"North Cincinnati"
The room smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. We asked if we could have a different room and was denied! Bedding had burnt marks from the cigarettes. Bathroom ceiling looked like it previously had water coming from the bathrrom above. Staff was not very friendly especially in the morning during breakfast! Our stay was 2 nights. "So-So"
The first room we checked into hadn't been cleaned yet. The second room was a smoking room when we specifically asked for non smoking and it had a very strong smoke odor. The third room was great. They did make it right, though, by giving us the smoking room and the good room fir just the one room price. "LaQuinta Hotel Springdale, OH"
This hotel is a hair above being a sleezy dive in my opinion. I was extremely disappointed in the condition of the place. The carpet in the entrance was dirty and although a "no smoking" sign was on the front door, each day I smelled cigarette smoke in the lobby. I knew when I entered the room that I would have preferred to stay somewhere else but since […] I had paid for the room in advance with Hotels.com I could not obtain a refund. The towel rack in the bathroom fell off the wall while I was removing the towel. The tan/heat lamp in the bathroom is uncomfortable and the exhaust fan is very noisy. The continental breakfast was not appetizing. The staff were as helpful as they could be however. This place could use some serious updating or it should be torn down and rebuilt. The fixtures are old and it shows. There's no microwave or small refrigerator in the room so the room cost is a bit high in my opinion. I did like the tv and internet service. Les mer

"Good value and location"
They have apparently been doing renovations at this hotel. The room was confortable with nice furniture and good workspace. The bed was great. They had new flat screen televisions. I would stay here again. The front desk staff was very friendly.
Hotel Hall ways had strong odor of cigarette smoke and my room was non smoking room but after i left room my luggage and clothes had odor of cigarette smoke

Stayed here when visiting my daughter at school nearby. The management staff is very friendly, but the hotel is a bit run down. Our bathroom smelled mildewy. Good location, near shopping, movie theaters and some good restaurants.
"Acceptable but not great"
This hotel was fine, but not the best I've been to. We are non smokers and luckily took the last 2 rooms left. The hallway smelled like smoke and the elevator had a funny smell (maybe trying to cover up smoke smell??) The beds were comfortable. The toilet wiggled a little when you sat on it, but it worked and was clean. Breakfast was fine with waffles […] along with other continental foods. Overall was acceptable, but will probably look for a different place if rooms are available somewhere else at a comparable price. Les mer

I read all the other reviews and was not expecting too much. Truth be told we enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean. Public areas were clean. The management and service personnel were extremely helpful and nice. Absolutely no complaints. We were there for parents weekend @ Miami of Ohio, the university is about 20/25 mins. away. "One night stay"
The Room was clean. The staff was friendly. The AC worked in the middle of summer. The Breakfast was stocked and clean.

My main complaint would be the old towel and wash cloth that were not removed from the previous occupant. If you stay on a Thursday night, the bar across the parking lot gets very full with patrons who take up most of the hotel parking and are pretty loud when the bar lets out.
"About 20 minutes outside of Cinci - pet friendly."
I ended up choosing this hotel because it was on sale ($72/night for 3 adults) and accepted pets at no extra charge. The location is about 20 miles outside of Cincinnati but the 275 exit is right down the road, so it's very accessible to the interstate. There are plenty of places to eat on the cheap right around the hotel. We ended up ordering La Rosa's […] Pizza one night - which was your typical chain pizza, nothing special. Wanted to try Dewey's but didn't get a chance. The continental breakfast is ample (hard-boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, cereal, waffles, fruit, yogurt) and the staff were friendly and prompt in their service. If you're bothered by cigarrette smoke, the smoke travels freely in the halls and infiltrates the non-smoking rooms, making it impossible not to smell it. If you bring a pet there is a nice big empty mall parking lot to take your dog for a walk and to do its business. The rooms aren't the greatest but they're just enough for what you'd expect. Some people may possibly characterize the rooms as slightly dingy, but I thought it was sufficient. The building is slightly worn as well. Overall, I'd rate the stay average, 5/10. Les mer
"Visiting the Area"
We stayed here b/c the hotel was around the corner from a friend we were visiting. It is not a 5 star hotel but was good enough for our one night stay. A little bit more pricey but served its purpose. Free breakfast was convienent. If your not looking for luxery and a white robe then this is not the place.
"Nice hotel if you need to save $"
We've stayed in really bad hotels & really good hotels and it's the staff that brings this rating up. It's an older hotel, but the rooms & linens are clean. Very convient to I275, TriCounty mall and Fairfield. Lots of good places to eat nearby also.
"Close to the rugby Tourney"
Needed a place to crash for Friday night before a rugby tournament. Served its purpose well. Quick check-in and checkout.

"Not Bad, great deal for the money"
The hotel is located right off of 275, and is very close to everything! I had a dog with me and they have a place in the back to walk your dog! It was quiet, would recommend

"Good Place to Stay for the Money"
No real complaints, the room was clean, the WiFi worked well, for a couple of nights on a business trip this was comfortable and cost effective.
