Vi ble hyggelig mottatt og fikk først rom 202. Vi fikk så en rask innføring i rommet og fikk da beskjed om at vi ikke kunne stille temperaturen fra rommet. Luftanlegget bråkte mye og gikk av og på. det var elektrisk gardin som vi ikke fikk til å fungere. Rommet var stort og fint, men litt slitt. Dagen etter spurte jeg om det var mulig å få en oppgradering. […] Dette var mulig og jeg ble lovd et større og bedre rom i 5 etasje. Vi fikk så rom 503 som var mindre enn 202. Det kostet også en del mer. Jeg sa jeg ikke ville ha det og fikk 504. Dette var større og hadde en flott terrasse mot baksiden av kvartalet, men lå inntil heissjakta for serviceheisen. Her var det en del støy. Ba så om å bli flyttet tilbake til 202 eller tilsvarende og fikk da 402 i fjerde etsaje. Dette må kunne betegnes som et helt fantastisk fint rom. Stort, trivelig, alt virket og med balkong med kjempefin utsikt. Frokosten var også veldig god, og vi synes ikke prisen på 19 Euro per pers var ille i forhold til kvaliteten. Overraskende fint hotell. Gjennomført innredning på rommene og god service på hotellet generelt. Bra beliggenhet i forhold til shopping, men litt langt å gå til stranda. Metrostasjon rett utenfor hotellet. Mange bra resturanter i nærheten.

Great hotel with a great location!

Great location, but facilities and services bring down the overall rating. The Lift was not working for 2 straight days, so we needed to take the stairs which was completely dark and no one thought about turning on the light. WIFI is highly unstable and half of the time it simply didn't work at all. Staff was not particularly interested in solving the […] WIFI problem (called them and complained, they promised to come to our room to fix it but never showed up). Not helpful at all either when we requested for late check-out at 1pm (usually that's quite reasonable). Overall disappointed and will not stay there next time. Les mer

Hotel couldn't be more converniently located (straight outside Paseo de Gracia metro stop - direct line from the airport) and from there it's an easy walk to most of the sights and main districts. Room was very comfortable although let down by the a/c not working. There's not much of a bar / restaurant to write home about in the hotel itself but if […] like us you're looking for a very comfortable room, in a great location at a reasonable price and want to get out and about as much as possible then this is the place for you. Hotel 62 is located right in the heart of L'Eixample neighborhood with all its Gaudi sites, plus many upscale shopping venues. We loved just choosing a side street to walk down and explore. My husband and I recently stayed for four nights at Hotel 62, and had a wonderful visit in the fabulous hotel and beautiful city of Barcelona. Our room was elegant, yet very comfortable. We liked the small size of the hotel and the hospitality of the staff. They were very helpful with directions to restaurants and places to visit in the city. The hotel […] could not have been in a more convenient location with both subway and bus lines nearby, as well as shopping, restaurants, and beautiful places to visit within easy walking distance. Our room was very quiet and my husband and I agreed that our bed was almost too comfy to leave!! We have traveled a lot and stayed in many hotels all over Europe, and Hotel 62 was one of our most pleasant experiences. I especially loved the very modern, big bathroom and the sitting area with the lovely bay window. Thanks for making our stay in Barcelona so memorable...I hope we will return soon! Les mer

Very nice hotel...great location and within walking distance to shopping and great attractions. Staff was nice but didn't seem enthusiastic about showcasing their city! Breakfast too expensive - plenty of alternatives nearby.

The hotel is located at the heart of Pasei De Gracia, "the Fifth Av. of Barcelona" it has a small lobby and the bedrooms arent so big either but they are very comfortable, modern looking and the bed is GREAT.

Upon arrival to the hotel, I was immediately impressed. It was built with modern, green design concept. The location was perfect. I felt completely safe in the neighborhood even though I was travelling by myself. The area is mostly shopping but there is a sports bar a few doors down and an excellent tapas bar about two blocks away that fed me almost […] every day. It is walking distance to Julia Travel office if you are planning on doing organized tours and to Las Ramblas. The room was ultra modern with sliding glass doors in the bathroom. There was a separate tub and shower. The view from the balcony overlooking the Passeig was very entertaining on the weekend nights. My only complaint was the room temperature. Even though I kept the thermostat on 19C (66F) the room never really cooled down less than 80F. I asked the front desk about it thinking there was a problem with the system, and he said that everything was working fine. Fortunately, I was there in April so the nights were still cool. I left the door open for an hour or so before going to bed and was thus able to sleep. Unfortunately, because my room was facing Passeig de Gracia, the noise prevented me from leaving the door open all night. Even though everything else was perfect, this would sadly keep me from staying here again. Les mer

Over a 35 year period, I've traveled extensively...and stayed in everything from hostels to 5 Star properties. Having read previous reviews, I anticipated a great stay at Hotel Sixtytwo. Unfortunately, the property was among my most disappointing experiences. Barcelona is not an inexpensive city so it's a given that you'll have to pay, which we did. […] On the positive side, this property is located on one of the main boulevards, with great proximity to many of the usual tourist experiences. The biggest negative is the poor service and nonchalant attitude of the desk help. Coupled with the fact that the property is a bit run down, typically cramped, and not as well maintained as you might expect, there are dozens of alternatives that represent a better value. The shower was clogged, the closet door was off the tracks (which wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact that it blocked the hallway), the blinds were broken...you get the idea. You can expect to pay extra for virtually everything (breakfast, Internet, etc.) to add insult to injury, Needless to say, we did not find the experience worthwhile. Perhaps our expectations were too high but after 300+ hotel visits, we have some sense of comparison. It's always possible Barcelona has become so popular that mediocrity is acceptable. This hotel had everything that you could hope for in a downtown Barcelona location that was perfect for touring this great city. The staff was excellent and as accommodating as they could be. Rooms were very comfortable-quality beds, quiet, real nice bath and shower and pleasant modern motif. Highly recommended in every way!!

Good location and nicely design...very convenience.

The hotel enjoys a very good location in the heart of Barcelona yet away from the street rush of Ramblas, a few of Gaudi's masterpieces are a walk away. The hotel is located in a beautiful neighborhood with museums within walking distance, high end shopping, the metro is right outside your door and excellent selection of restaurants. The hotel is a small boutique hotel and is very sophisticated in terms of decor and style. The bed was extremely comfortable (the best bed of our 2 week stay throughout […] Europe). The staff is helpful and the breakfast was very good. It was very hot while we were there and the thermostat was not quite what it read and the hallways are not air conditioned. This is a great boutique hotel one bloch away from Gaudi Casa Mila. Great customer service, stayed there one night, the concierge updated us to a room with a patio. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Rooms were pretty large by European standards. It was definitely worth the money.

If you're looking for a boutique hotel in Barcelona, then I'd highly recommend Hotel Sixtytwo. Besides being centrally located, the facility's low-key facade hides a welcoming interior, attentive service, and an intimate feel. Having made the reservations "blind" without a personal recommendation, we were immediately more than pleasantly surprised and […] happy with our choice. After a tiring flight on a vert hot day, we were greeted by very friendly front desk staff and given a complimentary upgrade on arrival. If you can manage book room #502, you'll not be disappointed... perhaps one of the best hotel rooms in Barcelona. Though not a suite, the room is spacious and has a bath that can only be described as luxurious. The room also comes with a magnificent and large tiered balcony with the top tier offering excellent views of Casa Batilo and the rooftops of the city westwards. The primary tier of the balcony contains two chaises for lounging, a small table, and plenty of room to spare. The second tier had a dining table that comfortably accommodated two for a pleasant meal. So whether you choose to be indoors or outdoors, this room has it all. In addition to being located in the center of Paseo de Gracia in the commercial heart of Barcelona, the hotel has the advantage of having a min subway hub practically at it's doorstep. And though destinations such as The Rambla and the Old City are easily within walking distance, easy access to Barcelona's clean, modern metro is certainly a benefit to getting around the city. So, if you're not tied to wanting a full-service hotel, I'd highly recommend you consider Hotel Sixtytwo. I believe that you'll not be disappointed and may even find the "honesty bar" on the second floor to be both unusual and entertaining. Hotel 62 is set in a brilliant location. We caught the train from the airport to Passeig de Gracia station and the hotel is situated 30 seconds away. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and we were able to leave our luggage there before checking in at 2. Casa Battlo and La Predrera are very close by and Las Ramblas is about a 10minute walk. The […] only negative thing and I can't be sure is that both my friend and I suffered from bad backs during our whole stay which I think were from the beds which are a bit uncomfortable. Les mer

The Eixample neighborhood is a great place to stay in Barcelona. It is more relaxed and quiet than the Rambla area and access to the metro is wonderful. Most of the sites we visited (Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Montjuic) were a short metro ride away and with the T10 metro pass that can be used by multiple people we were able to see and do lots during […] our short stay. Situation centrale, proche des commodités (bus, métro, train pour aéroport...). Décoration moderne assez réussie dans un bâtiment ancien . Mon séjour (2 nuits) y fut très agréable, les chambres sont propres, spacieuses avec une belle hauteur sous plafond et bien équipées (grande SDB, dock Ipod, écran Bang&Olusfsen). Plutôt convaincu par cet hôtel aux […] prestations soignées dans un quartier assez huppé (le Passeig de Gracia est en quelque sorte l'équivalent des Champs Elysées de Barcelone toutes proportions gardées) pour un prix qui reste compétitif. Hotel Six two di Barcellona-posizione ottima e centrale che consente lo spostamento senza nessun problema sia con autobus che con metro. Il personale gentile e cortese.

Foi tudo perfeito. O hotel é excelente e não poderia ser melhor localizado. Recomendo e voltaria a me hospedar lá com certeza.

Det "lilla" hotellet har ett perfekt läge, nära till shopping och stadscenter. Trevlig tillmötesgående personal. Välstädat rum, som var fyllt med tekniska finnesser. Rummen mot innergården fria från störande gatuljud.

Stille high tech hotel, med al den service du vil forvente af et lille luxus hotel i en storby. Yderst centralt beliggende i forhold til shopping og seværdigheder.

Hôtel idéalement situé à 15 mn de marche de la place Catalunya, dans les "champs élysées" barcelonais... Chambre très agréable et confortable au design épuré. petit bémol : chambre dispo à 12h00 logiquement, mais à 13h00 lorsque nous sommes arrivés pour déposer nos bagages, aucune des 2 chambres n'étaient prêtes...après avoir manger non loin de l'hôtel […] nous sommes revenus et avons déposés nos affaires : ménage effectué certes; mais qques écarts constatés (poussières, télécommandes cassée,...) surprenant pour le standing de l'hôtel.
