Great hotel but I would've loved to have learned of the member benefits that were included before the day of checkout. Staff was very nice and helpful, rooms were very clean and extremely comfortable. Excellent value, I will definitely be going back.

I was bummed the hotel pool faced north.... Not a lot of sun most of the day. Hit or miss.... Nice place but felt a little spring break-ish with loud music at the pool. I wouldn't go back but thought our stay was decent. I also didn't realize this place is a time share.....

Perfect location for Disney World and other parks didn't have to travel far to get to parks.

The Westgate resort in Orlando is an excellent place to stay if going to Universal Studio's.

The rooms were a little small and cramped but the hotel employees were great - very helpful. The hotel was just off International Drive and on Universal blvd. Which made it nice when going to Universal.

We had a good stay. Just would have liked one more comfortable chair in the living space. (And there were only 3 of us.)

West gate Palace is a bit overpriced for what seems like an attempt to refurbish a old hotel. The location was close to IDrive so that was a plus. Upon check in you are encouraged to a "free"breakfast which is an attempt to pitch a sales prom of their timeshare. Needless to say I declined. Accommodation for a group is a plus but for the same or better […] price I have stayed at much nicer "resorts" or their rendition of a resort. Les mer

We loved our beautiful 2 bedroom villa! It was so nice to have two seperate rooms and a full kitchen and living area. The check in lady was not very friendly but the room was amazing!

Me and my family had an awesome stay. The room was everything it said it would be. Check-in was a little long...say no to the gift basket. They trying to get you to buy time share. Other than that I give it 5 stars. And everything Orlando is within 5 miles.

While the customer service depended on who was helping you. At the end if you get the right person they are wonderful however there was a lady in the front desk who was very rude. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The room was not as pictured which was a disappointment. The "jacuzzi" was the bath tub.

This was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, living room and kitchen. A very nice place, my grandchildren were impressed. The check-in was a little slow and the check-out on Sunday was hectic. The elevators were very slow on Sunday as everyone was leaving at the same time. Overall a good value for the money. This is also a time share residence and there is a lot of […] selling going on. We checked into the two bedroom condo. Our party consisted of 4 people. From the time we entered the front door, we were treated as valued guest. Every person we encountered was pleasant and most helpful. If we ever need to stay in the Orlando area again, this would be my first choice.

Great hotel for famileis that would like to have a kitchenette - close to Universal Studios. Little cramped for 2 rooms but enough to get by. Maid did not clean room that day (Sunday) just knocked and left. Overall a very good value.

A very pleasant surprise. Clean, convenient, friendly, incredibly cost efficient. Not much to look at from the outside, but who cares - you are at the parks all day. Took a chance and was happy I did.

We had a lovely stay. Staff was friendly, service was excellent, and our room was comfortable. Two small issues were a tiny roach near the wastebasket in the closet when we arrived, and another bigger roach climbing above the window in our bedroom. Front desk handled everything promptly. I recently stayed at the westgate palace and was a little disappointed after seeing the photos of the room online to open the door of my condo to find it was a much smaller version with different modifications. Was very surprise that they did not offer wifi and had to pay for internet service. When I came back to the room late that evening after a long […] day at the local amusement park I was not too happy I had to park across the street in an parking lot of an local closed business and had to cross a 4 lane road with a median in the middle. The overall the room was nice but might think about looking around before booking again. Les mer

This hotel tried to up sale add on items upon checkin which caused a very long check in process, fuse blew in room so there was no power on outside wall outlets, mirrors were not cleaned when room was made up, there were not enough parking spaces so they parked guests in the FIRE lane and across street. I was very excited about my stay at Westgate Palace, but that excitment quickly slipped away once I arrived. For the price of this hotel, you would expect check in to be quick... NOPE. The staff was courteous, but I would not say friendly. Once you check in, you are taken to another counter and ask if you would like to go to their "special" information […] meeting at 8:30am for a full breakfast and a late check out time of 12pm. When you say, "no," you are reminded that your check out time is 10am a bellboy is called over to take you to your room. The rooms are nice and well maintained. Yes, you can sleep 6 people in the room, but whatever you do DO NOT try to move. The room is very small to be considered a suite. Also, don't plan on driving your car because if you are lucky enough to get a parking place, and then you move your car and return after 8pm, you will have to park across the street in a dark lot. Oh, and don't let me forget to mention that this parking lot is part of a CLUB parking lot. Yes, there were shady characters parked just inches away. For what you pay here, I would take my money and go to another hotel with enough parking, more room, and a friendlier staff. Les mer

First time we have ever stayed at the Westgate Palace. Made the reservation the night before we arrived. Pleasantly surprised with the professionalism of the staff and cleanliness of the room. They have made use of every square foot in the condo rooms, but it was still very comfortable for 4 adults and 2 children. My husband and I enjoyed the service and the convience of being able to purchace Universal tickets right at the hotel. Next time we vist this is where we will be staying! My children were able to have there space too.

Excellent location to Universal. Friendly desk staff. No hot tub? Heated pool and steam rom made up for it. Small TVs. Graet views of the parks and city skyline.

The location to universal was very convenient, however, I was expecting a room that was similar to what was pictured online when I booked. I ended up having to swap rooms because I was given the wrong bed-size in one of the bedrooms. Also, there was no jacuzzi tub in the "master" bedroom as promised. Finally, the fire alarm went off at 2:30 in the morning […] and when we rushed outside, we noticed that only our floor had been evacuated. None of the hotel staff even came around to check on us. We had to go back into the front desk to ask if we could return to our rooms 30 minutes later when the alarm went off. Les mer

I needed a place that would hold 6 people, so I found this hotel/condo on Hotels.com that fit the bill. A really nice place and convenient to area attractions. The only real complaint was that upon arrival I was treated like I was there on a time-share sales gimmick. Not cool as I had no interest in this but they would not take no for an answer. Trying […] to sign me up for the breakfast seminars and selling me discounted (so they said) tickets to area attractions. As I was not expecting this, it was a lot off-putting. Les mer

Taxi ride 5 minutes and only $10 to Universal.Much more convenient than hassle of parking there. Hotel doesn't have coffee until 8:00am which is inconvenient

The staff was kind and efficient. Seemed more interested in pitching the Resorts Time-Share, Interval-Ownership, or whatever they call it these days. Once the sales pitch & request for another sales pitch at breakfast (hour long this time) was over; they were courteous and short. I had declined the breakfast. You WILL need your room key immediately; […] for access to the tower, elevators and finally your room. Rooms were small, but comfortable. The kitchen had every dish and tool you could want. All nicely placed and clean, even a dishwasher. There was a TV in all three room; the kids liked this. Could have done without the completely mirrored tub area; but the Jacuzzi-style jets were nice. View was nice, able to see fireworks from the various parks. Location was nice for avoiding heavy traffic on International Drive. That itself was worth the bit of extra cost; but still being close to the “action.” Overall… I would stay again. Les mer

My stay at the Westgate Palace was fabulous. The unit even included a washer & dryer which we had to use. Rooms were spacious and unlike some rentals that only supply televisions Westgate comes with DVD Players & Radio, so if you just want to listen to music or watch your own movies you could. Central to WDW/Universal/Shopping. Nice quality. Excellent for family stay.

Upon arrival the line to check in was out the door!!! I stayed in line for an hour and 10 mins. There were people complaining and disgusted with the way the establishment did not prepare for the volume of people that preregistered. I was disappointed because the room I was given was not what was showed on the website. I was assigned to a corner room […] with half kitchen. I am a owner of another resort and stayed at Westgate Palace in the past and was very pleased which is the reason I returned. However, after experiencing the aforementioned I will never come back there and will make it known to family and friends not to think about staying there because it is not what it is made out to be. It was a very nice resort type hotel, however the bed was a little hard and the pillows not standard size pillows. The little amenities in the room such as coffee was not there even though a coffee maker was and a remote for the TV was missing from the king bedroom. However, it was very clean and spacious and could easily have fitted six people. The […] only one drawback -- and it is a small one -- is that they're trying to sell timeshares there so once you've checked in you have (very friendly) salespeople trying to get you to come to breakfast with the promise of gift cards and cash. only there for 1 nite. I got a huge discounted rate from a rewards nite - otherwise wouldve been disappointed paying the regular high rate. The beds in the 2nd room were twin. The pullout sofa was merely material over painful springs and I needed that extra sleeping space - the main reason i got the room. BREAKFAST NOT INCLUDED! Big disappointment. […] If you attend the "sales pitch" then u can have the bfast. The checkin staff were very friendly. Room cleaner than most, but not as clean as some. Limited "walk around" room. Wouldnt stay again. Close to everything in international drive area. There was a delivery pizza scam going on that they warned us about. Les mer
