Perfekt beliggenhet i forhold til Messebesøk. Bra hotellstandard. Kunne vært bedre internettdekning og lettere oppkobling. Varrme alternativer ved frokosten kunne også vært et bra tilbud.

Bra frokost som også inneholder vin inkludert. Pass bare på å bestille hos kelnerne fra menyen istedet for bare å velge fra buffeen. Rommet var moderne, noe mørkt, med et bra bad. Rett over veien fra sentralstasjonen og kort gangavstand til Messeområdene. Vi gikk også til hovedhandlegata og tilbake uten problemer.

The people at the Steigenberger were wonderful. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the city and surrounding country side. Also very courteous and friendly. The hotel's location next to the train station made it very convenient for our day trips to Koblenz and Heidelberg, both of which were beautiful cities to visit. The location was also a negative […] because the area around the train staion is not the greatest. If you exit by platform 24, you just have to cross the street to get to the hotel, and this was fine for two women traveling together. It was also easy to get around the city from this location. the front desk was very helpful and professional. I used many amenities...sauna, printer, gym and solarium and appreciated their help. The wifi was above average and it was difficult to print, so not that fab for business. But again, the front desk was extremely helpful.

Due to train trouble I ended up getting to the hotel very late 3:30 AM and was only able to stay for a grand total of 5 hours. That having been said, I found it to be a very nice hotel and specifically the shower is amazing!! The shower head was one of those gentle rain shower types, only the water pressure was cranked up to 11 and the result was it […] exfoliates while it rinses! The breakfast was good but had a limited selection. The location was perfect for me because I had catch a flight at Frankfurt flughafen (airport), and all I had to do was cross the street and get onto a train which leaves every 15 minutes in the morning. I stayed here during my yearly attendance of a trade fair at the Frankfurt Messe. This is a good location only being a about a 15 minute walk from the Messe, Of course the rates are expensive whenever a large trade fair comes to town. Overall the room was decent, not huge but typical for European rooms. My only complaint was that the free wifi in the […] room repeatedly dropped off for long periods of time and then would come back on. It was not a consistent connection and although I asked at the front desk, they told me it must be my PC as nobody else complained. Yeah right. Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights I found the staff very polite and friendly ! Take no notice of some reviews on trip advisor that say this is not a 5 stars hotel! The decor is almost faultless and you literally start walking the red carpet as soon as you enter the steps into the hotel.The bathrooms are very modern with rainfall showers and nice ''the […] white company'' toiletries . The bed is very confortable and you can play your Ipod in the room even that the sound is not great it can be used set low! FREE WI FI was good too. The negatives from me: pillow too soft and I did expect more pillows for a 5 stars standard but im sure if thats the only problem they will provide extra!(even that I think they should be there in the first place!!) the breakfast was also good with a nice selection! ( not the best breakfast I have experienced tho!) Overall I was impressed with the hotel , the location is excellent for travelling by train as it is right next door to the main train station! Love the fact that this hotel is right in front of the train station. The bathroom is very nice and comfortable with bright lights. The floor of the bathroom is heated for the winter. It was a good and comfortable stay. Loved the free wifi in rooms. However, the hotel cant be rated as 5 Star due to the too small rooms.

Good location for easy transfer from airport / train station. Only 15 minute walk to Christmas markets which were the reason for our visit. Quiet hotel considering location.

Hotel is very convenient - located immediately opposite the main railway station (trains run directly to and from the airport), Generally hotel and rooms are very nice - clean and well decorated. Pillows are possibly a little soft and it would have been nice to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but the bed was very comfortable and there […] was a lovely deep bath to relax in after a day's sightseeing. It is expensive to eat/drink in the hotel, but there are a number of nice restaurants in close proximity. This is a very beautiful hotel in the heart of Frankfurt. We chose it for its location and we wanted a 5 star hotel for the last night of our trip. We were not disappointed. A very friendly doorman was waiting for us on arrival and helped us to reception where we were greeted by a young, efficient man. We checked in and went to our room. We booked a […] deluxe super room which was a very reasonable price and the room was lovely. We walked out of the hotel armed with a map reception had provided for us and the directions to the Christmas markets. After a brief 10 minute stroll we arrived. We did have to walk past the red light district which was not at all intimidating as they all operate out of shops and seemed to be very discreet. After a couple of hours wandering through the busy markets we went back to the hotel for a drink. The bar had a nice, relaxed atmosphere and the batman spoke excellent English. We had a good nights sleep as the hotel was quiet despite there being a train station opposite, you would never have known. Do be prepared to pay for your parking though. The hotel will reduce the price but you're looking at €18 overnight. Les mer

Steinberger hotels have good reputation. This hotel had Steinberger like service but the hotel was not as luxurious as e.g. the Steinberger Herrenhof in Vienna, prob. owing to its location near the main railway station. But that location and its proximity to ther River etc. are the main reason to stay there. The eighborhood is not great but that is […] typical for railway staions so I did not expect any better. Stay was fine escept for a noisy waterpipe that made a loud squealing noise every 10 minutes all night and we didnt get much sleep.

The room was not very large, but was very well arranged so that it was quite comfortable. It was nice having both a bathtub and shower in the bathroom, and the make-up mirror was a plus. The staff were professional, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located next to the train station, and within walking distance of all the sights […] we wanted to visit in the city. Transportation to any place in the area is available at the train station. We never heard noise from the train station despite being so close. The hotel is secure, clean, in really good condition throughout. The rooms are clean, modern, well dressed. The room had some nice touches such as a bathrobe, slippers and an umbrella. I did not try any food at the hotel but the breakfast looked decent. Nice lobby w/big leather chairs and a bar. Conveniently located across the street from the main train […] station but not convenient to much else. The bad news, especially for a business traveler, the WIFI is terrible. At times it would not even connect hardwired. Also, everytime you reconnect you have to enter your credentials so make sure not to lose the little paper they give you at the reception desk with the login and password. It was nearly impossible to get any work done and communicate via skype. Lastly, the area is known as the Financial District but they dont tell you it turns into the Red Light District at night. just beware, it can be sketchy at night. Les mer

We enjoyed our stay. From meeting the young man at registration who was most helpful with directions and suggestions, to the Sunday morning breakfast that started off our travel with a great meal.

It is a great and clean hotel with very helpful staff and wonderful breakfast. Parking is a problem due to the number of spaces available (only 7 spots for a hotel this size). It was a great stay and we will stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. It's very convenient to the main train station, and there is a certain grittiness in the neighborhood that goes with that. I was surprised that there was no coffee service in the room... that's the first hotel that didn't provide coffee. Excellent staff, good hotel building, excellent breakfast buffet, very convenient for travel as the hotel is right opposite the train station, but the surrounding area of the hotel is rather rough (depending upon which direction you walk).

Absolutely no complaints about are stay. Clean, well maintained rooms, short walk to shopping and restaurants, across the street from the train station. Parking was somewhat expensive.

This hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, and one might be concerned as it's right next to the train station next to lots of sketchy stuff. But this hotel is lovely, modern, and clean on the inside. Just what one would expect from Steigenberger chain. I'll be back anytime I'm in Frankfurt and need a quick access to the station.
