The marriott is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants, etc. I was a little disappointed about the size of the fridge in the room. I bought 3 regular size bottles of water and they did not fit in the fridge. Buying food, drink, etc at the Marriott is extremely expensive. We had a very relaxing stay at the Marriott. Our Ocean View room was very comfortable, spacious and surprisingly quiet at night. Great to have 2 sinks in a vacation bathroom. The service and amenities were top notch. Doesn't hurt to have one of the island's best casinos in the hotel. Unfortunately, you can't get away from people getting up at dawn to […] save their poolside and beach spots with towels, but we were able to get good spots each day regardless. The only downside is that the hotel is the farthest north among the highrise hotels, but only a 10 minute walk or short cab ride to some shopping and restaurants. A complete, quiet and confortable place to stay in family, with several facilities and options for a funny vacations. The beach is so beatifult, I think it is the most beautiful in the island. Staff is so nice and helpul. Location also is good, near to shopping centers and downtown.

The hotel grounds are beautiful. The pools and beach are perfect. We stayed in the premium ocean view room and the view was amazing. The room service was amazing. We ordered a few things over our week stay and it was such a treat. The cafe in the lobby is quite a hot spot. AMAZING desserts and donuts and sushi. My only complaint about the room is the […] pillow are horrible. They are down and they get super flat in 2 seconds. Also, the sheets are like sleeping on notebook paper. I would think the Marriott could afford some nicer sheets! There are just a couple things I would note for people looking to stay here: 1. it is at the very far end of the beach. Every service, food, drink, snack in and surrounding the hotel is very pricey. If you want to find more reasonable prices you have to walk down the beach a ways. If you take a cab anywhere it's more pricey since you are at the very far end of everything. Next time we would probably stay more in the Hyatt area. It's more in the middle of everything. Les mer

My boyfriend and I spent six nights at the Marriott and had a wonderful stay. The amenities were wonderful and the staff was very friendly. As with most nicer resorts, the food was expensive, so we brought snacks and bought groceries for breakfasts and lunches and only went out to eat for dinner each night. If you're in the mood for a movie, a 3-D film […] at the nearby cinema was only $5.50 per person USD. The local shopping complex also seemed to have free entertainment in the center courtyard most nights. If you like iguanas, watch for the daily iguana feeding at the Marriott building next door where you can feed lettuce to them if you'd like - one of the highlights for the two of us who love animals! The room was clean. Hot water was abundant and the water pressure of the shower was good. The air conditioning was satisfactory although I'm not so sure that the room actually was 64 degrees as the thermostat stated. We were in a room that faced the construction(North) so the sun was not a factor with regard to heating the room. The in-room safe and […] mini-fridge functioned properly. The grounds are immaculate. The beach is large with many available recliners even for those not reserving the palapas. We had a great time spending Thanksgiving in Aruaba at the Marriott. The hotel and service was great, we have already booked another trip..A few hints. The junior suite is worth the extra money with the wrap around porch and ocean view. The tradewind package really isnt because everything else is so awesome. THe food and drinks are really pricey, mixed […] drinks 11.00 and sodas 4.00. So take a cab to superfoods and stock your room up. If you can pack a soft cooler than fill it when going to the beach or pool you will save alot. Getting the breakfast included is worth it (the buffet is 39.00 if you dont get it included). The good thing is breakfast is served until noon. She we ate at 11;00 and with the prime rib, ham, omlet station etc, we were full until dinner...well worth it. Local resturants for local food and good prices: Peanuts, and LeGranda..awesome. Also the cadamaran boat tours with snorkeling is awesome..open bar:)..Take a trip to baby beach...wonderful...Cab fares range from 22.00 from airport, 6.00-9.00 to local spots..take singles and fives....have fun!! The Marriott Stellaris was a wonderful resort. The resort was clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was pleasant. Once we mentioned that we were in Aruba for our anniversary, one of the staff had a bottle of champagne sent to our room on our special day! How nice was that! We would choose that resort again!

My wife and I stayed on the "Tradewinds" (club) floor. Our room was clean and bright but definitely not luxurious. Internet access was unreliable. Hotel, pools and beach were crowded Thanksgiving weekend, even at the "private" beach reserved for Tradewinds guests. Our third trip to Aruba, our second to this hotel. Honestly came back, not just because we like Aruba, but specifically because we LOVE this hotel. Their attention to detail is second to none. Have a wide variety of restaurant choices (wasn't thrilled with La Vista though), the room was immaculate, large, comfortable, great balcony. Great location, […] on the beach but close to shopping areas, other hotels/restaurants LOVE, LOVE the H2Oasis pool. Is for adults only. Is quiet and beautifully landscapped. Have cabanas for rent ($50 per day), staff provides water/fruit tray, takes food/drink orders. I believe they take food/drink orders from all guest at the pool, not just the cabana. We had a couple of minute issues (bath drain stopper didn't work, didn't get enough towels from housekeeping), the staff responded immediately. We were also called back for follow up to make sure issue was resolved. I can't say enough about the staff and the personalized attention. Lobby is beautiful. Has a few shops, a nice bar area, live music certain evenings and a great pastry/sandwich bar. Also has a family pool which is very nice. Great restaurant right on the beach "Simply Fish" nice way to enjoy a beautiful sunset and good food. Has game rooms for kids. Didn't use them, but seemed nice and kid friendly. We had a fantastic corner suite with a connecting room for our kids. Loved the wrap around balcony that allowed you to sit in shade or sun plus the view was great. You are close to the ocean and it is not noisy. The huts are a must for shade so I highly recommend reserving. You can reserve in the morning at no cost. The huts at the Marriott are closer […] to the water than what you will get at the Surf Club plus it is less busy. Our family really enjoyed tubing plus our afternoon on the Jolly Pirate. Jeep tour to the Natural Pool was also a highlight. Overall food was good quality but typical hotel prices. There are a number of other restaurant options close by. Generally everyone on the island are incredibly friendly. We'd go again and stay at the Marriott (not Surf club or Ocean club). I'd recommend the Surf club if you have small children. My wife and I selected this hotel to celebrate our anniversary. After completing the check in process I asked the front desk clerk where the elevator to the guest rooms were located. She replied that she did not know and had to ask someone. Once we made it to our "Premium Ocean View" room that was supposed to be a king bed we were highly disappointed […] to find out that there was no ocean view and that there were two queen beds in the room. I called down to the front desk and stated that I paid hundreds of dollars extra for the "Premium" ocean view over the "Partial". They gave me attitude and said that they would relocate me to another room after putting up a good fight. We moved to another room that at least had a king sized bed however the ocean view was still really no more than a partial view at best. The layout of the hotel really doesn't give you an ocean view unless you are in a suite on the end. Most of the view is looking at the pool or palm trees. So, save yourself some money and go for the partial view as all of the rooms have a balcony with fairly the same view. Les mer

We spent our honeymoon at this hotel and it exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, the staff was very professional, and the shops and restaurants located in the hotel were very convenient. Aruba, overall is very expensive however it was nice to know that we really didn't have to leave the hotel for anything.

It was not what the site puts out there. The staff is so slow to do everything and very disappointing. The pool was dirty most of the time, basically if you have kids don;t go to this hotel your better at going to the Hyatt and enjoy your vacation. i will never go back to this hotel, aruba yes.

The Marriott Stelaris is a very nice hotel. It is definitely in the top 2 hotels along the high rise area. I would reccomend this hotel to anybody. The staff is incredibly friendly and are always willing to help with whatever you need. This was our honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for a better trip.

Overall very nice. They need to improve the process of renting beach accessories such as chairs, umbrellas, etc. Also could use better bar service at the pool and beach.

Positive: Very clean and updated. Service and hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful. Restaurants were pretty good, NOT the sushi bar though. It was awful. Pool and beach were great. Negative: The furthest hotel on the High Rise side. Had to reserve a hut instead of first come first serve basis.

Clean hotel, great beach and location but the service drowned in that beautiful blue water. Everyone moves one mile per hour. Servers could not be found to deliver food or drink at the beach at pool for sometimes over 30 minutes at a time. This hotel is one of the best on the island. Updated, clean, and family friendly. Beware though, if you pick an adjacent construction view you will hear noise and your view is of a building, but you'll most likely not be in the room much. I plan on going back soon, and will stay at the Marriott again!

We were greeted with juice while we checked in. The concierge was very helpful & courteous & booked all the sight seeing tours including snorkeling, sailing, bus tours,etc. Downtown shopping is readily available by taxi or bus. The family pool is great or for a more relaxing time there is an adult pool that offers relaxing cabanas & service to your […] chair of food & beverages. There is great shopping at hotel including a small mall. Food can be purchased at reasonable prices at restaurants at the hotel. Anything from bakery, pizza, carribean food to formal dining in the Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Evening dining on beach is more expensive depending on your taste. The spa services were wonderful but some things were a little pricey for me. My Swedish massage cost $116. ( gratuity included) we liked the fact that you could walk our of hotel to pool and then right on the beach. Parasailing was right there & very reasonable. Our room was nice with 2 queen beds, a balcony with great view, & a spacious bathroom with walk-in closet which includes a safe for your valuables. The staff was very pleasant & helpful. Extremely clean hotel and room, very friendly staff, everything you expect from a Marriott. Helpful concierge. Location is great at the end of the strip on the beach. 2 pools, 1 is good for quiet and relaxing and the other more lively with a swim up bar so however you're feeling they have it covered.

Only two big issues. 1) Noise. A new hotel is being built on one side, so the beach is very noisy - not the peaceful oasis we had hoped for. We were also on the south side of the building which was on the same side as the next hotel's a/c unit so the balcony was also very noisy! No outdoor peaceful places to relax. :( 2) Concierge desk. On Fri afternoon, […] there was only one staff member at the desk - a time when several new guests had checked in and many people were trying to plan their next week. We stood in line behind one other guest, who frankly was being difficult, for almost an hour and almost missed our opportunity to go scuba diving which was really the only thing we wanted to do on our vacation. This was not the staff members fault - he was doing the best he could - this was a STAFFING issue and therefore, the manager's mistake. One other issue - it was too far away from all of the restaurants and shopping. We spent a fortune on cabs getting us to where we could entertain ourselves. Les mer
