Hotellet ligger i et område som blir helrenovert. Derav antar jeg at det blir revet om noen år. Det går en firefeltsvei rett utenfor, med mye tungtransport om natten. Mye støy og et tildels meget tvilsomt strøk gjør at her bør man styre unna.

My girlfriend and I decided to give this hotel another chance after we believed our 1st stay there last year was just a stroke of bad luck. We received a non-smoking room, as we did last year, and walked into a room that reeked of cigarette smoke. The desk clerk offered us a small amount of fabreze but that didn't help at all. The rest of the room […] was clean and the parking was very close. When we checked out and informed the desk clerk of the problem, she apologized and confirmed that it was listed as a non-smoking room. Room 11. We like the hotel location and everything else about the hotel, but since my girlfriend has asthma and we both hate the smell of cigarettes, we would hate to have to stay anywhere else. Didn't expect the rooms to be nice and well put together. Clean, spacious, comfort for a cheap price... Granted that the location is not the most ideal near a main street and freeway, but they do have plenty of parking. A few things that made it a bit rough...need to add a bit more lights in the back and walk ways. Need to add double pane windows to […] decrease noise level. Other than that, no other complaints. Around the time that I stayed there it was early December. Aside from other Inability of plans that I had made I was left homeless. They were able to work with me and lower my deposit and arranged to book my first night of being homeless without a credit card. They saw and acknowledged that I was having a terrible day/evening. Hotel overall was better than all of the rest in SOMA at this price point. They did have construction going on and the workers scratched my rental car. The hotel said that they were not responsible for damage of parked cars. I had full coverage on the car so I didnt pursue. This motel was a good value. Convenient location, fair price, and updated, clean room. The front desk person was efficient. It listed a continental breakfast though I'm not sure if they actually had a continental breakfast...I only saw the complimentary coffee. That was the only negative aspect.

The neighbourhood was shady at later hours but over all it was ok, the hotel was undergoing remodeling but still everything was clean, the staff was very polite. The room was ok. Over all the hotel was more than what I was expecting for the price we paid. Just be careful if you decide to wander around late at night, you may just want to take a taxi […] back to avoid ugly surprises. Les mer

Best experience in San Francisco ever!! Love the continental breakfast. All in all a pleasant stay.

we came a little bit earlier.but the management was so friendly by letting us check in earlier without any extra charges. has wifi and i like the waffle a lot(breakfast meal)!

I had a pretty good stay at this hotel. Sure, it's not as nice as an expensive hotel, but considering the price I paid and the comfort I received, I think this place is great. The surrounding area is a bit ghetto and smells like pee, but what part of SF doesn't hahaha. Anyhow, this place is close to everything you need, plus free parking, plus free […] internet. It's a GREAT deal. The staff was nice as well, but they do get busy with those tourists who asks them EVERYTHING and ends up making everyone wait, but that's not their fault. Les mer

Unfortunately, there was some contraction in front of the room we were in. Without that, it must have been more comfortable to stay this motel. The food I ordered from the room because I found a menu that was handled by different company was awful and expensive.

I always booked this hotel with the superior queen, which comes with living room couch but when u check inn they still ask for extra $15 if I wanted the living room couch, If not u only get a small room with no couch not true as advertised...

Positive: Hotel is partially renewed, Room is good, Bed is comfortable, TV was full channeled, AC was new, quiet and very efficiency, Water was hot. Less good: Hotel is on a main street, noisy from 6 am to 11 pm. Neighborhood is poor and a lot of Homeless are walking/sleeping around... Great for a low budget Hotel.

It's a fine hotel, free parking, a decent breakfast station. In between a couple of clubs, so I wouldn't wander to far off in the middle of the night. For needing an inexpensive place to stay.. Yes, it is just two blocks from the freeway exit on nineth st from the bay bridge or coming from the opposite direction. The Inn doesn't look great because of the construction. It doesn't seem to be the best neighborhood but the room was very clean, and comfortable . The price was not bad. I believe I got one of the renovated rooms. I wanted thrilled with this hotel but I also wasn't disappointed. For the amount we paid I had hoped for a little more. The beds were comfortable but the bed skirts were filthy, covered in white powder. The furniture looked abused and the heater was broken. Free parking was great though. I am also a person who is picky about sound and it was nearly […] impossible to sleep in the morning. Even though we were in the back of the hotel the street noise was incredibly loud and you can hear people walking by outside like they're in your room. Les mer

This hotel is close to subway. The neighborhood is a industrial area. However, don't stay in this hotel if you want a safe hotel. The surrounding is full of homeless people, specially during weekend. The hotel stuff won't do anything if there is any problem. One night, the people next to my room got into a fight and waken me up. The fight continued […] for almost 15min. I am almost called 911. Finally one of the guys jump on a truck and drive away. The hotel stuff didn't respond to this. Other than that, this hotel provide good breakfast and convienent location. The hotel is still in renovation so it was a bit noisy but it is really close to the 101 freeway exit coming from the south .which makes it a great choice when you've already been stuck in San Francisco traffic and don't want to get lost in town. I had read that it was close to Castro , well it is , if you know to catch Bart . The hotel is overall a […] good deal for the money , pretty safe area , well located . We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and it was great. The room was very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was better then mostly motel. 15minutes walk to union square. We would definitly stay here agian.

As a regular guest, staying in hotels frequently, the CIVIC CENTER INN is by far the best deal, well maintained, great crew and quiet for those who want privacy.

Price was excellent for being a hotel/motel in San Francisco. We got lucky by getting a room that had just been remodeled! However the hotel had a lot of construction going on giving it a not so appealing vibe. Staff was short handed and not so friendly. The hotel is located off ninth street in an area that was a little scary. There was a lot of homeless […] people around the hotel which caused us to have to take taxis most of the time. But for the price the rooms were pretty nice. Only stay here if you are young, or on a budget! Les mer

This motor inn is conveniently near all the action in San Francisco. It is quite comfortable and clean; especially in light of some of the surroundings. Parking is a bit tight, but it is to be expected in the inner city locale.

my stay at this hotel was very good.

I stayed here a week, parking was only difficult on Friday night after 10pm, the rest of the time was very easy to find a spot. They're doing construction, so some noise and dust during the day but didn't really bother me at all. Neighborhood is OK, felt safe during the day/evening but like much of SF, wouldn't wander around in the middle of the night. […] Room was clean & comfortable, had a wall mounted lcd and microwave/refrigerator. My chief complaint is they accidentally charged my card than $500 despite my stay being prepaid through hotels.com. I had to call them to get the charge reversed, they acknowledged it was a mistake immediately. Les mer

So far this is the best place to stay in the city. Nice area, convienent locations to go anywhere like shopping, etc. rooms are very cleanand lots of privacy. Has strong wifi signal, One thing is the cleaning ladies are hard to communicate because of language barrier and not quite friendly either they are shy or affraid even to acknoweldge ur stay in […] the motel. I was glad to see that there was a coffee pot and a little refrigerator in the room. When I went out to dinner I was able to take back some left-overs to heat in the room. The wifi was easy to access and very fast. The room was very spacious and most importantly it was very clean. I will definitely stay here again.

We were pleased to the motel, the location is good, you can walk to downtown or to the bus stop. Price was good concidering that you can park your car for free. Nice stay.

The room was pricey, but it was clean and smoke free. The location was very convenient for our SF activities. It was nice to have secure parking as well.

When I 1st seen the hotel it didn't look like the picture on line..they need to paint there building..didn't like that check in is at 3pm.my room was very clean and I love the bath room it was very nice and clean..the sheets were clean..over all I was happy and felt it was worth my money BUT I was very upset the next morning to wake up to throw up allllll […] over my BMW! There were lots of cars in the parking lot and my car was the only one with throw up.. I went to check out and told the own and all he said was sorry there's nothing I can to! Its smacked right on the hot spot of castro. If you dont mind staying close by then great. Ongoing traffic of castro folks. Which was amusing itself. But if your not into that then I don't know.

Sbout a block from this hotel in any direction are gay bars, lots of gay bars. If you head north you encounter the gay community that walks around wearing all leather S&M type outfits. I saw a high number of law enforcement personnel, however I suspect that the ones wearing tight fitting all leather outfits might not have been real cops. I also observed […] men in nothing more than leather studded jock straps fondling each others nipples on the street. If this isn't the type of culture you want to expose your children to I would suggest finding another location. Parking is limited. Most of the spots required you to back in. The rooms looked like they were updated about 30 years ago. The television had channel bleed over on most of the channels. The water pressure was amazing, and you even hear a loud pipe banging sound to warn you step out of the stream before dramatic temperature shifts caused by your fellow lodgers. We had no idea where this place was. All we knew was it was the cheapest. When we arrived we discovered that it was within walking distance of all sorts of great things. I had a problem with my "hotels.com" booking and two staff spent ages on the phone for me, sorting it out. They were still working on things like the swimming pool and some outstanding […] external works, but I have to say once that is done they're going to have a great venue.
