We (I my wife and our daughter 4 months) lived at this hotel for two days. We only have positive memories from the hotel. Two really nice, helpful girls "stuepike" who worked there (Anne and another one) were absolutely helpful. Tthere is no people in the reception, you just need to call the manager and fixes everything. Enjoy!

Vi sov her 3 netter. Synes rommet var stort og fint, i forhold til prisen var dette veldig bra. God frokost, vaffel var populært hos barna. Hyggelig med te på rommet når vi ankom sent på natt. Eneste som var litt minus var at sovesofaen som ble brukt som 3. seng i rommet var litt hard. Særlig når man har leiebil passer dette hotellet godt, det er lett å komme til med bil og god parkering.

"Centrally located Hotel in Reykjavik"
Short distance to the rest of Reykjavik centre. No hotel parking is a minus. Breakfast not included in roomrfate likewise. Free internet is fine but it did not work in our 5th floor room, which was small and so was the bathroom. Friendly reception service. Overall: A little expensive all things considered

Helt grei hotel om en vi ligge i gå avstand til de fleste fasiliteter. Om man ikke har andre krav enn ei seng å sove i, rent rom, og en dusj så er dette et perfekt hotell:)

Sentral beliggenhet, god service, og god frokost. Litt trafikkstøy og lytt mellom rommene. Festing i nabolaget og på naborom høres godt. Sjenerende høyttaler på ytterveggen til bygget over gaten, stod på hele døgnet med bølgesus! (Ingasolveigs galleri).

Koselig lite hotell med hyggelig betjening midt i sentrum i Reykjavik. Nær beliggenhet til det meste, det vil si handlegatene i sentrum med utallige spennende små designbutikker, cafeer, teater, restauranter, barer og nattklubber. Kort vei til busser som går til de store kjøpesentrene utenfor sentrum og kort vei til havnen og det nye operahuset "Harpa" […] som er snart ferdig bygget. "God beliggenhet, men mye støy"
Jeg overnattet på Klöpp i seks netter i slutten av mai, og var i det store og hele godt fornøyd med oppholdet. Hotellet har veldig sentral beliggenhet, men dette gjør også at det kommer mye nattestøy fra festglade mennesker. Vi var en gjeng som hadde totalt 6 rom, og alle rommene var like ille når det gjaldt støy. Ellers var rommene helt greie. Renholdet […] var upåklagelig. Frokosten var ikke all verden, men grei nok. Alt i alt var jeg fornøyd med rommet med tanke på hvor billig dette hottellet var. Grei standard til en rimelig penge, men altså ikke å anbefale for folk som har problemer med å få sove. Les mer

Hotellet ligger meget sentralt ved handlegata og nær ypperlige restauranter. Passe lite hotell med god service, stille og rolig.

Hotellet har enkel standard. Det luktet litt rart i heisen og på badet vårt, og det hadde vært fint med et par påleggssorter til på frokosten, men betjeningen var hyggelig og hjelpsom, og det var rent og greit. Vi ble sjenert av høy musikk fra etablissementet tvers over gata når vi hadde lagt oss om kvelden, men de ga seg heldigvis ganske tidlig, så […] for oss med store unger var det ikke noe stort problem. "excellent location and price"
Klöpp is in the perfect location, close to the main shopping street, city centre, and harbour. The price included wifi and a very delicious breakfast. There's no hotel parking but street and garage parking is close by and inexpensive. Definitely a great place to stay!

Excellent location relative to downtown and all the sights/shopping. Staff was exceptionally helpful and available at all times. The included breakfast was good. Real juice and not flavored water, as might be the case elsewhere. Overall, an excellent choice for a hotel in Reykjavik.
"not worthy for the price"
Overall its a clear & neat hotel, but the quality of the room is rather poor, its tiny and uncomfortable for it price. no complaint on the front desk which is really helpful though. just feel luckily that i was fully planned outside and bearly able to stay in the room.

"Highly recommendable"
The hotel is situated about 50 meters from the mainstreet Laugavegu with lots of shops and restaurants. Less than five minutes to walk to the harbour. The location is truly unbeatable. The staff is very helpful and willing to book you different tours, and also taxis and buses. Breakfast is okay, not too many different types of bread in my opinion. This hotel was in a great location in the middle of town. The rooms were simple, but nice and clean as was the rest of the hotel. The only thing lacking was the customer service at the front desk. The attendees weren't particularly helpful when asked questions and seemed a little annoyed when asked how to get somewhere or about tours. If you are not in the market for luxury but interested in spending your money on other things like day tours, book this hotel. The hotel is clean, modern furnished and most importantly, very centrally located. Not that Reykjavik is huge, but CenterHotel Klopp is right off the shopping street and close to most of the restaurants and stores. Therefore, […] hiring a car was not necessary. I had no complaints about the hotel and its amenities as it relates to its star rating. It offered free WiFi, a free standard continental breakfast and a decently sized room (by European standards). "Great vibe and location."
We loved the Klopp. The location was close enough to everything, but not noisy at all. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and the vegetarian restaurant a block away was superb.

The hotel has a great location, just off the main street in Reykjavik. However, it is just across the street from a bar that has live music and lots of people standing outside smoking. The music kept going until after 23 and we had to sleep with ear plugs. Also, the room's interior was old and part of the curtain was not working. This meant that light […] was let in and since Iceland in the summer is very bright even at night this disturbed our sleeping. Besides that, the hotel has internet in all rooms and wifi in the lobby. "Low comfort, but all else great"
Rooms really could use carpet or at least rugs. There were two of us in a room, and even when trying to be quiet, walking around made so much noise if another is sleeping. Beds just ok, and hard to share. Very thin walls too, and almost zero noise insulation between the bathroom and beds. Water splashes everywhere in the shower and was always soaked. Located in uptown one block off the main strip. The rooms were small by American standards but on par with other european rooms that I've stayed in. The best part of this hotel is the staff. I was very happy with my experience at the center hotel klöpp. For the price, this hotel is a great value; the staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel is at a great location just a block from the main strip. The only thing that could have been better is the size of the rooms. But for the price I really can't complain. "Miss it already."
Very clean, quiet room on the 5th floor (even at the weekend), in room fridge / mini-bar is comes in handy. Room is in the smaller side and I can see how the lack of shower tub / tray can be annoying for some with water escaping all over the bathroom floor. Breakfast very nice and laid on early, especially for us, as we had an early morning flight on […] day of departure. Hotel extremely central with much to keep you occupied within easy walking distance. Hotel staff, very friendly and accommodating with prompt response to pre-stay questions E-mailed to them. Very clean, and comfortable hotel. Room was modern and smartly decorated. Rooms were small and not a fantastic view, but this didn't bother us, as the location is fantastic, right next to all the cafes and a stone throw from the main shopping street. Very well located hotel. Very clean, good service, good breakfast, but very small rooms and noise from a cafe across the street playing music into the night.
Great location! We had a room adjacent to the kitchen, so we could hear them in the morning, but were up early anyway. Being that close to the lobby, we could also get wireless in our room. Staff was very nice and organized for assisting with tour and flybus booking.

From the great looking photos on their website, we expected a much nicer space. However, the room was extremely small, there was barely any space to put the luggage. There's no other furniture apart from a small night side table (and not even a safe box in the room). Bathroom was so tiny, no bathtub and only a standup shower next to the toilet, with […] a curtain. It looked very much like a motel room or a youth hostel, than a hotel room. My husband and I were very pleased with the courteous and pleasant manner at the fromt desk. however, we were disappointed with a few things . Our telephone a and internet were not working for half our stay. We had an Itt person who spent several hours in and out of our room trying to fix these problems. I was very tired after a very long hike in the […] morning and was unable to rest sufficently in order to prepare myself for dinner in the evening. I was very tired at dinner and didn't enjoy the evening. Also, we were very disappointed with the breakfast menu. It didn't really reflect an Iceland menu flavour, as I had experienced at my first stop over in Iceland ,at another hotel.For the last reason, I would not choose to stay at your hotel again , but the location was wonderful. We stayed at the hotel from a Monday through Wednesday night. It was typical European - small and clean with a great breakfast which was included - and in the middle of everything we wanted to be close to. The only disadvantage would be if you were there Thursday through Sunday as there is a great bar across the street and many on the surrounding blocks […] which we could see being very noisy on a weekend and from what we understand the surrounding area, being right in the center of town, is very active and loud until very early into the next morning. For us, though, we were close to everything and enjoyed ourselves without suffering the sacrifice of staying the center of the nightlife. Les mer
