Other than a few minor cleaning issues it was a decent hotel. The staff could not have been any friendly-er and all in all they were very accommodating to our requests. We didn't know the area when we picked it, and while I had no problems with the area, my family felt a little nervous but by the end of our stay, they felt at home. Staff was very friendly & the rooms were clean and comfy

I was highly impressed with this hotels accomodations. I normally do not give reviews but I thought this hotel deserved it. Perfect location for my stay, the bed was sooo incredibly comfortable. 2 thumbs up!

It is a good hotel for the money you pay; just be sure to ask if the shuttle to the Metro is working; I had to pay for the taxis to get to the station.

Ist room 617 had roaches or an unknow bug. Night Manager could not find my reservations for my 2nd night stay.So he decided to call my room 1:50 AM Woke me out of a sounds Sleep,.1st thing he said ,"who is this?".Sleepy and Annoyed I asked who is this?.His responds I'm the night manager.But never excuse himself for calling at that hour of morning.He […] preceeded tell me that I was a no show, and that I needed to come down stairs or my credit card will be charged for another night stay at a different rate. That dispute went on for about twenty minutes before he found the information on file. I then went on to ask him about the next night and was told that was also not on file. I was then placed on hold for about five minutes, before he came back and told me he found it. This was my worst stay ever. I reported issue to day manager who informed me that the matter could have waited and he didnot have to call me at that ungodly hour, demanding that I come downstairs. Les mer

Neighborhood is not very nice. I found a giant toe nail on carpet next to my bed upon checking in. Hallways had a foul smell. Overall cleanliness was bad. Would not stay here again.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn because it was close to Fed Ex Field and it was convenient to the concert we were attending. When we arrived there was a pair of filthy women's underware in the middle of the entrance sidewalk. (This pair was still there when we came back to the hotel several hours later.) Our room, although clean. had a horrible odor of […] towels/sheets that had been left wet and "spoiled." The odor was overpowering and you could smell it in the hall. The breakfast was good, however there was no air conditioning in the lobby or breakfast room so it was extremely hot and stuffy. The convenience of this hotel was great, but overall it was not a good experience. I would not stay here again. Les mer

Overall- it's a good hotel for the price. The outside was modern and kept up nicely. Lobby was welcoming. breakfast was average. Rooms were average sized, clean, and modern. Free wifi throughout buidling. Free shuttle to/from the nearest Metro station (about 2 minute drive). The biggest negative thing I would have to say was throughout our three day […] stay, the elevators were "out of service" for maintenance issues, had to take the stairs a lot. For the money, this hotel was OK. Nothing fancy, but we weren't looking for fancy. The neighborhood was not the best. There's no way that I'd go out at night in that neighborhood. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short and here's where the good part comes in. Neither the hotel or Hotels.com gave us a problem with reimbursement for the nights not […] used. Excellent service from the staff. Decent breakfast. Tub/shower faucet handle barely worked and water temp could not be adjusted. Totally inadequate number of electrical outlets in the room. I needed to charge cell phone as well as plug in computer and charge batteries for my DVR. There was only one available plug (bathroom) which already had hair dryer […] and coffee maker plugged in. Had to unplug bedside light to be able to plug in computer and had to alternate charging other electronics using plug in the bathroom. Les mer

Everthing was just ok, I am use to going to hotels with their own dinning area and bar, where You don't have to venture out into the neighborhood

Minor issue for improvement; Bedspread / Comforter Stained. furniture tops needed to be wiped cleaned. Microwave nor icebox worked needs updating / replaceing.

BREAKFAST: They don't have a king's breakfast, but they have what it takes to keep you going through lunch: cereals, a couple of fruits, milk, coffee, chocolate, waffles, some kinds of bread, some donuts and three types of juice. Fantastic customer service, clean and comfortable room, easy and fast check in and out. Overall a fantastic stay - I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!! And would stay again in a heartbeat.

From our arrival, we were disappointed to get double beds when we booked kings. After that, the hotel proved to be very noisy (party on the ground floor and heavy traffic). The only advantage is to be close to underground which was very convenient to go to Washington.

The room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff were very helpful and enjoyed their jobs. Overall, I would stay there again.

Nice hotel, nice service. A little old but overall nice. It's 15 minutes from DC, driving. The breakfast is not great.

This hotel is located close to sights in Washington. However, the hotel cleanliness and maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. Each night we would come to the room and floors had not been swept, not enough towels/wash clothes had been left. There were no electrical plugs on the desk or around it. It basically was a place to sleep (not to rest).

The toilet was broken on arrival. The exercise room smelled musty. The water was out and turned brown the first day. The maid did not clean the room. We moved out due to these issues.

Stayed 8 nights (TOO long) Very kind and helpful staff. Beds great, rooms old with mildew smell. Shuttle to metro-great plus but hotel needs updating, breakfast okay but all carbs. Good deal for the dollar. Convenient but Not a very good neighborhood!

We stayed at this hotel due to the closeness of Six Flags and only stayed one night. The room was very noisey and very small. I did not like the split shower/toilet and the sink being on the outside of the bathroom. The staff was very helpful. Could not stay more than one night at this hotel. I would recommend only if stay is a short visit.

This hotel is a good value for the price. We enjoyed three nights and had no problems at all.

A good hotel for the price overall. The room was a little small but all we needed for a couple of nights to stay and commute back and forth to DC.

The shuttle goes only to the Morgan Boulevard Metro stop (not to Largo). The hours are a little restrictive - make sure you know when you can get back at night and don't miss the last available shuttle because the local cabbies rip you off ($12 for a 1-mile ride, albeit in the rain). The washer/dryer worked, but the dryer vent was disconnected so it […] vented into the room making it very hot and humid. The other hotel amenities all worked well. Les mer

The room was clean, but could be spruced up a bit. Staff was friendly and helpful. I called from the National Zoo for directions. The lead me efficiently and were waiting for me out front to waive me in. Well done!

Not to many hotels close to FED EX field and the Skins. A little over a mile, it was as convenient as it could get. Two public computers downstairs is nice. Breakfast area was busy and very crowded. Had to eat in our room because of the cramped space. Overall, I would and will come back when we see the Redskins next year.

This is a clean no frills hotel, the staff was friendly and when we were there most of the other guests were also going to the Redskins game so that was fun.

Great value. The staff could'nt have been better. The shuttle service to the metro worked out perfect, I didn't have to use my car all week. I will stay here again.

The hotel is about 0.6 miles from Metro station. Hotel transport to shuttle has very limited hours. Rooms average. Fitness area compact. Neighborhood busy area.

Stayed here to go to Six Flags America and visit the capital (secondary reason) and the location was perfect for both. We had a car so the shuttle having odd hours did not matter to us. The room was very comfortable, although a bit small, but fine for two people. The door did not close without (almost) slamming it, but only when you closed it from the […] outside. Our key cards became unactivated twice during the stay, and we were not required to give ID to get them reactivated which is slightly concerning. Most people were very nice and we would stay here again as it was comfortable and food (fast food and IHOP) was close, as well as 6 flags being so close and 15-20 minutes from DC. Les mer

The hotel was very nice, the pool hours were dumb only 2-8pm and be very wary of game nights, we stayed multiple nights it was quiet and pleasant except for game night the loud till 5am.

I could not compliment the staff highly enough. I had car trouble and they were able to provide me with jump leads to get me going again and even a staff member to take me to the toyota garage. Hotel was in a good location if you want something that is just outside the city. Would definitely stay there again, with or without car trouble.

The staff was AMAZING. The were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and had a fridge and a microwave. The location is great, there is a Target, and lots of food choices. The people in the area were friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back next summer. They provide a shuttle bus to the Metro.

This hotel is perfect for anyone going to FedEx Field for a Redskins game and is very comfortable, quiet and clean. We've stayed here twice and plan to stay again.

At first sight everything looks good nice enterance, all empoyees were super nice even the room was nice at first glance. Untill with a little inspection you see the frequent water dripping from the ceiling with prior water damage. No local Tv and a gross bathroom. Now onto the location. thought it wasnt to bad untill a Police officer laughed at me […] when I told him where I was staying then stating "if this was a weekend I would escort you back to your room and demand they give you your money back, there is nothing but strippers and hookers bringing their clients there". shoppers beware. It ain't the Ritz-Carlton, but it was cheap, clean and relatively close to FedEx field, with complimentary shuttle service to the nearby Metro station (limited hours, though). Free breakfast in the lobby area to boot.

Local channels on cable did not work...There was old writing on the walls from prvious guests....door didn't lock securely(had to pull it shut when leaving)

Decent property, wireless was adequete but not speedy, pool didn't open until 2pm, continental breakfast was okay, but prepare to stand in line if you want a waffle. Metro station about a mile walk, or daily parking was 4.25 (aug'09) at the Metro. Pretty limited hotel shuttle hours to the metro, so that option was not very useful. The room is of reasonable size. However, with two large double beds, little space is left for anything else. I had to arrange my chair towards the corner of a suqre table to be able to sit in the chair and work on my laptop. However many times, do people really need two large double beds? At least, there should be some rooms with one large bed and one […] single bed, which will make the room a lot more useful and pleasant in the evening doing some work with a laptop computer. Getting into DC was easy due to the free hotel shuttle to the Blue Metro stop.
