HORRIBLE!!when we first arrived no one helped us with our luggage. The front desk lady was extremely rude to both me and my boyfriend. She even said "Jesus Christ" under her breath at us for asking a simple question. The was a dance competition going on so there were a bunch of teenager running atround like wild geese. The pool was suppose to be adults […] only after 9pm, finally thought we could have some peace and quiet, noope!! they told us they couldnt do anything about it. WE WILL NEVER BE RETURNING!! Les mer

Overall great stay at this Westin Whistler. The room was cozy and comfortable. The food at the on site restaurant was on par. Relatively good view (8th floor east). Enjoyed being able to walk from resort to village for everything. Some things to consider - although if you're staying at Westin, cost is not typically a major concern but some of the fees […] were a bit over the top (on site restaurant, room service, parking, movies and snack charges). 1 bedroom suite had queen... so close to walls we had to walk sideways to navigate around bed. Found and killed 4 large ants wandering the room. Room was so warm we had to open windows to maintain comfortable temperature. Some minor mildew in bathroom. Noise was minor (could hear conversations through walls and some kids running on floor above. If there is a concert at the ski lift, you will hear it. Spa was super, we had couples massage and milk bath. Pool a bit small, especially with kids - they need ample room to play. Indoor-outdoor pool was a cool feature. Since we were on the east wing (better view?) it felt a little awkward walking to spa/pool in robe passing by the conference rooms. Service was on par for a Westin. Les mer

No bubble bath in the tub (I know, usually I don't care, but to make-up for the fact that the pool is not great, this is a big thing for my kids). And who doesn't like a nice warm bath after a day of skiing? The staff is OK, some are super nice, some act like they do you a favor. The food is great, but $7 for a doppio? It seems almost like I was getting a drink with my coffee, but no I just got coffee. There were not many choices in the kids menu either. Les mer

Loved it! So happy we stayed there with the great amenities, as it rained on Friday and Saturday. We used the great workout and pool facilities...loved. The staff were great and we were so happy to have a later checkout, so we could change after doing some early skiing.LOVED it!

Excellent location next to the lift. Ski valet service free if you hire skis in the hotel shop which was also one of the cheapest in town the week we were there. The Spa is small for the size of the hotel and the pool and hot tub rather over run with children. Kitchen in the room is adequate and includes a dishwasher and oven. Coffee and tea replenished […] daily. I did not use the hotel restaurant but the food in the bar was very high quality so I probably made a mistake not trying the restaurant. A minor item but some of the woodwork in the kitchen could have used a little refurbisment but the gas fire in the bedroom was perfect for a ski hotel. Overall I would recommend the Westin hotels just for their legendry beds which are better than any hotel I have used over the years. Les mer

Very easy to access to the ski lifts. They have a valet which will take your skis at the bottom of the mountain which is very nice. The biggest negative is you kind of feel like you are being nickel and dimed for everything after paying so much to stay there. Oh, and the shower door in our room leaked water everywhere.

THe hotel is full service, and the location is very convenient for skiing and other activities at Whistler. However, the description of our room as a 'junior suite' implied more than one room. Instead it was a conventional hotel room size with one king bed and a pullout sofa, plus a small kitchenette in the entry way. It was very tight for a family […] with two children; practically speaking no place to enjoy TV etc without retracting the bed and rearranging every day. The restaurant, bar, and spa were good, and the pool was very good- you get in the water inside and can swim outside without getting cold. THe kids loved the pool However it was a little annoying that parking was $34/day and ski storage $8 per pair per day, and ski gear is not allowed in the rooms. Felt like nickel and diming. Les mer

The hotel was simply not ready for the new season. One day the cleaning came at 5 pm - simply to late. In the restaurant we had to wait 90 minutes for our dinner.

Great location in the village for ski in and out with valet service. Room has the usual Westin style amenities. Bathroom is big. Kitchen is well equipped. Soundproofing is good. Gym/pool/saunas/hot tubs are in good condition. Quality restaurant options and ski gear stores and rentals available on site. Indoor parking garage has sufficient stalls and […] easy access but is expensive per night. Wireless internet can get slow but works well if sticking to mobile formatted websites. Great hotel to stay for family. we stayed in Junior Queen. The room was clean and comfortable. All the staff members were friendly. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool after skiing. Parking was quite expensive ($30 per night for self-parking).

The services in the spa is mediocre. They will tell you that they have a special at $109, but when you will arrive they will add 12% Tax and 18% tip. It doesn't matter that you do not like the service they provided, you will still get charged. Massage is average quality and the facial I tried was very quick. My mother, daughter and myself went to Whistler for a long weekend. We reserved a 2 bedroom unit. The unit we were given was at the far end of the east tower. Although it was on the 8th floor we were at ground level. The balcony off the living room was easily accessible from the trails and had no railing around it. The balcony off the bedroom was so […] dark and blocked in by the hill that I would never use it. Only one of the two locks on the patio door worked. The unit was so dark and had such a poor view that we spent as little time as possible in it. Even though we had the kitchen a living area, we did not spend any time here. As we were ground floor with easy access to our balcony I did not feel safe having my 9 year old daughter sleep on the sofa bed in the livingroom, so she shared a bed with me. When I told a staff member about my concerns she just agreed that it was a dark area of the hotel and that yes it was ground level. The hotel was not full and I do not know why they would give 3 women this room. With all the other choices at Whistler I would not stay here again nor would I recommend the hotel. Les mer

Fantastic stay with our daughter and dog for an overnight getaway! The hotel is beautiful and the rooms stocked with everything you need including high chair and a dog bed and bowls on request. The checkin process was a little slow, keeping many people waiting but otherwise the staff was friendly and helpful. Great location with access to the village […] at the base of Whistler Mountain. Nice hotel. Having the suite next to mine full of screaming young kids in the early morning kind of ruined the experience for me as I wanted and needed sleep.

Location is very good and quality of hotel is better than its price. The one diappointing was that coffee maker in our room was not cleaned and smelled badly. We told it to the receptionist when we checked out, but she said just "oh!". We expected more proffessional reaction. The room has most of kitchen equipments, but I recommend to bring a dining […] table, otherwise you have to use ottman for breakfast and dinner. Les mer

Absolutely LOVED our stay and would stay here again in a heartbeat. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Nice pool, very comfy beds and fabulous location close to everything Whistler village has to offer. Only complaint was that it was too warm in the room at night. Everything else was fabulous :)

Great hotel staff and cleaning staff. We were especially impressed with the restaurant and the restaurant staff. The food was a bit expensive but worth the extra money.

This was our first trip to Whistler and sadly the hotel was very disappointing. We arrived at 3:30pm and were told that our room would be ready shortly and that the hotel has a guaranteed 4pm check-in time (this was repeated to us numerous times). We were asked to leave our cell number and they would call us if the room was ready before 4pm; so we did. […] At 4:15pm I went up to the desk and was told that they had to check if the room was ready and they would bring my key over to me. At 5:15pm we still did not see anyone so went back up to the desk where the manager apologized and said they would bring up breakfast vouchers as a way of apologizing to us. By the time I woke up in the morning the only thing that was dropped off for us was a bill for the parking. After my shower in the morning I reached for a towel under the sink and there was an empty alcohol bottle under my towel. Although Whistler was very beautiful I feel that with this experience I am in no rush to return. Les mer

Got ourselves a vaulted ceiling room on the top floor - we had a great time, although we wish that there were later hours for the hot tub/pool. Parking is a bit pricey (30 CAD/night), but overall we were really happy.

We were in need of a one night get-away as we hadn't been away all summer as a family. The staff were courteous and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The room rate was a bit high but other than that, it was a great get-away.

Very nice room - comfortable bed, nice bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower, plus "full" kitchen. Pool small but big enough with a perfect steam room in the men's locker room. Restaurant food and service exeplary! Two minute walk to the gondola.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at the Westin. We were pleasantly surprised to get a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the lifts, and with it's own terrace! We enjoyed having the extra outdoor space and our two kids loved sitting outside to read. The indoor/outdoor pools and hottubs were great. We had lovely service from beginning to end.
