Pretty scary....first, they put us in the wrong room. We moved. The phone didn't work, so the desk guy spent 10 min. or so working on that. When he finally brought the roll-away, our daughter sat on it and it folded in half....very uncomfortable. The "continental breakfast" consisted of no juice (the machine was broken), stale cereal, and packaged pastries. […] Like Little Debbies. Noisy refrigerator, no coffee pot in the room, couldn't plug the microwave in unless you unplugged something else. Very messy and stained carpeting. The bathroom was pretty clean. Needs updated very badly. Les mer

Was told they didn't have a room with 2 queen beds, but told they had a king with a fold out couch. Upon check in found out it was a roll away bed. The floors in the room need to be vacummed. Reservation was for 1 adult and 2 children, still had to ask for towels both days. The breakfast was nothing but sugar and carbs for most part. The front enterance […] had a terrible odor that gaged you as you walked in. This was not my first choice of hotel in the area but the only one that had a room would have rather stayed in Ames, but short notice so I got what I could get. This place isa last chance, only choice kind of place. Would avoid it at all cost have tried it twice before with same results. Place appears dirty and could use some updates. The cost should be about 30 bucks less for what you get. Les mer

Our was very close to the front desk....can hear door closing most of the time. The lights went off when you are using the microwave. The breakfast was a nice bonus, lots to choose from.

We have stayed many times at this motel and have been satisfied with the conditions. However, this last visit was not pleasant, as it was very cold in the room & bathroom as no heat in the room when we arrived after 3 pm the first day. In addition, there was no coffee pot or coffee as well as no clock in the room which we did not notice until too late […] to ask for them when we returned to the room later the first night. We left a note the next morning, and when we were back in the room later the second day, we did have the coffee pot and clock, but no coffee. Again, the room was very, very cold as the heater was not turned on high enough to make the room or bathroom comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good. Very quiet neighborhood/motel. I recently stayed at this hotel because I needed a hotel to stay in that was close to my parents home. This one was convenient in that it was just down the street and really the only one in Nevada. The service was extremely poor. There was never anyone at the front desk. We had to to ring a bell for someone to come check us in and then had to wait for […] 5 minutes for someone to come. The heat was not on once we were in the room so it was freezing. The halls were cold. The shower took about 10 minutes for the water to get warm. The cleanliness of the room was mediocre, not the best and not the worst. Overall I felt that for what we got we overpaid. If you don't need to convenience of being in Nevada, look elsewhere. We had to shut the restroom door as the urine smell was horrible. The heater set off the smoke alarm. We couldn't wait to get home to take a shower.

This Budget Inn was the seediest motel I have ever witnessed. Worn out, graying towels, stained shower curtain, all bedding and whole room smelled like smoke though we reserved nonsmoking room. The TV remote did not work, the alarm clock did not work and there was no coffee pot for the coffee maker - so no coffee. Inexpensive yeah but not worth anything […] close to what I paid for it. I am not sure I would ever book a Budget Inn again and Expedia is doing itself no favors by keeping this guy on their site. Les mer

Location is the only good thing I could say about this place. It smelled like stale smoke and I'm fairly sure the towels were not clean.

July check in, hot and muggy. Air was off when got to room, and did not catch up all night. Left it on when we left next morning, but it was shut off again when we returned. Once again, it could not catch up so it was another hot and muggy night. Room was not very clean, and it smelled moldy. Was told when made reservation that it was nearly sold out, […] but we think we were the only guests on Fri. nite, and on Sat. nite there were only 2 other cars in the parking lot. Motel was located closest to our business dealings, but would travel a lot farther to not stay again in this motel. Les mer

The hotel itself is in decent condition. Hot water was not available even after running the shower for 10 minutes on hot (both in the evening at approximately 6:30 PM and at 5:00 AM). Luke warm was the best ever seen. Other hotel guests were unruly, cussing and moving between rooms until after 1 AM in the morning. Continental breakfast was as ex […] pected. Les mer

We have stayed at this hotel before but was under a different name. Back then I was not impressed with as I am now. The carpet in the room felt dirty and I wouldn't walk on it with your bare feet. At check in the lady was confused/lost as what she was doing. I would stay in Ames and drive alittle longer next time we are in Neveda, IA.
