Rommet var svært greit, de gikk over to etasjer. I andre etasje var det et skrivebord, TV og en dobbeltseng mens det i første etasje var bad, skrivebord, TV, en dobbeltseng og et spisebord. Det var greit at rommet gikk over to etasjer, slik at vår datter hadde andre etasje og kona og jeg hadde første etasje. Frokosten var ikke inkludert i prisen, men […] vi valgte å spise frokost på hotellet. De hadde et godt utvalg og vi fikk spist oss skikkelig mette før vi dro ut på byen. Hotellet er vel ikke av de mest sentrale, men det var ikke mer enn 300 meter til Metroen så plassertingen var ikke noe problem. Les mer

Her har dere et bra Hotell med kort avstand til Metroen..5min gågang og da er du på Metroen..bruk linje 8 og du får se det meste av opplevelsene som er i Paris...Det er ca 15-20 min inn med Metroen men det gjør ingenting for da stopper du sentralt i Paris og det er veldig lett og finne frem der du skal stoppe og gå av..Hotelle har bar /resturant og […] Frokost..Frokost er ikke innkludert i pris men det er en butikk ikke så langt fra hotelle og fersk brød og loff på bakern..så da er du berga mye med det..så vi har bodd 8 dager der og skal tilbake på samme hotell for det var fin servic og veldig sentralt til masse ting så vi anbefaler dette hotelle 110 prosent... Godt og rimelig hotell, med hyggelig og flerspråklig betjening. Rene og romslige rom. Frokosten var dyr, men hadde godt utvalg. Gode matbutikker i nærheten så man kan heller kjøpe frokost der. Litt vanskelig å finne frem til, men veldig lett å finne tilbake til når du har snakket med betjeningen og funnet ut av metro :-)

For en familie på fire med bil i Paris, var dette hotellet midt i blinken. Parkering under hotellet til en rimelig penge. 4 manns rom ble oppgradert til to rom med dør i mellom. Hyggelig betjening, gode senger.

Vi reiser med tre barn i alderen 10, 12 og 16 år, og booket et dobbelt og et trippelrom. Trippelrommet var overraskende romslig. Hotellet ligger i nærheten av A2, dette var allikevel ikke generende pga tykke vinduer og aircondition på rommene. Hotellpersonalet var hyggelig og imøtekommende og frokostsalen var rikholdig. this hotel has a beautiful dining room. the suburb of le Saint Maurice, is a quiet residential suburb, with a choice of metro stations nearby.

Not bad overall. But massive language barrier. We had to overpay because of that at the end.

Instead of breaking my head inside Paris, a basic, clean room was perfect. Easy access with métro line 8 and a friendly staff.

Five of us stayed at this hotel for the Paris Half Marathon. Excellent rooms and meal in the evening. Very helpful staff.

Not bad hotel. Very good location as it is very near subway station (about 2 miles). They charge separately for garage (6 eur) and breakfast (11 eur). Officially there is no free-of-charge wirless connection in the room but you can connect to the network if you try to get the signal. This Best Western is a solid 3 star hotel. full bath with tub, very hot water, and ok bed. The location is somewhat far from the main tourist sights, but 10 minutes walk from the subway station (on line 8). Lots of restaurants and shops (including 2 supermarkets and MacDonalds between the hotel and metro stations) This was a low budget trip for me […] and this hotel was significantly better priced than other 3* hotels near the Paris center. Here are the walking directions: From: Metro Charenton Ecoles (line 8) exit, walk toward McDonalds and keep going straight down the "rue de paris", pass the town hall (Hotel de Ville), down a hill on a narrow cobbled stone street, cross the intersection and look for the blue Best Western sign on the right. Slightly closer, Ecole Veterinaire (line 8) turn right at exit of station, walk toward the river Marne, cross the bridge, turn right at the traffic light, hotel is 100 metres further down on your right. You can actually see the hotel and restaurant from the bridge, but I'm not sure you can get into the hotel from that main road, so take the next right on the narrow street instead. bus #24 takes you between Ecole Veterinaire station to the Louve and other downtown sights, but is a longer and more scenic ride. The pictures showing the Hotel on the internet don¨t show the real conditions. The Hotel is old. The food in the restaurant is bad. Many of the eggs was broken in the glass bowl. Not enough uoghurt. Corn flakes and other food keept in a glas bowl which was had to get anything out of. More bad things could be mentioned about the breakfast. About the […] room: to make the heater works (its very cold in January in Paris) the temperature hat to be put above 25 celsius otherwise only air (mostly cold) was the return from the heater. When the heater starts to work it was being close to a motorcycle that much noise from the heater. The desk for coffee/tee was very small. Could hardly sit down. The toilet was so close to the wall that it was not possible to sit down without toughting the wall at the same time. Since I have a normal hight at around 6 feet my legs was toughing the wall in front of me. The mean that i had to sit on the toilet sidewards. The place to hang clothes was in a very bad condition It definetily needs some nails otherwise it will fall appart. The souvenir shops was to expensive. The eiffeltower cost 5 euro a piece. If we had bought the same size of eiffeltower in the city we could have got the sames eiffeltower for 20 cents. Or 5 pieces for 1 euro. We compared the other prices of souvenir and the price was around 10 times the price in nearby shops. The rating of 3,9 is well above that I think it should be and the hotel should be happy that I didnt rate it to Zero. If was fare behind expectation. Les mer

Great Hotel for the price. Rooms were large spacious and clean and staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English. Has a nice dining area for meals in the lobby. Only down side is that its about 20-30 minutes from Central Paris including about a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station. There are alot of decent cafes and resturants which make up for […] the distance. So all in all nice hotel, good price, about 25 minutes outside of Paris but in a nice neighboorhood. Les mer

If you do arrive by car and want to use the hotel's parking garage (which you pretty much have to, with little alternatives available), prepare to face possibly your biggest test since passing your license, driving the car in and back out again...an absolute nightmare, in 3 days we witnessed 2 other customers scratch/damage their cars, and were lucky […] to escape with our hired vehicle unharmed ourselves. Very irresponsible and dangerous...and you have to pay for it as well. Otherwise, the hotel is alright, although the internet connection was playing up a bit on the first day. The room itself we have no complaints about, and the buffet breakfast is decent as well. The metro stop is a 7-10 minute walk away, and you get to central Paris in about half an hour. There are also restaurants and shops nearby. Mixed feelings overall, but for the price on offer, one would be quite lucky to find something much better in Paris, I suppose. Les mer

I was with my friend on short break in Paris 14-18oct.Hotel very good, 10 min walk to near metro station Ecole Veterinaire de Maison Alfort, and in about 20 min you are in the center. Rooms are not very big, but not bad, we just slept there.Clean hotel, staff very fiendly , professional and always gave us all information!! My wife and I stayed at this hotel and we're surprised with the quality for the money and the good size of the room. I've stayed at other hotels near attractions, paying as twice as much, but those hotels were old, and small rooms. It looks like this hotel caters business in the area, and have a good restaurant and bar. I wasn't expecting too much from this hotel but when I got in my room it was pleasantly clean with all the basic amenities you'll need. Kettle for hot water, clean bathroom with a shower. The only downside is that it is a little far from the metro (15 minute walk).

A nice hotel in a nice quiet neighborhood. Metro station was about an 18 minute walk. Would want to stay closer to the center of Paris on the next trip, but this costs more.

The hotel is ok for the price. Maybe 10-15 min walk to nearest metro. A big 'YEAH" for AC. My room had a mildew smell which I realize the AC was leaking water on the carpet. The Best Western in Saint Maurice ended up being pretty much exactly what my wife and I were looking for. We didn't want to drop a full pocketbook on hotel rooms, since the reason for our stay was the actual city, not a romantic hotel room. Overall, it was very clean, the desk stuff was multi-lingual, and it was only about a 10 minute walk to the subway […] metro into the city. Because of the extremely high rates of hotels in the center of Paris and the fact that not all Parisian hotels have private bathrooms, I found this Best Western to fit our needs quite well. Would recommend to anyone interested in a nice quality room as a place to sleep while visiting the city. Parking garage on-site is also very convenient, but if you drive a big vehicle, be cautious - as you'll notice in other reviews, the garage door is a tight fit. Had no problems driving a VW Polo, but I would imagine larger vehicles would need to be extra careful. Overall, the hotel was exactly what I was looking for. Les mer

good location, plenty of room for 4 in room but next to lift and very noisy when lift in use and heater in room turned off due to loud noise at all times.

The hotel is only 5 minutes or so to the metro. The area is very nice, clean and quite. It is about 20minutes (with the metro) outside of Paris. The people working there are very,very helpful and friendly. There is a Monoprix store right at the metro, so if you wanted to pick up some fresh food (fruit, veggies, bagette, cheese, h2o, etc..) on the way […] in to town, they are great. We had an "apartment" room for 4 adults which consisted of two twin beds on the 1st floor and one double bed on the 2nd floor, which you would get to by sprial steps! :-)The room and hotel is very clean and has your basic amenities - nothing fancy. There are some really nice, quaint shops and sandwich places to visit near the hotel. We loved staying there, and seeing that is was our first time in Paris, it was perfect. Les mer

The room was so SMALL, thank God we did not have any suitcases. It was VERY FAR TO GET THERE FROM THE AIRPORT. Did not like the neighborhood.

The staff and hotel are great. The only problem is the location to the main city center. We planned a very quick trip to Paris so it would have been better a bit closer. Also, the walk to the metro a bit long for older people. But the price is good, the staff were very nice. So if your stay is a bit longer, this may be the place.

This is good hotel to stay for the short period.

I thought that this Hotel had some very good employees that we very curtious and helpful. There were people behind the front desk that spoke at least three or more languages. The Hotel room and facilities were OK. I thought that this hotel was an overall good value.

I was there for a night and I found one of the best hotel in paris with low cost. Free speed internet makes you more easier to live.

Good hotel worth the money booked through hotels.com and only thing is its about one and half hour by train to CDG.

This hotel is a cheaper range hotel to stay to visit Paris. The metro is about 10 min walk but check directions. Local resturants are OK and cheaper than hotel. Hotel is noisy as it located near major road. The surroundings are not beautiful but based against the cost it is OK. The hotel is a little run down once past the foyer but workable. Bar is […] expensive and very quiet. English language newspaper was a bonus when drinking in bar. Note: Rooms do not have opening windows or fridges ( a real pain ). rooms are not very large but OK for a short city visit. Tea and coffee facilites are OK . You can hear what other guests are "doing" / talking beacause of poor noise insulation between rooms . Major issue is the parking entrance - this is vey narrow and needs a confident driver. ( FOLD THE WING MIRRORS ) I had an Astra sports tourer which just fits into the entrance. Once inside underground carpark , the spaces are a fair size for a hotel carpark . This hotel really surpassed my expectations: Clean, nice, and with all the amenities you expect at more expensive hotels. Great area to meet locals and eat what locals eat. Paris is easily accessible via # 24 bus. The bus stop is about two blocks away from the hotel but the (scenic) ride might take about 45 minutes. I booked this hotel because of its attractive price and apparent proximitiy to the metro. In reality, it is a 10-15 minute walk - not bad once you are familiar with it, but confusing initially and difficult with luggage in tow. The metro stop is Charenton- Ecoles and it is probably a good 30 minute ride into the main area of the city. The area surrounding […] the hotel is not great, but there are a few restaurants and places to get food. The locals in this area speak little English if any, so make sure you are very aware of how to get to the hotel before you get there, do not rely on directions from people in the area. Even saying "Best Western" just somehow does not translate. The hotel itself is very average. We did not use the restaurant so I cannot comment. The rooms are small in typical European fashion. We reserved a King room, in reality this is just 2 double beds, ours weren't even pushed together and did not have the same bedding, so I'm not sure how they can call it a King room, but whatever. My main complaint about the room is the thin walls. At one point we were lying on the bed about to go to sleep, when we heard a trickle of liquid. I thought, maybe it is the plumbing, but then I heard a flush. Yes, it was our neighbor using the bathroom. The walls are literally so thin that we could hear everything happening in the bathroom. The beds are also very squeaky, so use your imagination there. Of course, this is Paris, so you probably won't be spending much time in the hotel, so these may be things that can be overlooked. The staff at the hotel speaks enough English to make things confusing at best. I imagine hotels closer to tourist attractions would have staff that speak more English, which can be helpful. Another thing that bothered me was that this hotel has a business center. I used it twice, and even made a point to ask the manager if it was FREE to use. I was told yes, it is free. the hotel was ideal for our purpose good value for money it is a little bit out for main atractions but the metro is 5 minutes away run regular and cheep didnt eat in hotel but food looked good and reasonable price it suited all we wanted there is a couple of nice pattisserie near by afew resturants and bars we will be back jackie and roy selby

We had a non smoking room but all others but 2 were smoking on the floor so smell permeated. Windows did not open and room felt airless. Hotel staff at desk and in dining room were discourteous after our check in. The taxi driver the hotel called for us at check out was superb. He was friendly, a good driver and gave us a fair fare.

I was looking for a budget hotel that was not tiny and bare-bones as they tend to be. The room and bathroom were spacious enough for me-just like an American budget hotel. The bathroom was clean. The blankets underneath the comforters had hairs on them, which bothered me. The pillows and headboards were not great for sitting up in bed reading. The staff was most helpful, especially when we encountered a problem with one of the rooms. They worked with us and compensated us for the inconvience. The only drawback is that the location is rather far removed from any of the tourist sites, and the metro going to that location was closed for repairs, which of course, is not the fault of the hotel. […] Overall, I believe that the security of the area and the pricing of the rooms was well worth the travel inconvenience. The only real drawback was the location--it was a long way from the tourist sights. In addition, the metro was being repaired, so we had to walk quite a distance--no fault of the hotel. Metro connections were easy, so if one is not rushed for time, there is no problem. We felt that the savings were worth the time spent.

This hotel was absolutely great in terms of service, and the quality of the room, especially for the price. We stayed in one of the duplexes and everything was very well provided for and comfortable. We did not bother with the 11 euro breakfast as there is a bakery exactly one block away and a long row of restaurants as well as grocery stores to buy […] food. Very close to the metro line 8-Charenton Ecoles (no more than a 5-7min walk even at a leisurely pace). The only downside to this was that the 8 happens to be one of the slowest metro lines in Paris and it takes about 45minutes to get into the city. I am used to subways and long commutes and no matter how you map it out, you will be taking at least 2-3 trains to get to any of Paris' main attractions. So if you don't mind the commute, by all means it was a great place to stay. Personally, next time I go to Paris I would like to be slightly closer to the center, but if you are on a budget and want HUGE bang for your buck in a very nice, safe residential community, then this hotel is perfect!
