Hotellet er passe stort med en sentral beliggenhet ,gangavstand til mannge av byens severdigheter,flott service, hyggelig frokostrom med flott frokost og hyggelig betjening. Masse kunst og en relaxavdeling som du kan benytte uforstyrret av andre. Et hotell en umiddelbart trives på og som vi vil anbefale alle som skal besøke Wien

Small Luxury Hotel das Tyrol innfridde våre krav til sentral beliggenhet,renhold og en fortreffelig frokost som gav oss en flott start på dagen! Betjeningen var hjelpsom og imøtekommende også med henblikk på alternativ adkomst til og fra flyplassen. Hit kommer vi svært gjerne tilbake!

Great boutique-style hotel. Excellent location and central to walk able venues. Staff was pleasant and very helpful. Our room was a bit small but by European standards comfortable and beautifully decorated as was the rest of the hotel. Breakfasts were excellent with a similarly appointed dining room highlighting local artists. Request taxi service at […] the desk if you plan to travel a bit beyond center city. This is a great hotel its right on the main shoping street very quite and comfortable bed rooms this is the place to stay and relax very nice staff will be back.

Outstanding stay at Das Tryol. Traveled to Vienna in autumn for a work conference. Hotel is very centrally located to shops and train. Very warm and personable staff. Excellent daily breakfast with so many yummy options including yogurt, fresh fruit and regional favorite juices, local cheeses, homemade pastries and rolls, eggs made to your liking, etc. […] Room was very clean with a modern bathroom and had a coffee/tea pot and refrigerator. Bed was comfy. Hotel had many personal touches including vibrant embroidered curtains in the lobby and breakfast room and windowsill decorations on each staircase level. This is our second time at Das Tyrol. The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast excellent and situation ideal. The staff spoke good English and were unwaveringly helpful.

The hotel room was far too small and claustrophobic. The beds were too narrow and not long enough so consequently our feet hung out over the bed!

Arrived mid afternoon to a warm welcome from reception and, I have to say, he and all reception staff were most friendly and helpful throughout our 4 night stay and spoke good English. We got a superior room at the front which was quiet as it faces a side street. The room was a reasonable size with a comfortable bed and a well appointed bathroom. We […] loved the old fashioned lift and the Disney paintings in the hallway on our floor! Breakfast was varied and plentiful with a good choice of cereals, breads, juices, meats, cheese etc including coffees and teas (in pots). The lady in charge was charming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The eggs, whichever way, were lovely and promptly served, the breakfast room light and colourful. The hotel is situated near the Museums Quartier and is close to many shops, cafes, restaurants and attractions. The main sights are walkable but you always have the option of busses, trams and the underground which is inexpensive. Getting to and from the airport is easy using the S-Bahn line S7 which takes you to/from Lanstrasse and then a short hop to Volkstheater and a few minutes walk. Be sure to visit the Museums Quartier at night when it comes alive. There are too many historical attractions to list, just walking the magnificent streets is a delight and if you want a trip out of town go to the zoo and Schonbrunn Park. Our holiday in Vienna was made perfect by our stay at the Das Tyrol Hotel and I would recommend it without hesitation. Les mer

The hotel is in a great location - on a busy shopping street but is very quiet. It is a 15 minute walk to the centre of the old part of Vienna. It is close to Cafe Sperl a traditional Viennese cafe and also to the Naschmarkt a popular Viennese Market. The staff were very helpful. I would stay here again.

Very central location and staff at reception went out of their way to be helpful with maps, directions etc. Also gave us info on local Viennese restaurants. Excellent breakfast. Interior decor well thought out giving it a very pleasing ambience. Good to have coffee machine in bedroom.

Staff very friendly and helpful, especially reception staff. Great location, close to main tourist attractions.Plenty of choice in breakfast buffet. Decor and artwork around hotel very interesting and most effective. All in all a very comfortable and pleasing stay at this hotel. Would certainly recommend to anyone visiting Vienna.

All the staff were very helpful and responsive to our requests for assistance. The only slight drawback was that there was a member of staff on night shift whose English was less proficient than the rest of the team and he was less knowledgeable in providing tourist infromation. Nevertheless, he still tried his best to help with practical issues. The […] decor of the hotel was tasteful and its buffet breakfast was lovely with great service. Hotel is fine but the lack of public spaces makes one's room the only option. It would be easy for the hotel to provide afternoon tea (as similar hotels in Vienna do). Also, there was no room service menu in the room.

Great location, VERY friendly, accommodating staff. Lajosh and Manuel at the front desk were particularly helpful. Breakfasts were exceptional and the service was amazing. Both Antonella and 'Radi' remembered our preferences every day. We enjoyed 12 nights and look forward to returning. Only problem was an apparent incompatibility between Apple IOS6 […] and their wifi. This hotel was a gem with drop dead gallery displays of local art from lobby to every floor. The breakfast buffet was what every heart would desire for their ideal breakfast: all kinds of deli meats and cheeses to cereals, yogurts with fresh fruits and breads and even eggs and bacon! Great! I really cannot fault this hotel. I was travelling with my 77yr old mother and we stayed here on two occassions. The first for 3 nights prior to departing for short stays in Prague and Budapest and then again upon our return for a further 5 nights. Everything appeared to have been considered to make their guests feel really special. The rooms, though […] small in keeping with the traditional style of the building, are extremely well fitted. The Nespresso machine was a lovely touch as was the chocolate left each day on our pillows! All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfasts beautiful. I also particularly loved the original artworks very tastefully displayed throughout the hotel. We found that we could walk with ease to major sights and places of interest and it was never too far to find a place to eat i the evenings. Das Tyrol really made our trip something special. Les mer

Very lovely hotel near the museum quarter. Pleasant staff. Nice breakfast. Clean, charming room. The beds are very low to the ground but comfortable. I did have a terrible ordeal with the taxi driver that the concierge called for me which involved me missing my train because he didn't know how to get to the train station.

We had an outstanding experience at Das Tyrol. The hotel is lovely and in a great location. Everything was clean and fresh, updated, and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. The staff was always extremely kind and helpful. This is a real gem and I would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel das Tyrol very much. The breakfast buffet was delicious and our room was very comfortable. Although convenient to some sights it was a long walk from others. My husband and I were extremely happy with our stay in the Hotel Das Tyrol. It was not far from the Westbahnhof rail station, even though we chose to take a taxi (under $10 euro each way). It was a short walk to the U-bahn and the Hofburg section. The breakfasts were fantastic with made-to-order omelets and my caffeine free expresso coffee. We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Room was very comfortable, clean and the staff were generally helpful The hotel's location is excellent: very close to the museum quartier and most other sights are easily walkable.

We booked two tours through the front desk. The clerk was happy to charge our room for the first but another clerk initially refused to do the second until he discovered that the first was charged. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.

We loved this hotel! While somewhat pricey, it was still a great value for Vienna. The staff was really friendly and helpful - even calling the airport for us and fixing a breakfast early on the day we left. The room and the public spaces were decorated with modern art, and the air was scented with an herbal aroma. We stayed here for 2 nights in Vienna. Very good hotel. The staff was helpful. The rooms were well kept and comfortable. The breakfast was good. It is a small hotel, with 30 rooms, so it is a more intimate place than a large hotel.

Everything from the location in the Museum district to the expertise of the staff at Das Tyrol made this a special stay. We spend about 90 days a year or more "on the road," and we can honestly say this hotel is one of the nicest ones we have ever enjoyed anywhere on earth. Thank you.
