Et flott opphold på Sheraton. Vi bodde her bevisst for å være nære Universal studios. Tar fem/ti minutter å gå til parken, men shuttlebusser går hvert 15 minutt fra hotellet. Starbuckskaffe på rommet slo virkelig ann. Svært svært god service:)

Store rom med sittegruppe og kjøkkenbenk, aircondition. Rent og pent, stor seng, satellitt-TV. Ikke spesielt støyutsatt, så det gikk bra å sove selv om flyplassen ligger et par km unna. Fikk ikke WiFi til å fungere på min laptop, men fikk tilbud om å låne kabel. God service. Minus at det ikke går shuttle-buss til/fra LAX. Taxi koster $20 fra LAX, men fra hotellet til flyplassen er det $4 mindre.

Det er et Hilton hotel og det var flott på alle mulige måter. Det eneste som var rart-som ikke har noe med hotellet å gjøre er at Calabasas er en av tre byer i hele USA hvor det ikke er lov å røyke offentlig. Alle røykerom alltid opptatt. Her er det lov å røyke.

Ble stuet inn på et gammel, men forholdsvis stort rom i nederste etasje. God beliggenhet for besøk til Universal. Hotellet har en hemningsløse buffetter som anbefales på det varmeste!

Santa Clarita er en del av San Fernando Valley, omtrent 30 minutter nord for Los Angeles sentrum. Hovedattraksjonen her er Six Flags Magic Mountain, en 93 hektar stor fornøyelsespark med 15 berg-og-dal-baner. Områdets andre hovedattraksjon er California Institute for the Arts, et velrenommert privat college for utøvende og visuell kunst. Castaic Lake ligger like ved, og er populær til båtturer, fisking og bading.

This was a great hotel. Even the breakfast was at the top of the hotel "free hot breakfast" list.
Stay was nice and relaxing. Just that we were on the first floor and you could see threw the curtains, so we had to put a blanket to cover the window.

I stay at this hotel quite often and I am always satisfied. However, I want to say that it is now time for them to upgrade their cable and television set up. HD cable with modern flat screen tv's are in order. This is 2012, not 2004. Other than that, I like this hotel and will stay there again.

Nice clean rooms, busy but decent breakfast. Perfect when you want an inexpensive but nice room near Six Flags.

Used Santa clarita holiday inn as overnight stay while on the way to Santa Barbara. Arrived around 4 ish. There was spool which was heated but it was in the shade when we arrived so thought it a little too cold. There was also a gym and on site laundry facilities which we made use of after the maintenance guy managed to get the machine working. Room […] ok with microwave,tv and fridge. Also heating / air on. Breakfast in the morning was complimentary, but I did nt think it was very good. However there was cereals, omelettes with some gooey orange stuff in the middle, bacon rashers which were way over cooked and greasy, pancakes, fruit etc. all you could need . It was very busy as many people were heading to magic mountain and all seemed to be getting breakfast at the same time. Les mer
"Perfect for your magic mountain trip"
I stayed at this hotel for two nights during our trip to magic mountain. The room was very clean and the staff was quite friendly. I had an issue with the wi-fi in our room so the front desk gave me a number to call and it was taken care of within the hour. The only complaint I have is the free breakfast.... which is one of the main reasons I chose […] this hotel. The hot food was either cold or all out, the cereal was smashed up after twisting the knob to get it out, and even MY kids didn't like the cinnamon rolls.... and that says a lot. And it was crowded. But other than that, our stay was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel for everyone.... you should probably just skip the breakfast. There's a Dennys next door Les mer

"Great Hotel"
The only bad thing about this hotel is the internet! But I did not go on vacation to sit on my computer so no big! But it would be great if they speed it up a bit so that downloading pictures won't take half a day.

Very nice and hospitable staff. Front desk staff is very nice for immediate needs and backroom management is very aware and attentive of any issue that arises and they supervise very well. I stayed there for three nights and all staff from all levels were great. Breakfast is redundant every other day but certainly acceptable.

I had no idea what I would be checking into--and I was delighted! Leo, at the front desk, was helpful, patient and charming. My room was upgraded to a suite and was very, very nice. Holiday Inn Express was clean, very comfortable, and quiet. I am fairly picky, and we have not had good luck with "inexpensive" motels in the past, but this one was excellent. In the morning we had a terrific breakfast that had pancakes, muffins, yogurt, cereal, juice eggs, biscuits/gravy, available, and it all tasted very good! "Near Magic Mountain"
The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the price was fair. The breakfast was good. I definitely would return again.
Overall the hotel was great. The breakfast was very good. The only complaint that I would have is that the walls are pretty thin. The first night we stayed there we could hear the guy next door to us snoring loudly the whole night. It made it tough to sleep.

This was the only holiday Inn we have been in the US, but it was much better than the UK version. Basically, we found it better than what we had expected.

The hotel is nice and clean. We had a mix up but between holiday inn and hotels.com they were quick to resolve the situation. By the way, the suite is all one room. It's a bigger room with a pull out couch. In the photos it looks seperate but its a big long room.

Took our daughter to Magic Mountain for xmas break. Staff was excellant as well as the room very clean and king size bed very nice! Food was OK. We did not stay because of the breakfast. We were knocking on Magic Mountains door within a few minutes.

"PERFECT! - Close to Magic Mountain!"
Was a bit nervous about deciding where to stay but boy, am I glad I chose this hotel! We were celebrating my daughter's 13th birthday and arrived early hoping to check-in. The two African-American ladies at the front counter were simply amazing! They enrolled me in the "Priority Perks" program and we were checked in by 9:30am! The room was spacious […] and perfect for 4 teen girls and myself. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. Quiet at night and the free breakfast was exactly what we needed in the morning. "Beware of Strange Hairs in Your Bed!"
This was not a pleasant experience. When I checked in I had requested a wake up call at 6AM. I made sure that was mentioned more than once and the hotel manager is suppose to review the tapes to see if what I said was said. I don't know if he really cares. The next morning my friend who had helped me drive down asked me to look at the sheets on his […] bed. He noticed 3 or more long black hairs that we are believing was from a woman who slept in that bed the night before. We called the manager to the room to observe. He seen them and went back to look at the log for night before and we were told Yes it was occupied. I guess he called housekeeping and the next thing was there was 3 knocks on the door and then the door opened. They seen that someone was still in the room and closed the door. Not a good way to conduct business. The manager did make notes on the computer. Will not stay there again and I plan on contacting Corporate. Les mer

"Great Hotel !!"
Everything about this Hotel is great !! Wonderful rooms, nice size, all enclosed inside. Great breakfast bar in morning and work out room. Rooms and Hotel were very clean, staff was wonderful. Very easy access to Magic Mountain and Hwy 5. Warm cookies at 6 PM. Pool and Jaccuzzi nice and clean also. We would stay there again absolutely !!

Booked this for a trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain when the Hilton Garden Inn was booked. The room was a bit small, but bed was VERY comfortable and room was very clean. The one thing the Hilton has over this is a little convenience shop-- at the Hilton, you can purchase items you may need or have forgotten (I needed bandaids), or small meals you could […] make in your room (mac and cheese, etc.). My only other complaint was that I had a downstairs room and I could definitely hear the people above me stomping around one night. All in all, though, the staff was great, rooms were clean, it's a convenient location to the park, and had a super comfortable bed. What else do you need? Les mer

Excellent, excellent service. Doug, who is the manager at the Valencia, CA. location took great care of us. His staff is amazing and he made us feel so welcome. We just moved back from Sacramento and had some trouble with the townhouse we were moving into. Doug was very understanding of how exhaused we were and did everything he could to make our stay […] great......and HE SURE DID!!
