Best Western Lakeview Inn - Garland

The stay at this motel was good. However, the breakfast was horrible. Breakfast could definitely use an improvement. The food was cold. Nobody wants cold biscuits and eggs.

This is our 3rd time to stay here. It is always clean, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast included cereal, milk, biscuits and gravy, waffles, sausage and eggs.

Highway noise, lots of mosquitoes, jacm holding up sink. Manager not so accommodating.

Beautiful views of Lake Ray Hubbard! Some fishing near by!

The hotel staff was very friendly and responded immediately to any questions. The room was clean and secure. The sink was held up with a jack, hopefully this will be repaired soon.

Our overnight stay at this motel was wonderful. The breakfast offering exceeded out expectations. We plan to make this motel a preferred stop on our future trips to Texas.

Had a family emergency and needed to find a hotel at the last minute. The receptionist was very kind and noticed that I was part of another group and was able to put our rooms beside each other. The receptionist also told us that if we needed anything at all that there were plenty of workers who lived on-sight that would be able to assist us. We stay at this hotel because of it's convenient location, ease of use for our dog, and very friendly staff. The lake view and park close by are added bonuses. We will stay here again.

We've stayed twice at this hotel. The first time, we didn't have our dog, but I was happy to learn that this hotel also accepts pets. It's a perfect stop for us if we take a long road trip to see my in-laws. A view of the lake is a stretch of the imagination! The hotel did not have good security as far as the windows being so easy to break into.

I was very impressed with the rooms the staff and the breakfast. My only suggestion would be have a vending machine or products available at the front desk for such things as Pepto Bismal, asprin, as the closest store is on the other side of the inter-state. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was super-glad to stay at this Best Western. The surrounding area is picturesque & it was a nice break during a long drive surrounded by 18-wheelers and concrete. The breakfast was lovely & included sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and a Texas shaped waffle. The location was perfect. It was a cinch to jump back onto the interstate & get, as Willie […] Nelson would say, "On the Road Again". Very friendly staff to send us off too. Les mer

Staff was VERY friendly and helfpul. When I told them I didn't need anything after they knocked on my door they offered to leave me anything I needed. Very nice.

The staff at this hotel, particularly Tony in the morning, is so wonderful. I am a single mom, who travels with a small child, and the stay was clean, quiet, and beautiful. Definately will stay again!!

Near lake and road (some noise, but a room was at back of hotel). Staff is friendly. Breakfast is typical American. Pool is clean (cleaned every other day). Location is between Rowlett and Garland, big outdoor equipment store and and lakesite restaurants (with waterfront dining) are nearby. Convenient location .

Manager was very rude double bed when asked for a king..copied my card (why?) The environment was more like a motel and I will NEVER go there again. Back to courtyard by marriot for me!!!

Best Western has the worst customer service of any hotel that I have ever been too. The clerk lied to use, was rude and refused to help us. Do not stay here. It is worth spending an extra $10 to $20 more per day than to put up with such nonsense. We were promised a non-smoking room due to my husband's health conditions. We were given a smoking room, […] which the clerk did not inform us of when we arrived. After we tried to change rooms, she refused, lied to us that the hotel was full, even though there were only 5 cars outside. The clerk was rude, had a terrible attitude and then we could only be refunded 10% when we wanted to switch hotels. We ended up going to another hotel and spending more than we had planned on. The hotel was located near a beautiful lake and there were several nice restaurants to choose from within a mile of the hotel. Access to the interstate was very easy. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the staff could not have been nicer. Overall, I'd say it was a great value for the money.

We will be sure to call and check on every thing before we get there.Really think the hotel should let customers know more info. especially a phone number which we could not find for the hotel.

This was a great room for the money. Nice pool and seemed quiet during my stay. My room was clean, but not fancy.

The motel is for outdoor friends and fisher, who don't mind that the wi fi is only working at the lobby and the bathroom sink is held by a car jack. Catch the mosquitos for fly-fishing just in front of your bedroom :-) The staff is friendly and there is also a free breakfast buffet.
