Best Western Plus Inn & Suites Rutland/Killington - Rutland

I loved this place and would stay there again. It was a bit out of the city center, but not enough to cause a problem. The only thing- there was a bit of hair in the shower- gross. Normally this would be enough to keep me from returning, but the rest of the place made up for it. Loved the suite- it had a full kitchen!

It was great. We have stayed there many times and it has always been great. The room above us was very loud. I told the manager and she took care of the problem and told me if continue, let her and she would call the police.

Although my reservation was cancelled in error which I didn't know until we arrived, the staff was very friendly and remedied the situation immediately. We had to have maintenance come to our room and the response time was amazing. Immediate actually. The room was very clean and the price was great. Definately will stay again if in the area.

I most likely will seek another stay through hotel.com just for a best western room, this was the best by far stay in a hotel that i have ever had and i have stayed in many different location...

I was pleasently surprised and will stay again if in the area. Far enough away from downtown Rutland but close enough to get there in a short time. Other than the room not having a lot of open floor space it served the purpose for what we needed. It was clean, quiet, breakfast was good, front desk personnel very enjoyable. Beds were so comfortable, think it had a pillow top. Pillows were nice and fluffy. The bathroom had nice fixtures and decor. Very roomy bathroom. Room itself was small, but the comfortable beds made up for it.

We stay at the Best Western for a ski weekend at Killington. The suites are roomy and comfortable. I like to have a kitchen area and a living space to spread out and relax. You can get breakfast in the lobby area but we bring our own and warm it up in the oven. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.

I've stayed in other Best Western Plus (NYC) and this one was very motel by the side of the road - nothing special. When we arrived they were short handed and the one poor receptionist had to deal with booking problems and three parties stacked up - by herself. Poor lady. The breakfast was ok, but mostly problematic by all the crazy amount of teenagers […] staying there. The NYC on in South Street Seaport is hidden and out of the way, where more mature guests were. Oh well, it was on the inexpensive side so what do you expect. It was fine to lay your head for a night or two. Les mer

We stopped here for just one night. it is very conveniently located close to Killington Ski Resort and, as such, it isn't near many other amenities. It just sits out there on the highway. However it was very pleasant, clean, comfortable, and quiet. And the breakfast was decent, particularly for the price.

Very comfortable, big rooms, good service, clean and ready to go ! Close to the ski hill and close to town. I will definitely go back and stay at this hotel. The staff is great although the person in the breakfast lounge could be a lil more friendlier (especially in the morning ...) Highly recommended. P.

What a great place! We stayed for a long weekend over New Years and had a very resonable price on an awesome suite. Bed were comfortable, room was clean, all appliances fully functional, lots of closet space for our clothes and gear. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They truly care about their guests and want them to return. Although […] at times it took a while to refill hot items (not so bad considering it was a holiday weekend and extremely crowded), overall the continental breakfast is excellent and absolutely delicious-good, strong coffee everywhere!. I highly recommend getting a suite if you decide to go here, the value for the price is beyond worth it. I am very grateful to the staff for helping make our holiday weekend so wonderful and will definitely return to this hotel, hopefully soon! Les mer

We had never stayed in this Best Western before, and found it to be a pleasant experience. The room was up to date, and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and informative with any questions that we had. The breakfast offered was much more than expected. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a great stay but I think the hotel room is in need of an update (especially the floral wallpaper). Was convenient to everything. The walls are pretty thin so pray you don't get a loud bunch who like to stay up late like we did our last night. Loved the space in the suite! Perfect for what we were looking for! We enjoyed the breakfast.

Friendly people, great value for your money, very quiet!

I had a girls weekend with my mother and sister, so we were looking for a little more room than a regular hotel room. We rented the suite, which was really a 1 bedroom apartment. It was very clean with a full kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable, even the pull out sofa that my sister slept on. Room decor was pretty outdated and my room had a musty smell. Other than that, it was clean and breakfast was very nice.

The staff is very accommodating and the hotel is very clean but the rooms are way too small.

Great upscale accommidations at a reasonable price. Condo type setting is very comfortable and relaxing as a regular business traveler.

The rooms were a little on the small side and the electricity didn't work in all of the outlets. Overall, this was a pretty decent hotel and I will definitely stay here again.

The Best Western was quaint. Mountain view but not from our room. The beds were quite soft and we prefer very firm which have experienced in the past from the B.W. Overall satisfied

The room we had with 2 full-size beds was really crowded. You hardly had space to walk around the beds.

We were really only planning on staying at Best Western in Rutland for a comfortable, clean place to sleep. The hotel really wasn't anything special. When we opened up our room with the key, the smell of barbecue wafted out the door. Not sure if we were smelling the neighbor's dinner or what, but that smell lingered all night! The room below us had […] an exhaust fan running. I looked out the window to see if there was an 18 wheeler with it's engine on because that is what it sounded like. Unfortunately, we realized we left behind my husband's shaving kit. We called three times and ended up coming back to the hotel to get it. There system for left behind items was terrible because no one could find our stuff. Finally, after my husband looked in the dumpster, someone came out of a room with a plastic bag and in it was the shaving kit. It wasn't really their fault that we were forgetful, but there system and front desk help wasn't too helpful. Les mer

Pretty mediocre in every respect. Not even the free breakfast was a "plus". The major considerations for our stay was price and proximity to family that lives nearby. Next time I will pay more elsewhere.

Very nice sized room. I was vacationing with 3 young teenagers and found there was plenty to keep them busy at day's end -- swiming pool, game room and in room gaming pay-to-play system. A great continental breakfast. The make you own waffles were a big hit with everyone! Hot sausage and eggs were a treat too. We were also pleasantly surprised by the […] complimentary BBQ. Everyone slept great. Clean, comfortable beds and very quiet. I would definately recommend staying here. Les mer

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed and the staff was most helpful. Loved the green surroundings.

The room and bathroom had a bad odor. We should have asked for a different room. The young lady at the front desk (Sunday) early evening, was not familiar with exact directions to places on the property and to a dining destination. The Monday staff was efficient.

Fantastic setting in amazing countryside, great value for money, great quality my only regret is that we didn`t stay more than one night. Be sure to visit Woodstock and Quassie gorge (spelling?) buy some local cheese by the gorge.
