The bed was comfortable and the breakfast is a delight. The room was warm and comfortable. This is an older building with older plumbing so the water pipes are wee bit noisy, but not so much that it keeps one awake (and I am a light sleeper). Enjoyed our stay and really relaxed.

Hotel staff were very accommodating. Room was comfortable. We liked the location near downtown Jackson. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was very competitive with other hotels in the Jackson area. I would recommend to others and would stay there again.

This was a charming and down to earth experience for the value. A lot of attention to making the experience comfortable, clean and convenient as well as providing a feel for Jackson Hole climbing history. Definitely would stay again and next longer so I could book a massage and spa treatments!!!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our one night stay. We definitely want to return and stay longer. We enjoyed the smaller and more intimate environment that Alpine provided. We easily walked to the downtown area for the evening. There is also a great little restaurant just a block or so away. The bed was super comfy, the hotel was super quiet, being off the main drag. Woke up to the smell of breakfast being prepared which was one of the best I've ever had. Great selection, excellent coffee, can't say enough. They even offered espresso which was a plus for us (although it cost extra, still less than the coffee house down the street!). The […] evenings you had the option of having a cocktail, beer or wine and sit outside, or they also have a little library room. Also a recommendation for dinner to Lotus just a block away ... one of the most interesting menus, and one of the best meals I've had out in a long time. Only complaint, if you can call it that, was that our room was very small, although there was a little deck you could sit outside (again super small), and no view of the Tetons or something other than just the buildings across the street. very loud area. construction and garbage trucks up and down the road at 5 am . be prepared to be up early!!! no a/c in hotel..... also nobody at desk after 7 pm. wth?

Very clean and well maintained. Description of rooms is exaggerated. Supposed to have 22 inch flat screen TV but it was an old 19 inch at best. It is a good thing the room was so small or it would have been useless. Description also said the room would have patio or balcony but had neither. Very clean and nice place, they just need to be more honest […] about what they have. Also there is no river or pond on the property despite the picture used in the description. Les mer

We really enjoyed our breakfast. Everything was perfect. Hotel staff so kind and helpful.

This is a lovely European style hotel on a quiet street two blocks from Jackson town square. The rooms are small with very small TVs, but you're not supposed to be in your room if you're in Jackson and surrounding area anyway. Our only complaint, also voiced by others, is that it is difficult to find at night. It is right where Google Maps says it is, […] but there is only a small, unlighted sign, which we didn't see until daylight the next morning. The building looks like a large private residence. Also if you arrive after 8 pm and try to call the desk for directions you only get an answering machine. Everyone was very nice. We would go there again. Les mer

We enjoyed this place very much (food, location, people, bed comfort.) and will recommend to friends and relatives. Wireless internet service should be made more reliable.

Overall I had a good stay, the staff was friendly and helpful. Be warned though, the wireless internet is basically useless. Never got it to work properly.

This was by far the best place we stayed on our 23 day road-trip from Vancouver BC to Michigan and back. The woman who checked me in (I really should have asked her name) was excellent. She gave us a tour of the facilities and showed us to our room, and even remembered my name when we were finished. The room was beautiful, and even though we had only […] requested a Queen bed, she put us in a room with a king bed and an adorable upper loft. My boyfriend said that the bed was 2 twin beds pushed together, but they seemed to stay together pretty well and if he hadn't have pointed it out, I probably wouldn't have noticed. When he woke up earlier than me, he went downstairs and had coffee and read in the library. He said the coffee was the best he'd had the whole trip. The breakfast was phenomenal, a breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, sausage and black beans, as well as a wide variety of buffet items including meats, cheeses, freshly cut fruit salad and the most amazing miniature lemon scones that I've ever had. They were delicious. It is within walking distance to the cute little shops (which I assume was the main street of Jackson Hole) which is a plus because parking near the shops was difficult! Les mer

We were very happy and overall very comfortable for our 2 nights here. Our biggest challenge was the heat, so we left our window open which allowed for more street noise in the mornings. However, service was great, bed extremely comfortable and the breafast and location are fantastic for a trip to tetons or just to stay in Jackson.

So different (in good!) from what I expected! Rooms are quite small, but very cozy, like the rest of the place. Very relaxing and friendly ambient. I had no time to try the spa/sauna (too bad!), but the book corner makes the place look more like a shared house than a hotel. People are friendly, food (for what I've tried) is tasty and made of good products. […] I arrived to late to have a lunch prepared for the day after, but that's also a plus. Actually, the whole place reminded me of some bed & breakfast places I enjoy so much. Finally, the "green" label and products is a plus. Only negative point: don't try the "fake" fireplace in the room: quite unpleasant smell probably due to the painting arises after only 5 minutes, but takes much more time to leave! That aside, it's really a very nice place, and it was very hard to leave after only one night spent there. I'll definitely come back! Les mer

My husband and I made reservations online and was excited about our tirp to Jackson Hole, WY. When we checked into our room we were very disappointed. The room was small, had one chair, and no TV. When we are on vacation, we like to relax in the room (particularly at night). We didn't even have a place for both of us to sit down at the same time. One […] of us had to sit in the chair and the other lie on the bed. We stayed one night, found a new hotel and checked out. Les mer

Breakfasts' offerings were home made and quite good. Best coffee we had all week! Great friendly staff, nice comfortable room, Sorry we didn't stay longer. Would stay again !

This is an excellent hotel. The breakfast is made fresh every morning with organic foods. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in six hotels during this vacation, and the Alpine Inn in Jackson Hole was our favorite. The front desk agent not only checked me in without issue, but showed me around the facility and to my room. There's a gorgeous front patio and garden, a comfortable bar/lounge area with a computer for internet, a warm and cozy living room, lovely guest […] room and amenities, and delicious free breakfast in the morning (ham & cheese croissant was the best!). Jackson is small, but even so the hotel is conveniently only a few blocks from all the shops and restaurants. Definitely stay here when traveling to Jackson Hole. Les mer

Positives - nice brunch, clean, cosy, great music in lobby - 60s-70s, convenient to town. The workers were friendly but a bit too disinterested, ie felt intrusive asking questions. Also farily expensive for what it was yet market at high season. Bed not ideal as I got a back ache but spacious rooms.

We stumbled upon this property through Hotels.com and couldn't have been happier. The location is great. Quiet neighborhood but within a short walk of everything on the main drag and town square. Everyone at this B & B was very friendly and accommodating. A very laid back atmosphere. Not all the glitz of a chain hotel but a lot of charm. Would definitely […] stay here again and in fact we're trying to find an excuse for a return visit! Les mer
