Great room for the price. Great location.

The location of the hotel on the beach was excellent. We enjoyed the oceanview room and loved the easy access to the beach. The bad part of the stay was the fact that we didn't get the amenities we were told we would have and the staff really wasn't that helpful. We booked the room thinking it would have a full kitchen, it did not. There was a microwave […] and a sink so we ended up spending more money than expected in order to eat a decent meal. The hotel stated there was a waterpark on site, we never found one on the property, only the two pools. Les mer

We are locals and have always enjoyed staying here! It's perfect for anyone with kids and without!

We loved our room, The area was great, just a couple buildings down from the board walk. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Great times were had , Music , laughs & Great food in the area.

Very uncomfortable beds. Very small rooms. The only good thing is it's on the beach. downside so is the rest of the hotels on that strip. AVOID at all cost.

Rooms were clean and staff very friendly, pool was well maintained. Will stay at hotel next time I am in Florida. This was the second time I have stayed at the Daytona Inn in 2011.

Architecture from the past conceal the clean,comfortable rooms with modern conveniences and the staff are all professionals out to make your stay a pleasure.a short walk to the boardwalk and amusement park make it great for kids.

The only thing that was good about this hotel was that it was right on the beach. We checked in and was supposed to have 2 Queen beds and got a King. Went to the Lobby and was given a hassle but got a different room, but it was clean yet. We finally got in the room at 330pm, when check in is 3pm. We left room to get things out of car and couldn't get […] back in because the key cards they gave us didn't work on our door. Our door had no key swipe, and a key was needed. The lobby didn't have the key, it was still with the cleaning lady. The balcony overlooked what appeared to be an alley. The Hotel staff were very rude. Les mer

Horrible...worst hotel i've stayed at in years. Would never return!

The outside of this hotel don't look like much but the room was very nice and clean.

the hotel has ample space , but sofa and chair was old and dirty and the balcony has plastic chair that was broken, old and also very dirty .

My chief complaint with this motel is that they never cleaned the room after our first night stay. The second night was dirty. Motel staff never made any effort to make it right. I am working with hotels.com and their customer service now.

This is an OLD hotel. We had several problems during our stay. The door wouldn't unlock so we were given another room - two queens instead of a king and a pull out. The phone in the room didn't work at all. The hotel obviously caters to the college age crew - complete with a full size frig and hot plate in the room. The hotel was clean, the pool was […] nice, the deck area was nice. It really is right on the beach. Most of the rooms had balconies overlooking the water. The neighborhood was the older part of Daytona Beach. The north end had the shiny new hotels and shops. This hotel was far below the type of hotel that I would normally stay at but, given that there were no other affordable options, it worked for us. Les mer

Hotel is old - needs renovation and new furniture. Beds were very hard - just a piece of foam on a box spring but the sheets were clean. As for he rest of the room, I couldn't bring myself to walk around or shower without my shoes on. Staff was very friendly and the pool was cleaned every morning. when we arrived we had trouble checking in, an hour later we were in our room, after 3 trips and a porter to have our electronic key open the door. our room was old, but very clean, and was ocean front ground floor which was nice. maid service was very timely, and quick. BUT, this seems to be a very "party" place. during our stay we had to call the […] office 2x due to the overwhelming smell of marijuana smoke coming thru the air conditioning into our room, and people throwing glass beer bottles and cans on to the pool deck from their balconys. i guess its an ok place if your into all of that, but we were not, and for the money we spent i was disappointed. next time we will spend the extra to stay at a name brand hotel. the beach itself was wonderful. the hotel staff was very nice and we couldn't have asked for a better person to have to clean our room.

The pictures don't do it justice. This hotel was awesome, but we did get a great room.

I would not recommend this hotel unless you want a warm room where you can sweat. You can go down to the beach for that. When checking out we told them about the room temperature and were told that is how it is in Florida because of the heat. Our house is cooler than the hotel room.

beautiful ocean front view, terrible service. room was not ready until well after 4pm check-in. when we got into our room after 5:30pm the room was not clean, bed was un made, towels all over the place and the staff was unaware. would not recommend. we travel alot and have never experienced this lack of customer service or the right hand not knowing […] what the left hand is doing. very unprofessional. If your looking for a quiet spot on the beach with a nice view and great location this is the place for you.Not five star by any means but good enough for sleep.

I do hope Hotels.com take away this hotel from their list. It is not at all any Hotel I would recommend ever. The pictures does not show anything like what you would experience in real life, terrible!!! I did a big mistake by booking a 2 star Hotel. We were traveling a long time in Florida and we tried a lot of different Hotels. This was the Worst Hotel […] ever. So please Hotels.com, you can not have a Hotel like this on your site. It takes away a little of your liability of your site. I need to know when I book that I can trust of getting a good Hotel not a dump. Les mer
