The first night was without aircondition. It was fixed the Day after in the afternoon. A small room. An okay breakfast, but the 4 stars were to much. A three star perhaps. Close to all the things tourists wants in The city.

Our best hotel stay in Italy! The room was large and had two baths and a separate sleeping area for my daughters. Romantically decorated and I felt like a princess in the large canopy bed. Breakfast in the garden was lovely and had a very good selection of foods. The staff was very friendly and helpful and tolerated my poor command of Italian language. […] Two blocks from the train station, close to the outdoor market and a short walk to the center of Florence. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a classic Florentine stay. Les mer

Nice hotel, older style furnishings but a modern bathroom. Our bathroom actually had a very nice view of rooftops, a tower of some sort, and the mountains. Room 36 I think. Nice breakfast: cold meat/cheese, coffee, tea, croissant, fruit, what seemed to be the standard italian breakfast. Only complaint was the A/C. We were there in August and it was […] pretty hot outside. The A/C stays on low. You can hit a "high power" button, but it only lasts a few minutes, then back to low. Even though, our room was fairly comfortable temperature wise. Any other month and it wouldn't even have been an issue. My advice: don't go to Italy in August anyways. It's just too hot, and it makes you not want to explore as much. Les mer

Great location, close to train and bus stations - 5 minute walk. Very nice room for our family of four, two beds and one pullout couch. Walking distance to Santa Marie Nuovella church. Reception staff were not overly friendly. They did attempt to make attractions bookings for us but were unsuccessful in doing so. Good breakfast included in a nice outdoor […] courtyard. We had an excellent 3 night stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful with booking reservation times for the academy and uffizi musuems before we arrived and with assisting us with a Sienna day tour. The complimentary breakfast buffet was very nice and the outdoor seating area was very peaceful. With the central location you cannotgo wrong.

My husband and I and our two kids stayed together in one room. It ended up being kind of a suite, with a separate room for us, and two couch beds for our kids in the entry room. The bathroom was gorgeous, and they actually provided enough towels without asking. The room was pretty quite, but I still slept with ear plugs because I could occasionally […] hear street noise. Hotel was convienantly located, about 4 blocks from train station, for our travels. Front desk was always willing to help you with your plans. They were very good with their recommendations. Breakfast was very good. Clean and the housekeepers were very friendly. Would not hesitate to stay at this hotel on my next trip..

This was our second time in Florence and the hotel was great. The staff were really friendly, the breakfast buffet was wonderful and our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We loved our stay and would stay there again when we return to Florence. Excellent value for money compared to the other surroundng hotels.

Stayed here for 5 nights in march/april. Nice hotel, good clean rooms and a nice bathroom. Had bed and breakfast deal, which was useful but not exactly top quality. Service from the waiters was great. Location is good, you're near all the main sights, but in Florence nothing is really that far away anyway! Has restaurants bars and shops very close […] by so great for convenience. Florence SMN station is a 5 min walk away too. Friendly and helpful staff. Only negative of our stay was the noise from the street at 3/4am most nights, felt as though we were sleeping with our windows wide open it was that loud! Take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Walking distance to train stations and nearby to all amenities. There is also a nice restaurant serving nice Italian meals at moderate price.

The room was noisy and the staff stoic or grumpy. There are beter places to stay for this price.

If you need a hotel close to the Terminal FS (Train Station) this is a good choice. An easy walk from the Train station close to good restaurants and the Piazza. We were surprised that we had 2 bathrooms in a room of that size . A nice extra feature. The main bathroom was decent size, but the shower was hard to use. The tub was narrow and the curtain […] kept getting in the way. The room had air conditioning which was nice since leaving the windows open attracted mosquitoes. The bed was firm, which my wife liked, but I felt was a little hard. One downer was that they removed our cable box after the first night, because of some contract dispute with their provider. We only stayed for one night here but it was a great experience. The rooms are so nice and clean...the view from ours was really something too. The location can't be beat either...overall A+!

Dont judge A place by its cover!! The neighboorhood looked a bit seedy to begin with...but so close to the train station and the center of town...it really was a great spot! The hotel is Old...but so is everything in Florence! The beds were comfy, there was a Refridge, the Breakfast was adequate, the staff was friendly, The A/c was a bit hit or miss...seemed […] to work...but needed to be on awhile for feel it...but we were there the last week of July, and it was hot! The front desk staff was very nice, the Bartender..Mario was super! The rooms were spotless....the elevator was small....too small for both of us with our bags...but a minor problem...as we only had our bags checking in and out!! The Hotel is only 1 block form the Piazza of Santa Maria Novella....and barely 2 blocks from the Train Station. It was a great local....and great service....I would stay there again! Spectacular and stupendous. This was our first hotel in Italy and set the standard for courteous and friendly help. Regardless of who worked the desk, we felt welcomed and supported. We watched the staff treat all the myriad questions of the other guests with the same calm warmth. The room and location was great, and the breakfast buffet in their courtyard […] provided an elegant, but relaxing, way to start the day. The staff recommended a great restaurant nearby - Cento Povari - where we were able to enjoy a relaxed meal that was very reasonably priced. Excellent hotel. Hard to find but drive slowly down the street and you'll find the entrance on your right. You can park outside and they will park your car for you in the local car park and get it back for you with only a few minutes notice, sorting out all the car passes for the centre of Florence too. The breakfast area outside in a central area is excellent for the lovely breakfasts they provide, well serviced by Mark the waiter. This hotel was a real gem. It is a charming small hotel with a real European feel. The cozy bar and breakfast room were so delightful! For Europe, our room was spacious with 2 teenagers. The staff was wonderful and we would stay here again! Carla, Seattle, Washington

Very pleased with both the quality and location of the hotel. Very close to the train station which made arrival and departure easy by foot, yet still within walking distance of the all the main Florence sites. Beautiful room was set up very well to accomodate two adults and two children who needed seperate beds. A small sign in front of the bulding indicates the Hotel Aprile. We drove by twice and missed it both times (the 3rd time's the charm). For those driving to the hotel, a parking garage is just around the corner and charges 20 to 30 euros/night depending on the size of your vehicle (we had a Ford Mondeo at 27Euros/night). The hotel has a small and charming […] lobby. Our quad room was made up of an ante-room with two single beds and a separate (very large) room with a queen bed. The room had a window overlooking the quaint courtyard where breakfast is served. The room was a little dated, but since I love anything 1960's it might have been my favorite room of our seven hotel trip. Breakfast was adequate with croissants, cheeses, coffee, and hot chocolate for the boys (candidly, we were spoiled by the ornate breakfast at the Hotel Art Navigli in Milan, so we might be little harder than we should be on the Aprile). The hotel is located within walking distance of most attractions. We walked to the Uffizi Gallery, across the Ponte Vecchio and back to the hotel with relatie ease. The hotel is a stone's throw away from the Duomo and the square where much nightime activity (and an English style pub for those who need their pints and quarts) is located. Les mer

Hotel was very good, within walking distance to the Rail station, good restaurants nearby serving good food and wine, recommended by the receptionists at the hotel. We had booked a quadruple room but same was not in order on arrival and we were relocated into 2 double rooms.

This hotel was within walking distance to everything we wanted ot do in Florence. The free breakfast was fantastic. Much more than the usual continental breakfast you get in the states. We would definately stay here again.

We had stayed at the Hotel Aprile in 2001, and had a great experience with the hotel service and the room. This time the service (other than that provided by the staff at breakfast) wasn't as good. Not unfriendly, but just not very welcoming and didn't extend appreciation to us for choosing their hotel. Very convenient location - all of Florence's main site seeing attractions are within a few minutes walk. A 5 or 10 minute walk from the train station. Pleasent room with a very nice breakfast included. The outdoor patio is really nice. The farthest away attraction is David, maybe 12-15 walk. Lots of local restaurants in the area. The only drawback was […] that there was some construction going on in the area -- not the Hotel's fault. We have been to Florence before, but we stayed in Prato and took the train in each day. I would definitively go back. The hotel was busy but we were not disturb. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The patio where we enjoyed the breakfast was perfect to start a good day. The location is great (closed to bus and train station, city centre, old town, dining restaurants).

sehr gutes Hotel mit freundlichen Angestellten. Leider sidn die Zimmer über Hotels.com auf die Strassenseite gerichtet. Sehr laut ab ca 03.00h, wenn die meist jungen Nachtschwärmer aus der Disco in die umliegenden billigen 1* Hotels / Pensionen zurückkehren.

SMN教会のすぐ裏手にあり、駅からも近いです。 近隣の治安も悪くないので夜遅くに歩いてもそんなに怖くなかったです。 スタッフは親切で、お部屋は広くはありませんが内装が素敵でキレイでした。 Firenzeに行く際にはまた利用したいと思いました。

En effet, dans ce quartier impossible de se garer.Alors l'hôtel téléphone à un service voiturier, garage. Au lieu de 24 E prévu, nous avons payés 30! avec un serrieux doute sur le kilométrage!!! Mis à part ça l'hotel est très bien et très bien situé.

hôtel très bien situé au coeur du centre de Florence, proche de tous les sites à visiter pas besoin de voiture. (possibilité de garage payant) Décoration soignée dans le style florentin. les moins: literie vieillissante peu confortable, chambre donnant sur la rue bruyante sur tout le matin petit déjeuner un peu leger pour un 4****

Mit umidelbare indtryk var ikke imponerende, snarer tværtimod ( skuffende ). Når man booker et 4* hotel, forventer man en standard tilsvarende. Det skal siges, at sengene var OK og badeværelset var rent og pænt, Morgenmaden måtte afvikles indenfor p,g,a duers påtrængende tilstedeværelse. Hvordan stjerner tildeles i Italien ved jeg ikke, men det svarer […] ikke til danske, tyske eller hollandske tildelinger. Alt i alt må to stjerner med pil op være tilstrækkelig. Les mer

サンタマリアノウ”ェラ駅から徒歩ですぐです。 部屋に案内され余りの素晴らしさに喜びの声が出てしまいました。 カウンターの係員も感じが良いし朝食も果物、ヨーグルト全て美味しかったです。 部屋も清潔で設備も満足でした。 コンビニも近くホテル内のバールも素敵です。 カップル、女性にお薦めします。

Gemütliches, sauberes, komfortables Hotel nur 5 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Freundliches Personal, geräumige Zimmer. Frühstück ist ok. Verkehrslärm ist erträglich. Kein Schnäppchen, aber Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

pas trés propre, la chambre est faite à 15h ( adieu la sieste !) le premier jour la chambre n'a pas été nettoyée, pas d'internet, parking à 27Euros/24h, non décidement ce n'est pas un 4 étoiles.

hotel aprile har en god og central beliggnhed i forhold til alt det man må se i Ferinze og ligger samtidig i gå afstand fra banegården. der er meget rent og hotellets personale er yderst service minded, der er også en rigtig dejlig gårdhave hvor der er mulighed for at slappe af.
