OK but that's about it. My room was on the second floor directly over a bar/pool room and was very noisy until late. There's a bar on the opposite side of the street and I was disturbed by drunken shouting and snashing of glass until 2am. The room I had was […] garishly lit, more like a 1970's office than a hotel bedroom. The hotel thoughtfully provided a PC and Printer - I havent seen this anywhere else I have stayed - but there was no desk lamp! I can't recommend the Business Inn to anyone - don't stay here unless you have to! I would advise that you try the Bostonian Inn which is a few blocks down on McLaren St and which is the same price. My boyfriend and I have recently stayed at the Business Inn for three nights where our purpose for visiting Ottawa was for pleasure. Although the hotel is dated, it makes up for it with its location, amenities (full kitchen, 46" inch sony bravia, computer) and friendly housekeeping staff. There were no issues with check in or out. We did not have the […] chance to try the complimentary breakfast and the 24hr fitness room. Although it would have been nice if breakfast hours extended to 11am and if there was a recycling bin included with the trash bin in our hotel room, we have enjoyed our stay here overall and will definitely return. What a great place to stay. The hotel is centrally located in Ottawa and is easily accessible to all locations in Ottawa. The room is great with a great kitchen. I was even able to check out earlier than planned without any fees. I highly recommend this location.

The price is very reasonable for a suite, including a small kitchen, nice large screen TV, free computer and internet (good to look up good restaurants in the area), pretty decent continental breakfast and nice touches such as a coffee grinder and steam cleaner. What a pleasant surprise to find such a fantastic place to stay in Ottawa,tucked in a very nice neigiborhood so close to the canal and Parliament buildings. "It all worked!"
Rooms were enormous, clean and comfortable. Parking indoors was a little tight but no complaints as the alternative was parking outdoors overnight on a cold Ottawa February evening. Close to great pubs and restaurants. Price was very reasonable.

The Buziness Inn is 10 minutes from the centre of the city by foot. The room was excellent comprising of kitchen, bedroom- dining area with a huge television plus a PC networked for free and then a bathroom. Value for money and close to several good bars and restaurants. Why pay more? Great place for a longer business trip. All necessary amenities on site. The only thing is the technical state of the building - during my stay there was only 1 elevator operating!

This hotel gets rather good reviews, and indeed, it is not bad. Good location, the rooms are nice (even with a computer), and the reception staff is nice too. However, it is not a guaranteed 9 out of 10 either. If you, like us, get a room on the 4th floor and/or next to the elevator, you will have to endure that there are no openable windows (and only […] a noisy a/c unit, which dries the air to an unpleasant level), and that the door to the hallway is very badly soundproofed so you have quite some noise. Also, regardless of your room, the hotel has the weirdest breakfast we have ever seen, with paper plates and cups, served in a tiny room, and with most of the products running out by 9.30. The lady you meet in the morning is VERY moody. The selection of products (if available) is good though. Overall, if you can get a room with a balcony and far from the elevator, and if you can live with a really strange breakfast, you'll be rewarded with a good location, well-equipped rooms, and welcoming reception staff.
