Americana Waterpark Resort and Spa - Niagara Falls

Lots of attraction within 5 to 10 mins drive from the hotel. The receptionist is not very friendly. very good set up with the parking and room locations, we don't have to walk very far to get into the room. the room needs a little bit more cleaning. the cleaning staff are friendly and polite. Arcade is enough for a 5 year old kid to enjoy. the waterpark […] is clean and not that big but i think it's very good if you have 10 year old kids and below. the restaurant was average. I waited for an attendant at Timothy's coffee and another staff even rang the bell but nobody showed up. overall my family had a wonderful 3 days stay and my kids enjoyed the waterpark. Les mer

water park was great for my kids ages 3 & 6, but there were a lot of older children and teenagers, so they got bumped around a bit. I made a spa appointment before I left home, the morning of they called to delay me by 15 min no big deal, however when I arrived they had informed me they had me booked in for 11 now not 10:45 (original time was 10:30) […] When they finally came for me it was after 11:30 so by the time my service was done it was 1pm. I missed out on a morning at the water park with my family and no one at the desk apologized for the delay or mix up and seemed very disorganized. My spa appointment with Sarah was excellent, but I wish they would have told me when I would be going in so I didn't have to leave the family for so long. Les mer

*The shower rod was broken and we had to call to have it fixed. *I killed several bugs in the bathroom. *The waterpark area said it was open in 10pm but they closed at 9pm. *The sheet had a hole in it. *The beds are so old they squeak. *The food was very bad.

the pack and play that was given to me was extremely dirty...the water park water was cold my daughter did not enjoy it ...we went there for her bday. The carpet needed to be vacuumed

This was a great place to stay. A bit pricey. Kids had a good time in the arcade and water park. 15 minute drive from good restaurants

You guys need to install SAUNA to improve our satisfation. Thx

We had a great room and the water park was great.

we had a bed that was broken i sleep horrible all nite and woke up with a score back .......in the morning i notice my side of the bed was broke .......the mattress sunk in ...and our pillow cases were stained! i was mad!

The stay was nice. The waterpark was not big but it is good for kids under 13. The traffic at the pool was minimal and we had a great time!! The hotel itself could do with some up-to-date renovations but was definitely good for the price.

Great place for the price. My kids had fun and so did the adults. The staff is great, and great service. Keep it up.

great hotel nice rooms very clean

Hotel was very clean EXCEPT the washrooms adjacent to the waterpark. Would recommend this hotel to families looking for a fun time without blowing the budget.

Waterpark is good for the kid under 12 , they really enjoy , lot of fun , good condition of the facility , but the internet services was really slow and always disconnected , I wish they will improve the wireless services . Will go again .

Great price, good location, Hotel and room was clean and comfortable. water park is good for toddlers and small kids, my kids 4 and 1 really enjoyed water time. Cons, Internet connection is horrible, in the room (2nd floor) it didnt work at all cannot connect to wireless no matter what, called recepetion to get this fixed but nothing got fixed, in […] the lobby area there was some connectivity but very choppy. Almost all of people with laptop were in the lobby to use what small amount ot connection was available. VERY BAD, If they cannot provide quality service then should bot advertise about it. 2ndly Channels on room TV are limited to fox and couple of local, no Tree house or kids channel, kids were not in water all the time and when they are in room they want to watch cartoon and some times we adults want to watch some TV too. Other than internet and TV we dont have any concerns. will go there again with our own DVD collection just in case Les mer

this a really good place if you want to take the kids. Nice size rooms and the water park has enough attractions to please every one. It is nice and clean. The workers are very pleasent. I will go again and hopefully we can go again real soon.

The only thing i was frustate, there isn't SAUNA! Why, mature people like sauna. Why you not in the hotel?

Hotel was full, but very quiet, comfy bed,great place for a wedding! I want to go back with my grandchildren for some fun!

Very big room. Light and clean. There was an patio. The staff was friendly and helpful. Expensive breakfast but good. Free parking.

The hotel staff were very friendly and courteous and the room was spotless. Despite it being a waterpark, the room was very quiet and private. It was a little bit out of the way of attractions, but we couldn't beat the price!

The hotel swiming pool is great for kids. My seven year old loved the water slides and wave pool. After that things go down hill. The resturant food was below average, they forgot to give us cutlery and provided us with dirty cups. The room heater was very noisy - and smelled really bad. We actually had to turn it off in order to sleep (and then we […] too cold - which was still better then the other option). The beds have very little support - but I have to admit they were very clean, and the room itself looked nice and was welcoming. Overall - if you are there for a night you can tolerate the negatives in order to see the smiles on the faces of your kids as they play for hours in the pool area. My Family really enjoyed their stay and found the water park to be fun.

This is a good Waterpark to go to in comparison to the other two Waterparks in Niagara Falls as they tend to be overcrowded. The hotel is mediocre, not much to it and not much around the area, but if you plan to spend your time at the Waterpark and the room is mainly for sleep. It's a good deal!

We had a grest time staying at this hotel; however the room was poorly kept. The bedding was really nice but the walls were peeling and the room had a stench of a really old house. There were mosquitos and a wasp in my room. ( we had no idea how they got there since we never once opened the window? However, the waterpark and arcade was perfect and so […] was the service. Waterpark was the highlight - perfect for my 2 and 4 year olds! Rooms are standard, nothing mind-blowing, but well kept / clean. Location is great; on Lundy's Lane, but far enough from the core that one can get in and out of the parking lot without attempting suicide crossing the street!

Hotel is a good price for what you get. I will say the water park is starting to show its age but still a lot of fun. I like that our 5 year old can go on all the slides. I do like that they use salt water in the park. Rooms are showing some age too but they are clean.

The hotel was very good overall. However, the rooms and carpets and furniture in the halls were all a little worn. I think the place could use a makeover soon. There was no screen on the sliding door to the balcony, which meant bugs came in if we wanted fresh air. Also, they could use some signs to direct guests to the desired parking area, as there […] are many and the exits are not marked with lot numbers on the inside. All that said, the place was exactly what we expected. The waterpark and arcade were great for kids up to about 12 years old. The biggest waterslide was fun even for adults, and there was a decent hot tub. They use way too much chlorine, but you have to expect that in a waterpark for kids. This was not a fancy hotel, but if you have young kids and want to keep them entertained during your stay this place will do nicely. Les mer

Very good service and impressed by the facilities (microwave, fridge, etc.) in the room and the convenience of parking close to balcony door. A bit disappointed by the smell in the room (probably from long term wet carpets from the swimmers), but this was minor. Had the convenience of restaurant (pizza) at the hotel so you can sit by the pool and watch […] your child swim. The waterpark is a must see and was the highlight of my stay. I really appreciate the opportunity to stay at the water park for the full day of check out, so you get one extra day as a added bonus at the water park. One thing that could be improved is the availability of a private changing rooms down by the pool area...not just showers and washrooms. The kids loved the water park. While the size of the water park was modest, I appreciated the number of life guards on duty and found them to be very attentive.

if you have kids, they'd enjoy the water park. Better deal than paying for the large indoor park in downtown. Note that the water park hours are not convenient -- 10am to 9pm only. If you visit Niagara Falls during the day, there is no time to enjoy the water park. Just remember that this is not a 'resort' and it's very far from Niagara Falls. The gym […] has minimal, old equipment only. WiFi didn't work in the room. My husband and I were very disappointed while kids enjoyed the stay. Les mer

We had a suite and an extra room for Grama. Both rooms where great. The kids where entertained with the waterpark. The restaurant was price so we ate else where. We are using this hotel for are next trip.

very clean and comfortable

An indoor waterpark for the kids can never be a bad thing. Being that we went during the week, the park itself was relatively empty which made for more fun for us. The hotel is nothing special. Decently sized rooms with comfty beds. The real attraction was the Falls. Once we had our bearings, the hotel was close enough we could drive into Niagara and […] see what we came to see. Good hotel to stay at. This place is about a 10 min drive to the attractions. The staff was excellent especially Marlo at the front desk. Marlo helped work through a couple check in problems and made our stay there much better.

My wife and I and our two boys (aged 5.5 and 1.5) loved it, it was one of the best family resorts we've been to. Waterpark - perfect for younger children (the tipping bucket was pretty wild, though). Arcade - my 5 yr old enjoyed this very much. Restaurant - there is a restaurant by the waterpark and arcade, so we just ordered pizza and funnel fries […] there, which was more than suitable. Location - less than 10 minutes away from the tourist area and Marineland, which we preferred to enjoy some quiet time to sleep, and yet close to many restaurants and gas stations. Room - we upgraded to the 2-room suite and loved it. Parking - Free parking, gotta love it. You can even park right by your room, unlike the skyscrapers where you have to walk great distances. Convenience - to have the waterpark, restaurant, arcade within 2-3 minutes from our room was an ideal scenario for us with our young children. Service - friendly and prompt service with a smile. We definitely plan on returning again in the future. This was our first experience with Americana and the first online hotel review I've written. Les mer
